Eric at DriveTime in Chesapeake, VA, went above and beyond to make our experience fun, seamless, and positive. The entire staff provided excellent customer service and there were no pushy sales tactics or "pushy" attempts to put us in something we couldn't afford. I'm truly pleased.

When I walked into Drivetime I was welcomed with warm smiles from Robert and another staff, I didn’t get their name. Robert then introduced me to Eric who was superrrrrr helpful with purchasing my SUV. I love being apart of the drivetime family as this is my 2nd car I have from them !

Angel was very knowledgeable of her job and very helpful. She has such a great personality.

Had car trouble with a previous other dealer purchase and came back to see Eric P. of DriveTime Chesapeake. He took his time and got us settled again. Lightning struck twice, we love our 2023 Kia Forte. Eric is our guy, we will be seeing him again.

I purchased a car from here a little over 30 days ago. The car gave me problems ever since I got it. My sales person Antonio did not respond to me at all and now the car is in the shop and they are telling me I need to figure it out. This is ridiculous. I am calling a lawyer because it is a shame that they only care about selling a car and not even a good car at that and taking advantage of people that come to get help from them. They should be ashamed of themselves. The fact that I am a single mother that needed help to make sure I had reliable transportation they can't even help or respond for the crap they sold me. At least take responsibility of the crap and make me feel helped or like I made a right choice to work with you guys. Now again car not working and crickets from everyone. This is not the right way to do business!!!!!!!!!!

So the Chesapeake location sold me a 2014 Buick Lacrosse leather on 4/25/2025. Nice car until three days later, 4/28/2025, the vehicle could not be driven. Haven’t even made my first payment yet and it’s currently in a shop with transmission issues. I have a warranty but why am dishing out money for a rental car before I even make my first payment on my own vehicle?

It was off to a slow start because I did not fully understand the process, so I became frustrated. When it was explained to me a little more clearly, then I got it. Then frustration kicked in again when my purchase had a glitch. I had to do some running around, which I felt was not my responsibility, but I did it because I wanted the vehicle. Lo and behold, after all of that, I decided to switch the vehicle out. Antonio remained professional, whereas I continued to show my frustration. I did not pick out the next vehicle; I left it in the hands of Antonio, and he did a fantastic job. I left there smiling and bragged all the way to my place of employment to all my friends and family. Thank you Drive time for making sure I was a satisfied customer and having an exceptional and knowledgeable employee.
