TERRIBLE, NON EXISTENT AFTER CARE!
Received initial email, thanking for order.
Had no communication for <4 weeks, I called left a message - no response, called again to be told order was waiting for one item, which may be another 2 - 3 weeks!!!
Final item then required further chasing.
Would I use again - NEVER!!!
Terrible, non existent after care service.

Hello,
We would like to make it clear that we have repeatedly tried to resolve the situation for the customer. The item ordered was one which is made to order and therefore has a production lead time. We did everything possible to make the customer aware of this ( and it is mentioned in the product descriptions ).
No item on this order was delivered later than quoted at the time the order was placed, we feel that this review is not accurate.

Black Swan Neck Outdoor Lighting.
Purchased 3 lovely Swan neck outdoor light fittings and the came within a few days.
They’re pretty unusual for this style of light as they can be easily converted to fit standard 20mm conduit.
The staff are very friendly and helped me with much needed advice before I made my order.
All in all a great experience and a lovely website.

I love my new basin
I love my new basin, love the style and quality. Delivery was very quick.
Only grumble was D&D’s reluctance to call back when you leave a message or to answer e-mails. I have taken a gamble and ordered anyway but would’ve liked to have a chat about a couple of queries

I finally bought some unique products…
I finally bought some unique products from Dyke and Dean after keeping a magazine clipping from the Guardian a couple of years ago. The ceramic designs , switches and lighting, are particularly lovely. I’m about to order two more ceramic light fittings as I’m so happy with the ones I have already.

Excellent and rapid delivery of this elegant compact gold and cream switch
Excellent and rapid delivery of a stylish gold and cream switch needed to replace defective switch for an Italian glass and bronze table lamp. It was originally purchased at Aix-en-Provence 20 years ago. Finding the identical switch seemed like a miracle.

Worst Customer Service Ever: Order of Adico Chairs from Dyke and Dean
Order of Adico Chairs
I am afraid you only get one star as the service I received was absolutely appalling.
I understand delays caused by Brexit and Covid, but having been promised on two separate occasions that my delivery would definitely arrive on the dates that you gave me, in time for a very important event, my delivery did not arrive in time. It was not only the fact that my chairs did not arrive on the date promised, it was the fact that Dyke and Dean staff had no idea on how to find out where my purchase was, when it was going to arrive (after being told dates) and you offered no pro active response. I had to keep calling you and when i got through nobody seemed to know what was going on or how to help me.
When I suggested for some sort of compensation (the delivery ordered in May was eventually received in Mid August) I was told that the "margins were too small" to warrant any compensation. By way of comparison I ordered a garden table at the same time which was also delayed, the company kept me informed and when they knew they couldn't deliver to my deadline they offered me a loan table and a discount.
When my order eventually arrived and was ready to be delivered I had to ask if they had been checked and if it would be an am or pm delivery again nobody knew anything. You only arranged curb side delivery and the courier company would not take away the packaging - again something the table company were only too happy to help with.
I am very pleased with the product but you have terrible customer service. I cannot imagine that a company like Adico would be happy about being represented by such a badly organised company.

I’m so sorry that you are disappointed with the service you received.
Unfortunately our ability to update customers is dependant on our suppliers, couriers and the information they provide to us. While Adico have been an extremely reliable supplier of high quality products their factory has been much busier that usual this last year, and due to Brexit and Covid there have been a few orders from Europe which have been heavily delayed due to circumstances outside of theirs and our control.
In regards to the free delivery service we provided, our dedicated delivery driver only delivers to your front door and unlike many furniture deliveries this order was only in 2 easily flat packable boxes.
I’m glad you are happy with the product and your event otherwise went well.
