BEWARE: Possible scammers

If I could give zero stars I would. Unlike other reviewers, I got my product. It basically sucks. HOWEVER. I bought it in March, was charged twice in March and once every month since then I've been charged roughly $40, right out of my bank account. I'm going to call my bank and see if they can do anything. If they can't i feel like a bunch of us should band together and pursue legal action.

Charged Again Without Consent – No Cancel Option, No Working Support

I placed a one-time order with DUSK after seeing an ad on social media. The product actually arrived, so I initially thought this company was legit. However, I was shocked to see a second charge of $29.99 USD (approx. $42 CAD) appear on my account with no explanation, no receipt, and no warning.

I never signed up for any subscription or recurring service.

I attempted to email the company using the same address that sends their marketing emails but it bounced back as invalid. I then logged into my account, which had no subscription info, no cancel button, and no way to manage billing. The settings page only lets you log out. Their site also claims there’s a cancellation form, but it simply doesn’t exist anywhere.

This is clearly designed to trap people into ongoing charges while making cancellation or contact nearly impossible. I’ve filed a dispute with my bank and will be blocking this merchant from future charges.

Avoid this company. They may send you a product, but it comes with strings attached and no real way to cut them.

Ordered 4 items in January for the…

Ordered 4 items in January for the bedroom. Including a bed .. never received the items until May! Between receiving the order it was virtually impossible to get through to customer care on the phone and emails were responding days later or not at all ! Then when we did get the items the one order was a double bed .when assembling one of the boxes was for a king size . eventually when I got through to them a new replacement box was ordered.. this is April were now in may and still haven't received anything. I've had a email saying I need to schedule my delivery on there calendar. The dates coming up are months away again. Tried ringing 3 times but no joy yet!!! Avoid using this company at all costs !

it was too good to be true

I should have known it was too good to be true. DO NOT get this shaver. I knew I had messed up as soon as I opened the box to an unbranded shaver, no sign of Dusk at all. Now I, along with many others, are seeing unorthorised payments. People are mentioning that emailing support is not working but I am not surprised, why would scams reply. Ladies, save yourselves the annoyance!

Call them and cancel the membership before it's too late!

Just remember to call and cancel the membership once you order, they charged me almost 60 extra bucks and I didn't even notice until a couple days ago. I called my bank for a new card and I called the company and emailed them. The process was frustrating and a little lengthy but they did give me a refund and I was grateful they helped me through the process though they did lie about me checking off a box for the membership... But I can say the customer service is pretty good, you just kinda have to get in their faces a bit. I got my money back!

My experience with Dusk couldn't have…

My experience with Dusk couldn't have been worse. I ordered my razor on April 13th 2025 and did not receive my razor until May 1st. In between that time, they charged my card an additional 29.99 for a premium VIP membership that they signed me up for automatically when I placed my order. Good grief. Emailed them and they canceled it, thankfully, but I doubt they would have refunded the money if my bank had not declined the charge.

For the razor itself, it is so bad. Battery life is trash. I had it charging overnight and using it today it was dropping battery life by the second. Less than a minute of use and it is down to 90 percent. It also misses so much hair, and does not do a very close shave.

I ordered and received a pink lady shaver from Dusk Co. It arrived not working at all.

I've emailed them 3 times. No response.
They could be much more communicative.
Just admit it was a crap piece of junk and give me a refund.
So many pseudo companies online just want to take your money with nothing offered.

April 11,2025 I ordered a shaver. It arrived yesterday. It's alright no big deal, cheap, but what isn't cheap is the 48.00 US dollar VIP membership that I did not sign up for. I emailed support twice and both have come back with undeliverable. I will be calling. As this is outright fraud and theft

