Opting out (why not opt-in?) impossible without giving them even more information than they already have.

How can people sell peoples information without consent?? This is illegal! and if you try to opt out they ask even more illegal information from you!! How is this possible this kind of companies exists?? in EU where i am located, this is illegal per GPDR. It looks they harvest Linkedin for the most of the data. Illegal name registrys.

Why should I opt out when I never opted in?
And how can the guys from Explorium dare say it's "legitimate interest" of collecting and selling my data?
It's illegal business and definitely no legitimate interest.
They even claim being certified by several standards. Well, of course they don't want to have "their data" stolen or otherwise disclosed. But the certification says nothing about HOW they collected or otherwise acquired that information -- legally or not.
I never "opt-out" on such requests and my experience proves me right.
I had already received such announcements from other SPAM-introducers and yes shortly afterwards my company account was flooded with SPAM and SCAM and totally unrelated business "opportunities".
Unfortunately many companies (just like mine) just tell their workers to "just ignore and delete that nonsense" instead of setting legal actions. That's the way how such "companies" like Explorium.ai can still acquire their money for nothing!

Even worse: You must enable cookies in order to un-subscribe, with some bogus reason that the Captcha needs this.

Company obtains personal data by illegal means I suspect through buying lists, scraping or processing data breach data. I never heard of them or interacted with them yet somehow they had my email address and contacted me and informed me that they are processing my data. This is illegal under EU law. You can’t add random peoples personal data to your database and then process their data and tell them “well if you don’t want that, you can opt out by applying via this link where you have to fill out even more information plus we might process your IP address and generate a unique finger print when visiting our website and link it to your details”

scammers want to monetize my personal data without my consent and in order to stop i should opt out and provide more data.

not authorized data scraping, and to stop it you should provide even more personal data like phone number and others... it's not legal for GDPR law of EU users.

Not sure how they get 2.6 when all the reviews are 1 star.
This company collects your data without your permisson and then requires you to provide more data in order to "opt-out"
I'm pretty sure that it is illegal to operate in this way in the UK/EU but then I note that they are based in Israel so all bets are off.

So, you are using my email address for your benefit, and in order to opt-out (so that you stop doing this) you are suggesting me go to your link fill out a form where I MUST provide the following (compulsory) information:

First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, State of Residence, Address of Residence, Zip Code!!!!!!!!!!

To ask you to stop using my 1 personal data, I have to provide you even MORE personal data?

This company is a con. They harvest all of the data they can find about you and sell that data to other companies so they can spam you. They suggest you can opt out to stop them collecting data about you. Funny thing is they want your full name, phone number and address to opt out. This means they know nothing about you except your email address. Dont get conned by opting out. UPDATE, 29 jAN 2025 - I have seen the response from explorium.ai and followed the link where they suggest you can opt out on their website. It mentions completing a form on this webpage. Further the web page describes the legal rights to opt out, but this only applies to residents of the USA or those in the Economic European Area. I live in the UK and there is no advice to UK residents to opt out. I still beleive this company is acting illegally and a con.

Harvesting personal data and requires you to provide more personal data to opt-out. This sort of business should be illigal.

AI harvesters of personal data. Only noticed because of GDPR requirements.

Oh, and they want more of your personal information to object to having any of your personal information.

Another example of why AI companies have such a terrible reputation for bad ethics.

Further update: the company is attempting to contest my review (which matches the experience of 2 others here) and is asking for personal information from me.
