Andy was really encouraging and he helped me pass my test in a matter of months. You’ll never have a boring lesson with andy. I really recommend andy to any new drivers looking for a good driving instructor.

A huge thank you to Aneka, who helped my daughter pass her driving test 7 weeks after her 17th birthday. She really built great rapport with Phoebe and she always looked forward to her lessons. She was always open about the amount of lessons she needed and didn’t push for unnecessary lessons.
When we managed to get a cancellation test, Aneka had a family event and she still managed to slightly adjust her plans and be there for her through to the end. Thank you so much Aneka, I can’t recommend you highly enough. Thank you!

Cannot thank Richard enough !!! As someone who suffers from anxiety, I really struggled with test nerves but Richard helped me so much with easing my nerves and making me a much more confident driver. I couldn’t have done it without him and couldn’t recommend him enough, I’m gonna miss my lessons.

Richard recently taught my son successfully through to a first time pass. He made the whole process simple and engaging for my son and he enjoyed the lessons and you could see his progress and his confidence build. Been At excel driving school, is like having a personal instructor to full-fill your individual needs to achieve your goal. The instructor no only wants and prepares you to pass your CDL test but he cares, he teaches you how to be safe on the road as well.Thanks excel driving school for ever greatfull.

Today was a great victory, as I finally passed my practical driving test—after failing three times for not attending a driving school. The best decision I made was finding this academy, because the instructor, John Cochran, teaches from the heart—with true passion, extensive experience, and the best attitude I’ve ever seen.

I say this with full confidence, as I have over 35 years of driving experience across different parts of the world and with various licenses from other countries. However, because I had obtained or exchanged licenses previously in different parts of Europe, the USA, and Latin America, I wasn’t able to exchange my license for a British one. So I had to start from scratch—both the theory and practical tests.

The theory test was easier for me—I passed it on three separate occasions, as it expires every two years. But I failed the practical test each time I took it without going to a driving academy, because I felt overconfident due to my 35+ years of experience. Still, after Brexit, I was required to get a UK license from zero.

If you truly want to pass the test, this is your best move. There is no other way...

Brilliant place to learn to drive keeps moods high even if you make a mistake not knocking your confidence which is brilliant. Rich helped me to my test and I smashed it out the park so highly recommend very welcoming also.

Richard took me on after previous bad experiences with other instructors and taught me from scratch. Had a cancellation for a test and andy helped me out with his car and did a great job at instructing 👍
