It was great to speak to someone who asked what we were looking for and helped us create just what we needed

We came to buy a sofa and coffee table,we were served by John who was very helpful and he gave us all the information.

We deal with Reece at the store
He was very knowledgeable and not st all pushy. Initially we could not find a solution. But after consideration and the great customer services we returned and went through our requirements. The greatest asset was he listened to what we wanted and today we have ordered two sofas . Cast of £4 k so no small purchase A 10 out of 10 experience

Great experience at DFS. The sales lady we think was called Alisha. Very professional and went through things in great detail. We had looked online but decided to go to the store to see which corner settees would fit best and also which were most comfortable. We were shown different options such as with an arm which we would not have thought about if bought online. We had a great experience in the Northampton store and really looking forward to receiving our new sofa

Firstly, we are loyal to DFS, having bought all our suites with them, over the last 25yrs.
Our last buy was about 10yrs ago with an exceptional lady, Tina, who is now the manager; no surprise.

As always, we went to view & after a brief chat with Harry, (Northampton), he left us to browse, with the occasional check; no pressure.
We finally decided on our new Suite & Harry got down to business, he was was very helpful & extremely knowledgeable.

We had such a lovely experience at DFS, all thanks to Reece! From the moment we arrived he made us feel completely welcome, even bringing us hot drinks which were incredible! He was so thorough with his demonstrations, talking us through every detail so we knew exactly what we were choosing and how to care for our sofa... something that would normally be very boring to listen too, he made it interesting and fun! We had a genuine laugh with him throughout, and it never felt like a sales pitch, just a really enjoyable and relaxed visit.
It's a rare experience these days receiving such high quality customer service and it really made that whole 'new home, new sofa' shopping day a lovely experience and some beautiful sofas we cannot wait for!!

Purchased a sofa in March 2025 it’s now sagging and looks crap on all sofas even the cuddle chair we don’t use had an supposed upholstery expert around stayed 10 mins and said that’s how it is deal with it DFS now want another £100 on top of the £3200 to put it right then sent an email saying if you buy and fit it and it sags with a year we will change it GREED comes into mind so I visited the the store had an argument with the manageress and told to leave store just in case another victim might hear my dispute I am absolutely disgusted with not only the customer service but the CEOs office once they have your money even when you pay all the insurance there not interested so BUYER BEWARE READ ALL THE REVIEWS FIRST because if I did I would not step foot in that place worst experience of so-called customer service I have ever and to complain to the CEOs office and they are just as bad if not worse obviously DFS will miss the £100 to put it right they would rather put profit before customer satisfaction

The customer service I had from Elisha in DDS Northampton was fantastic. She was really helpful and very patience with us even though we took a long time to decide.

Reece took the time to explain options clearly without any pressure, and made sure I chose something that suited both my home and budget.

I have always brought my sofas from DFS due to their comfort and longevity. The staff are brilliant- approaching to let you know they are there but not circling around you as you browse; and for me that’s how I like to shop. When I was ready to purchase a sofa the staff where there to support both in terms of advice and thorough knowledge of the all the products available to me.

Good sofa for price no problem with delivery, bit of a wait from ordering to delivery but was kept updated regulary so 5*****

We have been buying from DFS for 30 years, every four years we go and buy another one and I normally go for the most expensive in the store.
On the most recent purchase a couple of years ago, from day one the cushion that you sit on collapsed... Basically it sunk and never recovered its form, so you just slid into the cavity. Since that first moment, its needed replacing 4 times I believe… the original, plus three more (Inc current)… and everyone had done the same, just collapses... And this was a £5000 sofa.
It is done it again, but because it is now outside of the two years manufacturing us warranty, they have said I now need to fall back on the insurance that we took out with the sofa. So, they just pied us off for two years, waited until the warranty was up... And then kicked us into touch.
I have to say I am pretty shocked without experience… Needless to say I will never buy another thing from them again.
It was removed as a product pretty quickly after we bought it....shocker...
