I had my tyres replaced and a fuse checked. The team were very helpful and prompt in fixing both issues and I highly recommend for convenience and service.

I took my car into Formula One in Hertford with what I knew to be either a a leaking hose or a new Water pump required. I advised them of this.
They had my car 5 days and after chasing them 3/4 times they told me it needed a new water pump and this was something they don't do.
I needed my car for work and they knew I was having to walk until I got my car back.
When I attended to collect the car I queried why they did not tell me they do not fix water pumps as I would have taken it to another garage straight away.
The assistant Manager (who stated he had been away) then said they did!!! When asked why we had been told they did not? He stated only some!!
When again asked why that was not explained he simply shrugged his shoulders.
I have used the garage before but won't be doing so again. It seems the manager was off (as was the assistant Manager, though obviously he was no more use than other staff members).
I should have realised it was an error when I arrived to leave the car initially as only one person was working all the other staff were standing around either chatting or texting on their phones and my presence felt like just an inconvenience.
At the end of it all they had the cheek to tell me they would not charge me for looking at the car as if they had done me a favour.

They can make all the excuses they want as i expect from previous responses from the company to other criticism on Trustpilot. People don't just make this stuff up for fun. I don't want anything from them. Nothing to be gained here from me. Just want to warn others.

I was meant to have my MOT done today, but that didn’t happen.

It was my first time visiting this branch, and as soon as I walked in, I was told I’d entered through the wrong door. No greeting, no "good morning"—just that I'd gone through the wrong door.

Then, another customer walked in, and the receptionist turned his back to me and started chatting to him. They seemed to know each other, as they were discussing not only the service to be done but also some personal stuff. After a good while of catching up, he finally asked what I was there for. I told him I had an MOT booked, and he said I was late and had missed my appointment.

To be fair, I was 15 minutes late, which ended up being 25 minutes since he spent so long with his mate (who came in after me). However, when I booked the MOT, there was no mention of losing the appointment due to lateness, and no apology for how rude the whole experience was.

I’ve recently moved to Hertford, and this was my first visit to an F1 Autocentre. It’ll definitely be my last.

The worst 'service' I have ever received!
I was quoted for unnecessary work, overcharged for work I agreed to, AND lied to.
The manager was rude and clearly needs some training in what Customer Service actually is!
I would not go here again if it was the last garage in Hertford!

NB. I took my car elsewhere, where it passed the MOT easily, WITHOUT the expensive work F1 said it needed!

There simply isn't enough staff and those they do have aren't wonderfully great at customer service.
An admin/receptionist of some kind who can apply some order/empathy/system would work wonders.

Went in with a puncture on my tyre. Was expecting a big bill. Only charged to repair a puncture. Great price. Fitted me in without a prior booking. Always have used formula and would 100% recommend

Saved my bacon so to speak. Absolutely amazing guys here, so friendly and helpful. Did in 30 minutes a main dealership couldn’t, after they had my car a week (the main dealership had my car). Amazing service, thank you so so much

Fast and efficient service. Fitted me in and completed the job very quickly on new years eve. Very fair and didn’t overcharge.

Jay from the Hertford branch was excellent. I had a puncture and he slotted me in that morning and fixed it in less than an hour. Top service and reasonable price too.

We traveled from Norwich to Hertford for the evening, hoping to return later.

20mins from Hertford the tyre pressure warning came on and on investigation we had a screw in one of the front tyres.

We called ahead and arrived 30mins before they closed!

Within 15mins, puncture repaired and back on the road.

Definitely a 5 Star service.

From the moment I arrived nothing was to much trouble. They sorted my flat tyre straight away. Great service highly recommend

Really poor customer service. They were late for my MOT and then failed it and wanted me to wait a further 2 hours to retest it. The staff were aggy and didn’t even bother to call me to tell me my car was ready at the end.

Rang to order a new tyre as a result of a screw in my tyre. They managed to repair the tyre saving me a lot of money in the process. Kept me updated all the way through. I’m delighted.

The actual online purchase and fitment of the three tyres at Formula One Autocentre in Hertford was fine.

The service at the Hertford branch is always first rate. I’d booked in for a puncture repair as I had a screw in my tyre but it had come out by the time I got there and there wasn’t a leak - so they didn’t replace the tyre (and the second one on the same axel). Saved me hundreds of pounds by not doing unnecessary work, which shouldn’t be notable but seems rare these days. Will only ever use F1 Auto Centres

Fitted my daughters Q3 with 2 new tyres same day because of a big trip. And just fixed my puncture whilst I waited. All the staff happy and singing and Ewan excellent Manager seems very organised.
