What can i say use to be my go to garage for service and tryes, untill they damaged my car door last year, insurance claim went in repaired at cost of the garage, so gave them benefit of the doubt and had more of our family cars go in for tyres, service, mots, but lately service is appauling, keep canceling at no notice no mot person available, dont book in jobs corrrectly when u phone up and keep u waiting long time when told to bring car in early morning but car still not touched at 5.30pm in evening so had to wait again, dis organised ,no customer service and just chaos since new owners. wont be using anymore..very disapointed... do not recommend no more.

Avoid! This used to be my go-to garage yet recently communication, organisation and just simply trying to get an interim service here seems impossible. Formula 1 Newport Pagnell had my car for 2days without getting the work done without any valid reason, waste of time, effort and money. I do not recommend.

I had excellent service originally from Gordon and then from the owner of the branch as well as the fitter. They were excellent from start to finish.

Car entered for Mot . failed on velocity rubber & side door light. George manager quoted me £310.00 on paper. I am a lady and have had one of these done before and know the price what he quoted was triple the price. Asked him twice to tell me how he got this figure no response .Work was completed by another garage for under £50 it was just a loose clip. Payed for another Mot else where as certainly didn’t trust them no more.Total cost was just over £80 else where. George you should be ashamed of yourself trying to rip of a local person in your area . I will not ever come back and will make sure everyone I know is made aware of you

Excellent service at emergency short notice
Fixed my puncture immediately for reasonable price. I could have had RAC come out at cost of £245 for new tyre but formula kne fixed it for £27

Booked online for a Saturday morning puncture repair. It did not show up on the system. The staff rebooked me for Sunday afternoon.
Job was done, no complaints.

I’ve had numerous poor experiences at this garage, and have now just found another issue caused by them!
Had a service and MOT here in September last year, advised to change the front discs and pads before they did the MOT - which I agreed to.
Fast forward to a few weeks back, took my car in for an oil change and rear disc/pad change. I was then advised and shown by the technician that the front discs and pads are actually worse than the rear due to how they were installed 6 months prior (by the same garage), the discs were all scratched up, calipers weren’t releasing properly and was basically told that who ever did the install, made a mess of it!
I reluctantly agreed to having new discs and pads all round as I was told it was unsafe to drive in that condition.

When it came to the oil change, I was told afterwards that whoever did the service (remember, at the same garage), hadn’t closed the oil filter housing properly and the filter was hanging out, so that whenever I would accelerate hard, I would have been having oil spilling out.

I was advised at the same visit (as the oil change and brake replacement) that my rear tyres are close to the legal limit and need changing. I took my car to have this done yesterday (at a different garage) only to be told that they can’t get my wheels off as the lug nuts have been rounded off from the torque guns used at F1 (the last place to remove my wheels), so now what? I need to spend more money getting that damaged fixed that this garage has caused.

These are only my experiences, my partner has had an issue before where she was charged for an air con regas that was never actually done!

Horrendous experience. Will avoid going forward. 4 x tyres ordered a week ago through one of their many associated websites (tyresavings.com) . Confirmatory email received etc…turned up as a bleary eyed sales assistant unequivocally stated no can do as haven’t phoned them to book in..and apparently it says on their website (it may well do somewhere on Formula One’s website but I used an intermediary which does not cross refer…). So no integration of systems or process- great work Forumla One!

Thanks to Gordon the new centre manager, did my tyre pressures and gave great advice. This has got to be the best garage in Newport Pagnell.

Went in on a friday morning with a flat tyre , advised to return the next day , discussed which tyre I required and the need for it to be done by 11 am as I had work . Returned at 9.15 Saturday as had book in . My tyre was not in stock , not sure why this wasnt checked the day before . Advised it would be delivered Monday , so they put my spare on. No communication from them Monday , I called once in morning , still not been delivered . Called again at 3 pm and was told it had arrived. Stopped off on way home from work . When I paid it was not the tyre I had requested , but a dirt cheap one with a rating of G for economy and road grip. Would have given higher than two stars were it not for this as I know the lads cannot help what tge delivery companies do , but the wrong tyre and no apology for that or the 3 day wait !

Called up in the morning and had a tyre fitted within a few hours. Really great service and will now go back every time! Thankyou for making a stressful burst tyre situation so much easier!

Friendly and professional service, MOT was completed on time.

Booked and paid for an MOT online. Had to book 17 days in advance due to no earlier appointments available (which in hindsight should have raised suspicions). Received the day before reminder text only to turn up on the day to be told no Tester was available. Offered a refund or an appointment at another branch a week after MoT expiry on my van! Clearly contracted to do it and then didn’t deliver leaving me high and dry. Rang Euan at customer services who said he would have to speak to the branch manager but would send me an acknowledgement email in meantime. Four days later no acknowledgment and of course no resolution. Poor systems, poor branch management, poor customer services.
By the way don’t tag a “please contact or customer services” response.

gave me cheap brakes - when i went back to complain they were squeaking and not that responsive i was told it was because of dust.

Having used Formula 1 for many years and provided excellent on line reviews, I booked a statutory MOT with a 30 day lead time. I paid for this via Pay Pal.
3days before this vehicle was due for the test I had another that required attention. So this was booked in. The mot was cancelled by F1 due to no tester. The 2nd vehicle was so incompetently attended to it was embarrassing. The refund is outstanding, and we have made alternative arrangements for the 2nd vehicle to be repaired properly .. An embarrassment and a shambles , what a joke, run by incompetent people who I doubt have any real knowledge of motor vehicles or customer care.

I had tyres fitted at Formula 1 in Newport Pagnell. The wheel balancing machine was doing a 'computer says no' so they couldn't balance the wheels that day.

The guys were as good as their word - they called me the minute the machine was fixed a day later and fitted me in at my choice of time that same day to do the work.

They sorted out what was a frustrating and annoying issue and left me feeling happy. I've used Formula 1 for years now and I'll certainly return.

I popped in to The Newport Pagnell garage on Saturday 11th November to ask for a puncture to be repaired and was told they don't have the jacking pads to work on a Tesla. I find this strange as a only had some rear tyres fitted a couple of months ago at the same garage, the lad said the person who had those pads may have left. Surely with the popularity of Tesla this would be something every garage would carry as standard? Anyway I went to Kwik Fit and they fixed the puncture no problem at all.

Raffaele at Formula One in Newport Pagnell assisted me with a great deal of professioalism. Definitely recommended.

I had fantastic service from Reece and Ali at the Newport Pagnell branch. They fitted me into their schedule without an appointment and immediately fixed a faulty valve problem on my wheel, They were both extremely professional, very helpful and generous, even refusing payment for their time. Resulting from this superb customer service, I shall only go to them for my car tyres, servicing and MOTs.
