The delivery experience was great, communication was clear, and the paperwork involved was surprisingly minimal which made everything quick and stress-free.

Well, I’ve finally taken that ‘leap into the unknown’ and ordered an ⚡️🚗 EV - since I’m not reliant on range or re-sale value (because I’ve PCP’d my cars for the last 10yrs) I’m spoiling myself & ‘slowing down’ in my 70s to enjoy some comfort & luxury. I’ve test driven a Polestar 2 which I have to say was a huge disappointment 👎 (a cheaply made plastic-fantastic Volvo) then the BYD Seal-Excellence which was actually very nicely designed, finished & well spec’d - but there’s still the element of ‘uncertainty’…🤔 So I’ve gone full circle and returned to the brand I know & love so well and ordered a new BMW U10 iX2 xDrive30 M Sport.
🥳And so I have to comment on the exceptional customer service I have received from DickLovett BMW Hungerford. 👌It’s always so nice to be looked after and treated with courtesy, professionalism and a sincere & friendly welcome from all those I came into contact with… Thank you Tim, Stephen, Chris & Nick 👍 - I’m absolutely delighted & excited with my decision - it’s not necessarily about getting the best ‘deal’ it’s more to do with feeling you’ve made the right choice & that you’re satisfied with the

I was most impressed by the service I received from the salesman, Ben Ferris-Pulsford. From the time we had initial discussions to the point when the car was picked up, he was immensely helpful. The handover was made easy & incident free which was important given the distance I was from Bristol. A very positive experience. I can highly recommend Ben.

Where do I start sales person Lewis excellent very helpful couldn't fault the man.After the sale is where it has all gone wrong trying to get a accessories to have a top box fitted wrong parts given no response when ask for return phones calls on top of that starting problems with the bike I am seriously considering returning the said bike back to you under the 30 days faulty goods act.For a supposedly professional company I find it very unprofessional and would be very reluctant to use you again.

Arrived on Saturday, no booking. The showroom was very busy and all the sales personnel were very busy. Phil Sterry from the Service department came over and showed me round. Moved bike so I could sit on them. I was very impressed with Phil and returned on the following Tuesday and bought a new motorcycle. Matt and Adrian were very helpful in the sale, both were extremely knowledgeable and assisted me with the extras. Phil was the major factor why I went with D Lovett, thank you Phil.

I booked a test drive for a used ipace. I wanted to do it today (Friday) but the sales chap wasnt available but offered saturday first thing in the morning which wad fine for me. One of his colleagues sold it today to another customer. I am very disappointed. I will go elsewhere with a more reliable sales team.

I’m extremely disappointed with the experience I’ve had with this dealership. I reserved a car through their website, only to be told afterwards that the vehicle had already been sold and the website hadn’t been updated. What’s particularly frustrating is that I had to chase this myself by calling the dealer. I would have expected them to contact me as soon as they realised the error.
Trying to move forward, I increased my budget by over £2,000 to consider alternative options that were listed online, but I was then informed that several of those vehicles were also not actually in stock. Even more concerning, many of these cars are still showing as available on the website, including the car I reserved, with the option to reserve or even proceed to purchase, which feels very misleading.
To make matters worse, I later found the dealership was closed for the bank holiday, yet there was no indication of this on their website or even on their phone system. This lack of basic communication is unacceptable, especially from a main dealer where you would expect a much higher standard of service.
Overall, a very poor and frustrating experience. I would not recommend relying on their website listings or availability without confirming everything multiple times.

Nice experience. Test rode a couple of bikes. Received a fair price for PX. Collected new bike 10 days later. All staff friendly and accommodating. No pressure, very relaxed.

A great buying experience for our new RR Sport. Jake made the whole process work seamlessly and speedily, including a late change of specification. Jake is a real credit to both Land Rover and Lovett’s.

We travelled from Swansea to Bristol specifically to view a vehicle for which we had placed a £500 deposit, based solely on a video that had been sent to us by Kevin. Unfortunately, the condition of the vehicle upon arrival was completely misrepresented. The video did not accurately reflect its true state, and it was in far worse condition than suggested. As a result, we made the immediate decision to walk away from the purchase and requested that our deposit be refunded as soon as possible, given that £500 is a significant sum of money.
The deposit had been sent via bank transfer and was received by Kevin within minutes. However, as of today (Tuesday), the refund has still not been received. We later discovered that Kevin had only just initiated the return transfer and advised that it could take 5–7 days. I made it clear that this was unacceptable, as the original payment reached him almost instantly, and we expect the refund to be processed with the same urgency, especially as we are actively looking to purchase another vehicle.
During a follow-up call, a colleague named Molly joined the conversation and was notably unhelpful. She insisted that a 7-day timeframe for refunds was standard practice, comparing it to retailers such as John Lewis. I challenged this, pointing out that this situation is entirely different, as the payment was made via direct bank transfer, not through a retail payment system, and therefore should be returned in the same manner and timeframe.
Additionally, shortly after I made the initial payment, Kevin sent a message congratulating us on our “new car purchase” along with a finance agreement for completion. I had to immediately intervene and clearly state that we would not be completing any finance documentation and that no finance application should be made on our behalf. We had only agreed to view the vehicle to determine its suitability, not to proceed with any purchase or financial commitment.
Overall, this has been a very poor experience, both in terms of the misleading representation of the vehicle and the handling of our refund. Given the condition of the car they attempted to sell, the level of service we have received is unfortunately not surprising.

My purchase experiance was very dissapointing, not what I was hoping for or expected from a BMW dealer. Poor communication, left me having to repeatedly chase them up rather than having them contact me back. Upon delivery motorcycle was not as described regarding specification. One issue not resolved until I said I was going to reject and return bike. Salesman always polite tho.

Cribbs Causeway branch. D. Lovett. If I could give them 0 I would. Had my car over 7 months ago and said they could replace the bumper after it was hit by a third party. This meant I didn't need to have my car written off. After no initial contact from them (until I chased the matter up myself) I was given a wait until March for the part to come in. Then after waiting all that time got another email to say the date had been pulled and they now didn't know when or if they could get the bumper in. In the meantime I have spent out on repairs and an MOT which were unnecessary if the car was to be written off, which it would have been in the first place if Dik Lovett hadn't promised something they couldn't deliver. They now refuse to offer anything towards the costs incurred so I am at a loss. Shambles of a garage and will be looking to take the matter further
