Bought a BMW and after a month i noticed the car has been in accident, and repaired, the front pumper is not fixed properly, they selling repaired cars, stay away from them,,,,,

SCAMMERS NO PART EVER SENT NO REFUND 6 MONTHS WAITING DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY TRADING STANDARDS POLICE DEBT COLLECTORS NOW WORKING ON MY CASE DO NOT PAY THEM A PENNY LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THEM ALL LOCKED UP IN JAIL

SCAMMER ALERT!!!

Back in November I Bought a car door, wing and trim for my car, they took the money and said they will send the parts, its been close to 3 months now and still haven't received anything.
They didn't want to send me a tracking number for the delivery, so a few weeks go by and I asked them to cancel the order, they said they will refund me within 3-5 working days, still haven't received my money, every week they come up with a made up story and an excuse.
This is going on and on since 16th of January till today

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!

This is the worst dealership to deal with. Recently bought a car in May and let me just say I wish I seen all these reviews. The car had issues from the day I bought it, electricals, warning lights, belt, etc. Basically issue after issue. I got it thought finance and have been trying to resolve since May. They are no help at all and from what I see in the reviews everyone is 100% correct. Please do not buy from here even if you are experienced and know what to look for. They are a family run business but the mother and 2 sons are rude and like to bully people. I am currently speaking with lawyers and will take them to court right after I get the car back. If anyone is interested in pushing this forward along with me leave another review on here and I will find a way to reach out to you. They should not be in business and I wouldn't be surprised if these cars they are selling are stolen or been through some major accidents, which they are hiding well..

Never ever but cars from this show room, they are the worst to buy cars from, I brought a car from these cowboys and omg what a BIG mistake I did, on the 1st day of buying the car it broke down 4 times had to call aa, the second day of driving the car it would just shut off the whole engine just shuts off no signals or messages so dangerous, so called then they took the car back in did something but the issue was still there so called the warranty ppl and they were no help also so I took it to my garage and asked and the but did a coolant flush and it seemed to be okay for that time , then after 2 weeks the engine timing chain snapped, bare in mind I haven’t even driven the car a 1000 miles but still broke, they tried to say that it’s down to my driving and I need to fix the car but no way was I gonna pay for their fault for not checking and inspecting the car before selling it, so I went to the financial ombudsman and they had them fix it but then after the fix they just repaired the timing chain not replaced it and omg I’ve had sooo many issue with the car absolute joke the car has got sooo many oil leaks so many faults now, if you want problematic cars go ahead and buy from these guy. It’s a family run business so I thought it would be a nice place to buy a car from But omg was I wrong! The mother and two sons are very very rude they have no customer skills at all, they like to threaten and bully ppl. Worst car sales ppl I have met in my life! And further more they don’t inspect or check the cars for faults before selling the cars, the amount of problems I have had with this car is unbelievable! If you want to stress and worry after buying a car then go ahead and buy from these guys, I urge ppl not to buy cars from here they are a bunch of crooks! And just to let you know most of the good reviews are from their friends and family.

There are no words to describe the service (or lack thereof) I received from this dealer. I purchased a car which was purported to have full service history, low mileage and good condition. It has transpired that this couldn't be further from the truth. When asking about the service history they advised that it was all listed on the on-board computer, however, upon eventually gaining access to this, it transpires that it doesn't have full service history. To top it off, within five weeks, the car is now totally undrivable and I am faced with having to spend out thousands on a repair bill. The particular repair is something that they had advised was an issue with the car that I was trading in too, so is something that they should have picked up. They are now unwilling to help me resolve the matter and I am having to take it down other various routes to try and come to an agreeable position.
So upset that I'm having to deal with this and would urge anyone not to use this garage and to go elsewhere. If I could have given 0 stars, I would have!

I saw this vehicle (Mitsubishi outlander, licence LV64 XGR) on their website but after looking into the company (as i do with every company before purchasing) i then can across a review for the same vehicle purchased by someone else last year! look at the registration number!

Following the review, it is clear that the vehicle has been returned to the trader and is now being resold therefore I decided not to bother making an enquiry about it.

If you do make an enquiry, do ensure to ask about the previous faults stated in that revjew and proof of repair as the number of issues the person had with the trader and the car sounded like a total disaster. Personally I’d stay well clear!

Not bad customer service could be a little bit better

Car we bought had an issue from day 1. After paying the company over £250 for a 2 year warranty ive today called the warranth company who have no trace of me. They do still have an active account with the garage and say they are authorised tk sell the product. Having seen reviews on here go from average to poor over thw last year i womdered what happened and looked a littlw further expecting to find the garage reopenend in new details etc.
Sadly i have today found the facts to be even worse. The owner of the company, Dean Clark was in fact murdered last February. Echo news evidences the conviction of Garton in March 2021 for last years murder.
This lead to the selling up and closing of the business and my assumption is, everyone with a problem with their vehicle since has been left with no knowledge of this and warranties not put into the customers names etc and other issues not dealt with.
Whilst this neither helps myself or others who have issues needing resolved with vehicles, i feel its important that people are aware this isnt a case of a dodgy dealer whose taken money and gone. Simply he is no longer here and the business disolved as a result.

It may be more appropriate for reviews or the account for Essex Motors to be stopped to prevent further negative comments in such sad circunstances

Does anyone know if this company is still in business?

Their number on the website is not working and the mobile number of the guy who sold my girlfriend a car is going straight to voicemail.

DO NOT BUY A CAR OR FINANCE IN THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. MY MONEY GOT STOLEN AS THE WOMEN I SPOKE TO SAID IT WAS APPARENTLY REFUNDABLE AND SHE WASN’T GIVING MY MONEY BACK. IF YOU DON’T WANT TO GET ROBBED PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS RUBBISH DEALERSHIP.

Have owed me money on a car they bought from me for 8 months now. Had a few payments but the balance remains outstanding.

I went with my daughter this morning to take the Peugeot 207 that had been bought there a few weeks ago because it had become rather noisy. The people there thought the exhaust was the problem so they drove the car to the local exhaust centre where the defective part of the system was replaced. THe car is now running quietly. While we waited, the manager bought us some coffee from the "diner" in their car lot and we sat in the sun waiting for the car to return The work was done at no cost with no quibbles. I was very happy with quite exceptional customer service.

Enquired about a car, Essex Motors lied about the spec, I never bough the car and they haven't refunded my holding deposit.

Luckly paid by credit card so my card company are going to get my money back for me.

Once again I have to thank the sales team for a great service.
Nothings to much trouble for these guys .

Purchased a nissan quasquai from the guys at essex motors not only was the car perfect, the service leading to the sale and the aftercare was impeccable.
Was hunting for a quasquai for months and only wanted it in white.
They found me the car i wanted and at a great price.
Highly recommended in every aspect.

Bought vectra C from them. Guy told me it's in exquisite condition. Where do I start? Intake manifold needed replacing (£400), new brakes (£200),air conditioning not working even though told its working. Weak alternator, needs replacing, dirty injections, car works very uneven at idle, need reconditioning, not to mention all the problem with electrics. I understand that you're not buying a new car, but do not listen to anything they tell you. You absolutely need to have a professional mechanic with you when you're buying from them, because they will not tell you the truth. My advice, go somewhere else.
