Avoid these amateurs
I made a claim against my bike insurance about a month before my insurance was due to expire. A few weeks later I received an email stating that my renewal was being declined, which was bemusing but not a problem as I hadn't asked for it to be renewed. Then a few weeks later I receive another email: "success! your cover has been renewed for another year!". No advance notification that this was happening, no idea how much they had taken out of my account, no communication at all. I phoned them, as to be expected on hold for ages, and eventually spoke to someone who didn't know what was happening and put me on hold again whilst she went to figure out was what going on. She came back to me saying she guaranteed that she would get back to me by the end of the day. She didn't get back to me.
I called Ever(not so)sure again the next day and spoke to someone else. Again she was not sure what had happened but assured me that the money that had been taken out of my account would be refunded. It was refunded-MINUS A PENNY!!!. In other words, not enough to complain about but enough for them to make a tidy profit should they do this to everyone they pay out to. Use Sundays for your cycle insurance- costs a bit more but more competent and trustworthy

Getting hold of a human is virtually…
Getting hold of a human is virtually impossible. It looks like if I ever had a claim it would take 4 days to get an acknowledgement never mind any assistance. Hardly suitable if I needed alternative accommodation in a rush. They wrongly took double payment when they were instructed not to renew an existing as I had found a quote cheaper on line with them! they effectively seem to have no system that checks if you have an existing policy to prevent double insuring! Avoid unless you like typing on a live chat in the hope you actually get assistance and a response!
