We received a kit as an anniversary gift.

Sadly, the casting did not solidify as the instructions suggested. The entire process was a major disappointment.

Customer service was not helpful in resolution. We would never buy or recommend this!

It’s the third kit I have purchased and always quick delivery

Bought this to do a casting of myself and my husband. By the time we got around to doing it, we had had it 12 months and I wasn't sure if it would be okay. We tried it anyway but as the alginate didn't set after about 5 minutes we abandoned it. We re-ordered the alginate and stone powder and tried again. It actually took about 7-8 minutes to set. The finished result is lovely, not quite the detail as on the website but that could have been slight movement on our part. The reason I dropped one star is the finished statue only came to where our wrists are and not a few inches up the arm as on the website. I think the bucket could do with being a little taller so more of the arm can fit. Now it is in the globe there is about 4 inches of wasted glass above the statue which is a shame8

Easy ordering system, prompt delivery. Not used the product yet, but I’m sure it will be excellent.

I ordered medium one which was perfect then also ordered large on thinking my parent hands with mine would both fit but it was just the height if the glass dome not the width of the wooden slice.

My husband is terminally ill, and we did a family one with ours daughters, such a fun thing to do, for a life time of memories

Absolutely loved mine, a memory that I will cherish forever of me and my Nan. I would suggest a 3rd person to do the mixing and timing etc, makes it easier for those doing the cast.

A "surprise gift" for our 25th wedding anniversary.
We haven't made our cast as yet, but I was very pleased with the service from Edinburgh Casting Studio. The kit arrived on the promised date, well packed and with easily understood instructions.

Our casts arrived and I was a little nervous having to take the tub along with a hand mixer and oil to the hospital where my partner was staying before his passing.

We followed instructions, and I was adamant this wouldn’t work, however, how wrong was I.

They both turned out so beautiful and I have just sent them both away for a paint and tidy service.

Unfortunately my partner passed away on the 6th February after an 12 month battle with cancer at a young age of 54 and now we can hold his hand forever.

I had an order query they answered immediately. Very fast delivery of product. Helpful and polite.
