Avoid at All Costs
I write this review reluctantly, hoping to spare others the nightmare I've endured with Enfield Windows and their supplier Origin Global.

Enfield supplied aluminium sliding windows with a misty opacity (no option to upload pictures but i have many).

The windows also allow rainwater into the channel where the windows run (by design apparently), with holes which supposedly allow the water to run away. They don't.

The water caused huge damage which I eventually claimed on the insurance out of desperation when I could get nowhere with Enfield.

While they initially accepted liability, their conduct since has been nothing short of appalling.

Since October 2024, I have made over 50 phone calls and over 100 emails chasing resolution.

Despite promising replacement windows, they refused to deliver or install them.

The complete lack of customer service is staggering. Months of empty promises, ignored communications forced me towards legal action.

Once threatened with that they replaced the door and the windows.

Enfield installed them and … the windows have exactly the same misty opacity (maybe slightly worse) as before. Yes, really. The door is now ok - turns out that was from another supplier not Origin.

It seems neither company bothered to check the windows.

They are now refusing to do any more.

So, before choosing Enfield (or Origin), ask yourself: are you prepared for potentially months of stress, dozens of unanswered calls and the possibility of legal proceedings just to enforce a warranty?

Are you also prepared to have glass that is not transparent? ("The misting on the glass is not a great look” the salesman at Enfield Windows Ltd admitted).

Because that's exactly what I've had.

My advice is simple: choose literally any other window company. The initial savings aren't worth the astronomical cost in time, stress and eventual legal fees.

I have given them one star because there's no option to give them less.

Everyone at Enfield Windows was amazing from start to finish. They were so reliable in a situation that was so unnerving for me. They were kind, Very professional, and put me at ease from the first phone call till the last pane of glass went in. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have used Enfield Windows for my front door and now my skylight. Amazing experiences. Great quality products and fair prices and the quality of workmanship is second to none. 5 Stars and I highly recommend them. Nic, based in Barnet.

From the first initial enquiry to the end of the project Enfield Windows have been amazing and very patient with my constant indecisions . The fitters Paul and Scott were first class, extremely respectful, tidying up as they went along and checking I was happy with each step. Thank you Enfield windows I love my new internal doors

I have just had a bunch of windows installed. The work was done on time and they made an excellent job of it.
The only drawback, and this is personal, is that they insisted on starting work at what was, for me, an ungodly hour of the morning!

Enfield windows recently installed windows in our house. There was quite a lot of work to be done and they did an amazing job, they were quicker than expected and were very efficient and tidy. Would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to many people.

Enfield Windows installed windows for my cousin and he was very impressed with everything. I remembered this when it came to my own windows and I decided to give them the opportunity to quote for my windows too.

Having received a quote from Terry, I decided to visit their showroom where I could see the windows I was potentially going to buy. Terry showed me around and answered all my queries. Although I had a range of quotes, some a lot higher than others, I decided to go with Enfield Windows because I just got the feeling they were going to be my best option, both for value and overall quality. All along I felt I was in safe hands.

Having paid my deposit, Wesley turned up promptly to carry out the survey and within days, the Operations Team called me with an installation date.

The Installation Team comprising of Adam, Danny and Harry were first class. They worked conscientiously together and within 3 days, they replaced all my windows and installed my new double glazed doors.

I would highly recommend Enfield Windows, as all the people I dealt with were first class and I am very happy with the quality of product and their workmanship.

There were no sales gimmicks, or silly prices that reduce if you pay early or if you install by a certain date.

Following on from my own installation, I also had windows fitted at my family home, when again, everything was first class.

Enfield windows are so trustworthy. I have windows installed 5 years ago. They were so professional clean and quick. One of my windows was having condensation build up in the middle of the double glazing. I called joe who arranged for Wesley to check it and very quickly replaced the faulty window without any charge. They, unlike many companies comply with the guarantee. They are amazing.

Enfield windows have just supplied and installed a pair of Aluminium doors to our loft room. The quality of doors is exactly what I’d hoped for and the installation was carried out professionally and to high standard. I would recommend this company 👍🏼

Was an amazing experience with Mr Jtoe and he was helpful and knowledgeable of all products. The pricing was reasonable.

Easy to deal with from start to finish. Very happy with the installation.

Hello All, we have been forced to put this disclaimer on this site as we strongly disagree with the ultra negative reviews that keyboard warriors have posted about Enfield Windows.
We strongly disagree with the comments and would ask that the people who posted the 'reviews' contact me to discuss the contents.
Also we have not been able to contact Trust Pilot to discuss these reviews so I would encourage someone from Trust Pilot to contact me also.

