Took my car to Formula one autocentre in Wigston to have 4 new tyres fitted to my vehicle with balancing included. I arrived 15 mins before my appointment as requested by the website, I booked in and took a seat in the waiting room.
Whilst waiting, there was a lady complaining to the man on the reception desk very irrate at the fact she had been there over 1 hour and 45 mins to have one tyre changed. Later I was to discover why she was irrate as I too discovered for myself, it took over 2 hours 15 minutes to change my own car tyres. I used to work for a wheel refurbishment company, and I used to be able to do the same thing myself in under 45 minutes, so couldn't quite understand why it took so long. There was no urgency or rush within the establishment, even when my car was completed, they didn't have the decency to apologise or even give an explanation as to why I had such a long wait.
Service was shockingly appalling, customers welfare and respect clearly wasn't important to the business. Word of mouth goes along way and this is one place I'll happily not recommend in the future. Complete time wasters.

I goes earlier with 25 minutes and he tell me in 10 minutes will come and take my car, after 50 minutes i go inside and he tell me again in 10 minutes, but this time i said to that man i allready wait for 50 minutes and now i have appointment and refuse to fitted anymore Because i buy from Asda tyres with fitted on them, they refuse to fit my tyres and i tell them i will make complain he give me out from store

Competitive price for MOT & have been very satisfied with the service I have received.

F1 autocentre dealt with my MOT efficiently, they were trustworthy and I will be using them again.

I have a few cars, drive around 50k miles a year & am a petrolhead. Main dealers charge a fortune for routine maintenance so have been coming here for some years for work- always get excellent service & brilliant work for a fraction of main dealer prices.

I have had issues with my BMW M car to the point where I was about to sell it; Ajmal & his team in F1 Wigston identified exactly why my BMW was handling so badly and losing traction like everyday was a snow day. 1 day with them & the car is running as it should have been from the main dealers- completely transformed & drove home in the storm without the traction light coming on once.

They can do all the routine servicing, even of these type of cars & I would absolutely recommend them.

Thanks again for all of the servicing & diagnostics- much cheaper than main dealers & a far better service.

A huge thank you to the team at Wigston Formula One Autocentres for sorting out the exhaust on my beloved Saab so quickly and efficiently yesterday.

Fixed a slow puncture, saving me the cost of a tyre. Sorted my MOT. No hassle service.

Quote low(ish) - charge high seems to be policy and practice.
I was quoted for the front pipe (for an old Astra) with no mention of the likely need for a replacement lambda sensor. When I raised the question I was reassured that they managed to remove and reuse them in 90-95% of cases. More fool me for believing this nonsense! The manager at a rival garage just burst out laughing when I quoted what I was told!

So no surprises that I needed a new sensor--and no surprise that the quote was a massive 50% more than the identical item (original manufacturer spec) from Eurocarparts. Plus they wanted £15 on top to fit it--all of 5-10 minutes work.

Absolutely no doubt this is part of the company's business model and not just a young, inexperienced manager being over optimistic.

Avoid at all costs.

Was on the way to the space centre with my son when we had to pop into this store after having a minor car incident. Can't recommend these guys enough. So so helpful and friendly and no job was to small for them. Wish we had friendly staff like this at my local F1 store in grantham. Massive thanks to Simon too for the nice hot drink. I had a puncture turned up without appointment and they sorted my car even though they were busy. Thank you Simon and the crew.
