I am currently broken down in Austria…
I am currently broken down in Austria in my 2002 motorhome which should have Ford assist. I phoned Ford Assist only to be told Evans Halshaw Breton had not registered this with them. Explaining it must be an oversight as Evans Halshaw had also forgotten to upload my service to the Ford App I rang Evans Halshaw only to be told by Cara that the manager said I wasn’t covered as I had needed to pay for this. My vehicle is 2021. Paying would not have been a problem but I asked when booking the service was this included as it was with M53 Ford Ellesmere Port service. I was told it was.
I today asked Cara to help me sort this out as I was stranded. She said she hadn’t worked there long but would speak to the manager. She came back to say she could no longer help, as the manager said he could not find I was covered. I asked to speak to the manager Julien. She came back and said he was on a teams meeting. I said I would hold. After 4 mins they cut me off. So in short I am with my 90 year old mother in a broken down vehicle with Evans Halshaw not even giving me the courtesy of an apology or even a conversation with the Manager. Disappointing to say the very least! I would like to raise a formal complaint.

It has been a difficult time trying to secure a satisfactory trade in, after a long delay (Ford UK problem) getting our new van. Glyn understood the issue (over 30% change in our van value) and together we worked to try to come to an acceptable outcome. Eventually we managed to sell our van through Motorway. Evans Halshaw Manchester had offered substantially more than the Broughton branch. Unfortunately the company who were going to collect our van (Walsall Based) could not accommodate us for some time, so Glyn assisted and we ended up taking our van to Broughton, who arranged an internal transfer (I believe) allowing us to purchase our new van.
I have to say without Glyn and my not insubstantial efforts, the new van would not have been purchased. Although the experience wasn't exactly smooth (in fact it was very hard work), Glyn understood and assisted whenever he could. Due to this we would look to use the Broughton branch for future purchasing/servicing requirements.

Terrible customer service & knowledge
we booked what we thought was an "interim Service" with Ford, only to receive a phone call the afternoon before to ask "what do you want" and then telling us we "couldn't" actually have an Interim service on our vehicle. in exasperation again with the level of communication I contacted Glyn in sales to ask him to speak with the Service manager on our behalf as the young lady couldn't help.