After using enfield windows a few times for both my properties about 5 years ago it's clear since covid something has changed. Their local number is no longer in service and get transferred to a number in St Albans. Phoned three times, each time getting some one different and unsure how to book a visit for a quote, being told someone will call back. Customer care is lacking beyond belief, 3 contact forms sent via website and three phone calls and not one person has contacted me to arrange a quote. Utterly bizarre! will never use again as this isnt the first time communication is awful. Just after covid a quote was given for a new front door and never heard back, guy who rocked up was obviously hungover and couldn't be bothered. Defiantly not the same company ethos as pre covid and new staff who are utterly shocking, hence all your terrible reviews. If a team of people can't phone a customer ready to spend, DO NOT USE!

We had our windows installed a year ago. We used Enfield Windows because we wanted to support a local company. They initially made a ridiculous mistake with the design, with the windows needing to go back to the factory which delayed the installation. We then had problems during the installation with the wrong sized glass. They look ok and installer were friendly enough, and we were initially happy, however, after installation, I complained about the acoustic quality which we subsequently realised was poor, but never got a resolution. My old original single pane windows gave better sound insulation than these. It is down to poor installation in my view and this also resulted in poor thermal insulation which we notice during the cold snap. We have older double glazed windows at the rear of the house which are superior in both thermal and acoustic installation. They weren't really interested in acknowledging these issues at the time, just getting the final payment. I would not recommend Enfield Windows - it was an expensive mistake. They have my money and I don't have the strength to fight them on this, so they are welcome to my negative review.

They did a great job. Turned up on time, fitted perfectly and cleaned up. We went for the EW classic sash throughout our house (~13 windows) and they looked great. Took them 3 days to complete with a 5 week wait time. We had Danny and Harry installers but also the office and sales teams were wonderful, can’t fault them. Would recommend !

Surprised to see the experience here. Our experience was very different!

We ordered most of the windows for our home renovation in west hampstead from Enfield Windows (and some other doors and windows from another company as they had some specific complex features we required).

Our experience with Enfield was excellent. The installation was smooth. The customer service was excellent. They went out of their way to help us. This was a very direct contrast to our other window supplier where we had countless issues.

On the Enfield order, althought there was a mistake with the glass for one of the windows. It was quickly rectified with no fuss and minimal inconvenience to us.

Elsewhere our builders had made some errors on our side and Enfield went above and beyond to accomodate the situation.

Indeed we liked their service so much we ordered a wooden front door from them too. Again it was delivered smoothly and the product feels and looks high quality. Our experience is very good and rather different from the other trustpilot reviews!

When we first had our windows installed they looked great. However, after some time it became apparent they had been installed really badly. The outside was covered in foam, there was velcro sticking outside of bits of the joins, and a whole window sill partly fell off leaving a hole in the wall of my bedroom that lets all the elements in. I'm amazed to have spent this much money on something that has ended like this. I think the product, the windows are great quality but the installation has been appalling.

I've called and messaged three times and no one has contacted me back to help me resolve this issue.

I wish I'd looked at Trust Pilot before I chose this company.

It's hard to explain how poor Enfield was because all the issues mean I'd be here all day. The entire order took a year to fulfil and not a single window went in as requested first time. Some turned up clear when the order form said opaque, some were the wrong frame, others were fitted badly. They didn't show up when planned and showed up at other times when not expected. The coordination between the office and the fitters is weak.
The sales team are fantastic but disappear once the order is in! In fact one of their inboxes regularly bounces emails.
We ordered the rest of the windows through a different supplier with the same manufacturer and it was night and day. Sure we had the usual "catch is sticky" type issue but everything went in as ordered and issues were quickly resolved as they should be.
I am stunned at the positive google reviews so let's see if this response stands.

We had a very bad experience. Communication and service were poor - work delayed without reason, emails left unanswered, scaffolding team letting themselves into my neighbours' property without permission and leaving their scaffolding on for 2 weeks after we'd been told they'd take it out.

After the works took place, we noticed that the gutter had been damaged, which they then refused to repair - leaving us to arrange and pay for more scaffolding and repairs once the works were finished. Absolutely avoid - there are lots of better companies out there.

Top notice from start to finish, done my bi-folding doors, shutter blind and lantern with them and Terry went out of his way to help me. Highly recommended
