I had a very disappointing experience with DShop.

I placed an order on 4 March for two shag rugs and a TV unit. When the order arrived, the TV unit was delivered in an open carton with essential hinges and screws missing. I had to source replacement parts myself just to complete the assembly, which immediately raised concerns about their quality control.

The rugs were also nowhere near what was advertised. The product description promoted “sink-in comfort,” yet the base thickness is only 5 mm, making that claim unrealistic. More concerning was that the rug surface was extremely slippery, which is a safety hazard in a home with a young child. 

I contacted customer service on 13 March, but did not receive a response until 15 March. Their initial response was to classify the matter as a “change of mind” return and offer a gift voucher instead of a refund.

After some back and forth, they eventually agreed to provide a refund on the condition that I returned the rugs at my own cost.

Before confirming the return, they also required photos showing the items packed and ready for shipment. After I sent the requested photos, they approved the return and advised that the refund would be processed approximately two weeks after the returned package was delivered.

The returned package was delivered on 23 March, however since then customer service has gone completely silent despite multiple follow-up emails requesting an update on the refund.

At this point, it feels like they run a very coordinated and deliberate insincere business model designed to take people’s money while failing to provide the quality and service promised. There is no phone number to contact customer service and no direct email support. The only way to contact them is through their website portal, and responses take an unreasonable amount of time.

Love the product bought. Perfect for my needs. Had a tiny problem but dshop stepped up and dealt with it. Good experience. Would repeat shop myself and definately recommend this company.

Great experience all round

I ordered a 9x3m cover and it was 9x2m. I sent an email back regarding incorrect size to support email address provided and nil response

I got what I ordered and it came faster than I thought it would . Very happy thank you :)

Ordered two side tables. Had to assemble ourselves which was easy. They look great and very sturdy. Delivery was very quick, 3days. Was very pleased with the company and would gladly order again.

What they described as a plush, carpet rug (using doctored images) was nothing but a flimsy, cheap, thin, lightweight mat with no pile at all. It certainly can’t be described as “plush”. It’s more like some kind of thin exercise mat, or something to put under a microwave. Or spandex exercise gear. It’s shiny and has a cheap feel when you walk on it. It isn’t even heavy enough to smooth out the wrinkles from being rolled. Certainly not even worth the so-called “sale” price. I provided pictures and a detailed summary. After 8 days they got back to me and said there was “no product discrepancy”, but did not rebut any of the evidence I provided. They offered me a voucher which was the equivalent of 8% of the total order.

UPDATE: Their reply is disingenuous. After a week of dealing with their customer service, they determined that there was no discrepancy between their advertisement and the product, and offered me a partial refund of 10% in order to keep it. I told them that I don’t want their lousy product. I will take it to a charity shop. And they can stick their 10% partial refund. It’s a scam.

I ordered the hand made rabbit for Easter and I still have not received the stock order date 02.03.26. I followed up with them and they said it was in transit which says it’s in Melbourne for the last 3 weeks. It’s 10.04.26 today and still not received.

Simple and straightforward transparency is hundred percent

Very Bad Experience. Purchased a rug advertised as ‘lush plush’ with a luxurious feel, but the actual product is extremely flimsy and lacks structure—more like a thin mat than a proper rug. It can be folded like a bedsheet and does not match the description or expected quality. Despite multiple emails explaining this, the seller refused a refund and incorrectly classified it as change of mind, offering only store credit or return at my own cost. Very disappointing experience.

Very poor Customer service that didnt help me at all. Finally i requested my bank and explaned the issues and requsted for charged back. hopefully that works.

Very happy with purchases. I have four small pieces of furniture from Dshop. Postage was really quick. They're easy to put together and very sturdy. Happily recommend and will buy from again.

Great price for the product even with the delivery fee. It will be outstanding if you have a lower delivery fee or more discount for certain amount of purchase.

The price of the table was good andthe quality is good. It is very stable even on carpet. I did think thjat the $50+ was a little high however the table was well packed and protected for transit.

The package arrived earlier than espected.
All the parts were there and easy to follow even if
I had the Men's Shed do it for me.
They were happy.
It now looks lovery in my small lounge room.
Its nice solid timber too.

i have tried to be honest but you will drag it out you need photos of how thin the rug is you bloody sent it so you should know it’s like walking on my tiles that it was supposed to help make a comfortable feel underfoot it doesn’t all i’ve asked for is help i just wanted to see if you sell a underfelt i could place underneath it but i’m just being given the run around

The site was easy and reliable to navigate. The delivery was super fast and the product was just what I needed.
