It took a couple of calls to resolve my issue and make a payment but this was due to the overdue account being my tenants - the letting agent passed it to me eventually and I was helped very courteously by Simon who assured me that the late payment fee would be removed and he would inform EON of why the payment was late through no fault of my own

EDIT: Just to clarify, I know my payment was received. That was never the problem. And to clarify further, it was not a 'payment reminder' it was an email stating I had failed to make payment and that my agreement had been voided. Whatever process broke down and meant I received a threatening 'failed to pay' email when I had already infact paid needs to be sorted. But just so you know, the impact of most problems can be lessened by having quality customer service. Your agents should be trained on their tone when providing support over live chat. I don't believe the customer is always right, but when they are, barely apologising and minimising their issue is very poor.

This company has the worst customer service I've ever experience. I had three dealings with them, two occasions were with an agent called Robson and this person is incredibly rude, combative and dismissive.
They sent me an email saying I'd failed to pay my agreed payment when I'd actually paid. I contacted them to enquire about this and Robson was completely downplaying their mistake, only just about managed a reluctant 'sorry,' and told me it's nothing to stress over. Diabolic customer service.

Clear and precise, finding my resolution to my So energy account, payment was unsuccessful but my understanding was it was me but I was assured it a IT issue from lady called Charlotte who helped me and informed me they will update in due course. I respect this company and want to pay my outstanding bill and I was assured it will be updated soon.

It was easy enough to set up but im not really impressed. It said they may require bank statements etc to "prove" my affordability because I wanted to pay £5 a month. Im sorry, who are you to tell me what I can and can't afford? I kept getting a suggest payment "your spare money a month is 14 we recommend a payment plan of 7" genuinely why should I give you half my spare money? You have no idea about my situation or my affordability and you have no right to ask for proof. I am telling you what I can afford. I am a grown woman, you dont get to decide what i pay.
