After visiting my friend, they had just brought a new sofa from you, so i knew exactly what I wanted, when I entered the store I was greeted by a friendly member of staff which said please feel free to have a look around but please give me a shout if you need any help which I do like rather than being bombarded with questions and unnecessary attention I do not need. Once I found the sofa I wanted I asked George to come over to discuss the finances on the sofa, George already did my friends sofa and done such a great service. I couldn't have wished for a better sales man and I was so happy with my experience and would recommend dfs to anyone.

Sian was a tremendous help today. not pushy, we knew exactly what we wanted and she went with it. No messing. So helpful and efficient.

Excellent visit to this Cannock store at the weekend, from start to finish we found the staff friendly not over powering but approachable offering help or advise when we needed some information etc.
Hakeem sorted our purchase out in a professional smooth manner and it was a pleasure doing business with him! a credit to DFS! I would recommend going to this store!

If I could give no stars I would. We went into Cannock branch to order a new sofa, all was good at first. We chose a sofa we liked, measured if it to see if it would fit in our room, we went home to check again. We then went back to the store and ordered a smaller sofa. We looked to the best of our ability to see if there was enough access. We were assured that the delivery team are experts in getting sofa’s into awkward rooms, we have limited access which we shared with the salesman. We had two failed deliveries both times our freshly plastered and decorated rooms were marked. We don’t blame the delivery team, they truly tried their best. On the first attempt the sofa was put into the back of the lorry uncovered as far as we know. We were concerned about what condition it may be in if they try to deliver it again. Taking the living room window out was suggested by them, our window is bonded in so that wasn’t an option. I then had a conversation with Ian from Cannock branch regarding the failed deliveries, he was asking which part of the sofa didn’t fit. I was trying to explain to him and he asked if “ I wanted him wanted to speak with my husband “ I couldn’t believe it, I found this very patronising and rude. We are after all in 2026 not the 1950’s. We ended up going back to the store and spoke with the manager to ask what our options were. We were told that we can either choose another sofa, we couldn’t find one and to be honest we were worried that we might have to wait weeks again and for the same thing happen again. Our other option was to have a refund less 20% due to them having to sell the sofa on. It cost us £530.00 in the end. I will never return to DFS and strongly advise people to think twice about ordering from them, they put all the blame on the customer. We really wish that we had read the reviews before ordering from them.

No pushy staff, when we did need help there were plenty of staff to help out. Hakeem was great at talking us through the options and completing the sale.

Let down told us it would be express delivery it would take a week not one person been in touch really disappointed with company never use them again still waiting for someone to get in touch with us

Fantastic service in-store when ordering my sofa. Due to delays in the moving process, the team were so helpful in arranging to hold my sofa for as long as possible before my moving-in date once the sofa was ready. Their communication throughout was brilliant, and a delivery date was swiftly organised ASAP. My sofa has now been delivered (I love it!), and the whole process was handled excellently - thank you!

George was incredibly helpful, efficient and welcoming. We weren’t bombarded with salespeople like in other stores we visited, but were seen too quickly. Great customer service.

George was very attentive and knowledgeable. Friendly, but respectful. Nothing was too much trouble. Gave us the right amount of space to talk in private, but right at hand when we needed him.
