I had a very disappointing experience with this company.
I booked a taxi in advance, and the booking was confirmed, which gave me the confidence that everything was arranged. However, the taxi never turned up. This left me in a very stressful situation as I had my 82year old mother with me and it was extremely cold.
What makes this more frustrating is they were recommended to me by my hotel, so I trusted that they would be reliable. I was at no point made aware that the taxi might not arrive. Only afterwards was I told they have a disclaimer on their website that says they might not have a car. This surely defeats the purpose of booking a taxi in the first place.
I understand it was a busy day due to events in the area, but that was exactly the reason for booking ahead.
Based on this experience and their lack of empathy after the event I would not recommend or use them again.

Booked a taxi from Manchester airport to Liverpool and the overall experience was excellent. The booking over the telephone was easy, very friendly and pick up instructions were clear. Driver called and said he was there and gave clear and precise information for the pick up. Driver was friendly and the taxi was clean and spacious. Excellent customer service.

I previously used Delta taxis for two journeys without problem. However, the other day, I phoned and booked a taxi about an hour before it was needed. When it was about 10 minutes late, I phoned to ask where it was, and was abruptly told that they were still trying to find a taxi. When I asked why they hadn’t phoned me to tell me they weren’t able to provide my taxi, I was told they weren’t allowed to phone out from their call centre.
Waste of space.

Booked two rides a few days apart, one to Fact Picturehouse cinema on Thursday and one yesterday to Metropolitan Cathedral. Both arrived on time. Drivers friendly and talkative. Taking taxis at the moment because I've an injury to my foot, but I wouldn't hesitate to book a taxi with Delta in the future.

This was our first time using Delta Merseyside the driver was brilliant curious careful driver as snow starting to fall and lots if traffic after football match he was On time waited for us as confusion as to which entrance being picked up well done 👍 I guess it is down to to the Driver but in this instance really pleased 😀

I got picked up by karaoke cab ! This driver turned my whole day around! Always amazing service 10*****

Been a priority on the app for years but lately gone downhill average waiting time 20 mins and Everytime pre book no show also a short journey the driver made me feel uncomfortable very rude it's only over the road he said and moaned cos they dnt charge when waiting in lights or just waiting that's why we're too cheap his words and one time my card wouldn't work so I said I'd ring Delta and sort payment but it wouldn't let me into account tried new password nothing also I always tip driver but I've jibbed the app and won't be using again I shouldn't have to give the postcode to a place don't they pass exams anymore and know all the roads in not doing there job for them.

Appalling service and attitude to customers. I pre-booked a taxi and it did not turn up. I called alpha and was told they had taxis in the area and would send one immediately. Driver who arrived said several drivers were just sitting off with no customers. The 15 minute delay in taxi arriving (which only happened then because I rang them - twice) caused us to miss our connection yet company refuses to acknowledge they broke their contract despite confirming pre booking. Very poor service which means I personally would never use them again.

I have always had a great service from Delta, they are always on time or near abouts. I have got rid of my car recently. I don’t have all the hassle of maintenance to a car/insurance/MOT and can just get driven about by Delta. 🙂

We have had an account with Delta Taxis for a number of years now. Never experienced a problem when ordering a cab, always courteous and efficient. Driver turns up on time and sends a text to passenger to let them know they have arrived.

Liverpool is a big, busy city and demand for taxis, especially at peak times and on match / concert / event days can be very high, even flagging a black cab.

Yes, there have been times when it's been a long wait, but if they can't come to you in a certain time frame, again, you see this upfront on the Web page

Brilliant service wouldn't be able to get to work without it and access to work

Order a cab last night somehow 2 turned up, one shouting for me to get in his taxi, the other one that was the correct taxi was right behind. I got in the taxi & when I got to my destination he said £4 I give him £5 he had the change in his hand and has I put my hand out for it he put it in his pocket. Being a women on my own I didn’t want to say anything. This company has gone downhill. Most of the drivers haven’t got a clue where they are going, they are rude and now keeping my change without me telling him to. I don’t feel safe in delta taxis anymore and need to find a new taxi firm to use

The location for my son & his support worker was a trip to the The Everyman Cinema Whitechapel Liverpool. He said there was know cinema there. It's been open since 2018. They need more training. They had booked to pay by card. He wanted cash. My son then became anxouse & this spoilt his day.

Beware of the liars on the phone that tell you your taxi is next on the system, this company takes to many bookings for the amount of drivers they have, 1.5 hr wait after booking a taxi extremely early, ended up getting in to work extreamly late yet again, while kept getting told I’m next!
Delta has had its day now about time they stay in there own area as they will loose all their business telling customers lies so the drivers stay on their books, meanwhile everyone else is loosing their job thanks to delta sending a taxi when it’s convenient for them.

I just wanted to take the time out to compliment the loveliest taxi driver I have ever had. He was so pleasant and respectful. I had ordered a cab before him and they went to the wrong address then put it down as a no pickup. I rang and booked again and this man was lovely so respectful and honest. I wish u had more like him. Not the clueless who have to rely on either the passenger or a sat nav and can’t speak a word of English. Remember ur routes and don’t let people down with your greediness we all know u rinse the dwp for advances have some integrity u slug. 🐌
