I should not have been given a dirty car on the inside and out
I just purchased an automobile from your riverside store.
The team was very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable.
What I did not like is that they sold me a dirty luxury car on the inside and outside.
The exterior of the car and windows has so many dry hard water spots on them and I don’t know how to get them off.
When I drove home last night they so thick you can barely see through the windshield at night lots of glare!!!
The interior doors, seats, dash and console front and back were dirty from family use.
I know because the manager had a child seat removed from the back seat there were crumbs and smudges all over the interior of the car. I asked them to take the car to the car wash and they said it was closed and that I could come back another time and get a car wash but I live 50 miles away and although it is not a new car, it is a new car for me!!!
The chrome on the outside of the car was smudged because it was wiped with a wet rag and not dried off.
To be quite honest with you the car needs to be detailed and or clean and it was Not!!!
It was vacuumed and wiped off not acceptable for the rates that I am paying for this car!!!
I told the manager he told me that the city of Riverside will not let them use soap and water to wash the cars then he told me that the car wash was closed but that still did nothing for me purchasing a vehicle that is filthy inside and out!!!
I had to travel 50 miles home and I did not have clear vision on the road.
The exterior of the car is still covered in water hard water spots and I don’t know how nor should I be responsible for removing them.
Where can I go to get them removed
Where I do not have to pay for it!!!

Please know that all DriveTime vehicles go through an inspection, where they are detailed before transporting them to our sales lots. We would also like to note that most dealerships that do not have a detailing location onsite will have a mobile detailer routinely come in for any necessary touch-ups.
In addition to these coverages, we have a 5-day Vehicle Return Policy (VRP), which allows our customers time to inspect and get comfortable with their purchase. If they are not pleased with their vehicle, the vehicle can be returned within the first 5-business days (not including the date of sale, holidays we are closed, and Sundays).
We are sorry if the cleanliness of the vehicle you purchased was not up to DriveTime standards and left you feeling dissatisfied. Please reach out to our Customer Relations team at (888) 290-0148, and a team member will be glad to assist.