If 0 stars were possible, that is what this company would be receiving. I should have read the reviews before making a purchase after seeing an ad on facebook. Unlike many others who have left similar reviews, I at least did receive the product I paid for, but at what cost. I paid 47 and some change for two lady shavers on April 1 2025. On April 16 I was hit with a 30 dollar charge to my bank account and when I called to inquire they claimed I had opted into a VIP membership. I can assure you I did no such thing, but they refused a refund. Almost a week later on April 22, I called because I had not received my package, however I was mistaken and it had been delivered I just hadn’t been to my mail box yet. I was eager for the product, however when I opened it to test it out, I was appalled at the HORRIBLE quality. It is lightweight, and very obviously cheaply made. The blades feel dull to the touch and when I turned it on to test it out on my leg, it left my leg feeling as if I hadn’t touched a razor to it at all. Obviously frustrated, I called and rudely demanded a refund, but was refused despite constant insistence. The representative said they could only offer me a replacement, but I did not want a replacement for the trash product. Upon more pushing, I got the representative to agree to refund me for the prior 30 dollar VIP membership fee. She agreed and I received a “confirmation” email. I have to wait 5-7 business days for it to hit, but so far after my experience, I’m not too hopeful it is legitimate. This company and its employees should be ashamed.

Same problem as everyone else I guess

Same problem as everyone else I guess. I ordered 3/4. Paid 24.93. Still haven't received anything from them. They have since charged my account 29.99 x 2. Overdrafted my account today. I see in the the fine print that it's a VIP monthly payment. That's so shady!! Stay AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Ordered from dusk beauty March 3rd 2025 confirmed that the order was shipped an here it is April 14th 2025 haven't received my order checked my bank account an they took an additional $29.99 I called them an they told me I signed up for the vip access at checkout with previous order I said no I didn't I would not sign up for that an I want my money back ! She says well I sent it over to the fulfillment team an you will receive an email of the refund ! Non customer ethics rude as hell ..DONT ORDER FROM DUSK ITS A SCAM !! I'm not getting my order or my money back they don't do refunds it's a shit ass company they stole my money 2 times !!!

Multiple charges to my account for one order

I ordered in early March. Paid by card the date I ordered and it cleared my account by the next morning. Waited and waited for my order. Tracking number sent to me never worked messaged customer service and never once got an answer back. Well last week they charged my card again got it resolved with my bank again sent message to customer service. Well I got my product today and yep you guessed right another charge hit my account!! I am going to my county attorney tomorrow. If you value your money and don't want multiple charges to hit your account then I would look elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM (TAKES FOREVER IF YOU EVEN GET IT & THEY KEEP TRYING TO TAKE $30 FROM ME TWICE

0 stars i ordered it on march 16th bc they had a deal i paid almost $18 including an extra $1 or so for package protection. i haven’t received my order yet & i’ve been emailing them just for them to take so long to answer. i emailed the customer service email they gave me on thursday & i’m still waiting on a response, my package info hasn’t updated since march 25th & it’s not even in english. when i go to the website to see my order it says that i have no recent orders which is NOT true at all, ALSO THEY KEEP TRYING TO TAKE $30 FROM MY CARD, THEY’VE TRIED BUT HAVENT SUCCEEDED, once & if i get my package I WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM THEM EVER AGAIN. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS & SCAMMERS.

Razor does not do its job

Razor does not do its job. Also checked my account and it says that $53 was deducted by Duskbeauty! For what?
I have no idea! I already paid for my razors. Do not buy from here!

If I could leave negative stars I would. They put way down in the fine print about some vip thing basically saying because you’re going to buy a razor from them once they are gonna charge you $30 a month. For what??? I already bought the damn razor. Which is not that great I might add. It’s no different than any other electric razor you can buy. Save your money, save your time. Dusk beauty co is a horrible business to buy from.

I wish there was negative numbers to…

I wish there was negative numbers to give this. The razor doesn't pull hairs however you have to go over same area multiple times to get hairs removed. The VIP membership is a HUGE scam why would anyone want to be charged $44 every month for option to buy same razor, also they state that they send email 5 - 7 days prior to taking money out but they do not even do that. They canceled the membership, but definitely not a company to deal with at all

Regrets

I wish i could give -1 or less than that then i would love to give that… both shaving razor not even circular shaving head nothing works… i m regretting that i waste my 26$… also I would recommend everyone before buying check the review first which i m regretting alot at this time… so for the company I request u that plz don’t make fool to customers.
