Overall good service, no issues at all. Helpful and nice salesman

My car was booked in for a repair at Evans Halshaw Bedford. The service I received was excellent. Helen dealt with the warranty company and booked in the appointments at times that fitted in with my shifts. Brilliant. I should also say that I didn't buy the car through Evans Halshaw, but still received excellent service. Maybe other dealers should be like this.....

I’ve had some issues with the car but after speaking to Paul in sales and Steve the dealer principal I cannot recommend Evans Halshaw enough the customer service was above and beyond, the car had a service and MOT as well and the service team were amazing and even washed my car, should be 10 stars

Genuinely the worst customer I have ever experienced with any purchase. I purchased a 2nd hand car at the start of November in your Bedford branch and and the complete lack of any customer service is staggering.

The original advert for the car stated it had Apple Carplay and reverse parking cameras, and I provided evidence to confirm this. After 2 months of back and forth, needing to complain to their head office and the finance company, I finally got them to agree to pay a 3rd party business to retrospectively install them at no charge to me, of which, I had to source myself.

When I visited the car in the showroom, it didn't have a parcel shelf, so I specifically asked for this to be ordered when the vehicle arrived. It arrived with the wrong size parcel shelf. I also noticed the car had broken USBC sockets in the car, so I raised this as part of my complaint too. I am now here over 3 months later on, with multiple emails to both the original salesperson and the Sales Manager, and receiving no responses. I have sent numerous chasing emails, and they have completely stopped responding.

I deliberately went with a well known dealership for the purchase of a new family car, as I expected the customer service and after sales to be good, and I couldn't have been more wrong. I am still here with multiple issues and no sign of this being resolved. I am not one for writing reviews, but the service received is so appalling, that I have no other choice, to try and seek a resolution!

I would stay away from purchasing any car from the Bedford branch!

Car booked in for annual MOT while I waited, everything straightforward as usual. Was kept up to date with progress, no issues.

Excellent service as per usual from Evans Halshaw in Bedford.

Elina helped sort a car for my husband for his disability needs and kept us in the loop all the way through. Her colleague finalised everything for us and was also very helpful. The only gripe I have isn't with the staff but the car, it has a built in air vent to act like a fridge in centre consol right next to my hip and I shiver as there is no way I can find to turn it off. The car is the new grandland 2025 addition, it's driving me mad other than that the car is fabulous to drive etc.

I usually have my car serviced here. The video and car health check is useful. What have motivated this review though is they managed to get my service moved from being penciled for pickup at 5pm to being done late morning. Since I’m not local this prevented me having to hang around in Bedford all day.

Good mot and service, slight surprise with failed numberplate light and price to replace ( quite high) but they did phone me to say mot would fail without this being done so oked it.

At first it was for an mot why my vehicle was in the garage. The additional checks, however, revealed quite a few other failings that I hadn't spotted when purchasing the second hand astravan privately. It wasn't the best purchase as thes checks showed up. Nonetheless I now have the peace of mind knowing what I'm driving is safe and more reliable. My old banger isn't perfect but it's a lot better.

Booked in for an MOT and it was a very smooth process from booking to collection. The sales advisor was really polite and helpful and kept me informed. Would definitely use them again

This time around I left the dealership dissatisfied with the service given. I had booked my vehicle for a service and MOT for 08:30 in the morning, I arrived 08:20 handed my keys over to the consultant and agreed on what was to happen that is the vehicle is to have the MOT done after the items picked up from health check had been fixed. At 10:51 I received the vehicle health check(almost 3 hour wait please note this is the first time I’ve had to wait this long for vehicle health check without the video) unbeknownst to me that the MOT had been done and it had failed and nobody thought to inform me.The temperature in the dealership is as good as sitting outside so might as well put the waiting chairs outside.Upon receiving the vehicle health check I was told it was going to take the whole day to fix the car which I understood but the dealership had no courtesy cars I could pay to use for the time my car was being fixed which was disappointing so I was stuck in a very cold place. At 5pm after waiting 9 hours for my car I was informed the car was ready and I was upset that they did not follow simple instructions and they have done this TWICE!!! now my vehicle has a history of failed MOT’s and to add salt to injury I have a cold now🤷🏽‍♀️!! Not to mention the leaks I was told not to worry about it’s screen wash as I was collecting the vehicle only to realise it’s the coolant and by the time I got home it was finished. Do you realise that you could have damaged my engine?? This is appalling!!!!!

My car had it's second service. It was super easy all round, from getting it booked in to getting the work needed done. Couldn't have asked for better and wouldn't want to go anywhere else

Having been a customer of Evan’s Halshaw for many, and having 2 Vauxhall vehicles we have been using their services for all of our needs, MOTs, Services and repairs.
And the main reasons being that we are treated with respect, courtesy, professionalism from all of the staff, they are all knowledgeable as to our needs and requirements, which gives us every confidence in using their services.
And their focus is on customer satisfaction, and keeping a ongoing line of communication between ourselves and the company, from start to finish.
