One can't rate this product on a stand-alone basis. More relevant than the product itself is the paucity in the number of suppliers which also dictates the cost given that therefore inevitably transport costs form a large part of it. It is well crafted and good quality timber. If there were more suppliers I might complain that there were quite a lot of cracks in it presumably as a result of a fast drying process. But for my purposes (I am going to carve it and paint it) I will fill them anyway. The value for money reflects the fact that it was supplied from hundreds of miles away and arrived in a few days. I was charged definitely the minimum transport fare.
