Diabolical service! 9 weeks of absolute chaos from Currys! 5 fridge/freezers that either did not work or were second hand!
I wouldn’t advise anyone to buy anything from Currys!

The lady who served us was very helpful, we have bought a fridge and a freezer off her this year and she is very helpful and informative with the delivery process.

I received no email or text to say when I could pick my item up....I spent 2 hours trying to call the store ialsocwent online and followed the instructions and phoning the number online and could not get though to anyone....in the end I visited the store and surprise surprise my item was there ready to be picked up I asked why had I not received a message or email ? the staff member didn't know why ? service absolutely 💯 diabolical, staff not knowledgeable enough and very standoffish when questioned. I will not be using Currys again

The adviser I went to was very helpful and knew his products. Two advisers previous were busy and I had to search for people to help me.

I had a really disappointing experience with the customer service at Currys in Worcester. I purchased a freezer online and it was delivered on time, but I couldn't fit the handle. When I went to the store for help, the staff were completely unhelpful and refused to contact the manufacturer. I had to contact the freezer company myself, and they came the next day to fix it. Currys provided no support at all; it was a really poor experience.

Our order was ready for collection on time, which made everything nice and easy. The staff member who helped us was really friendly, helpful and very patient while I tried to find my order details. They made the whole experience stress-free and pleasant. Thank you for the great service!

On entering the store, I noticed 4-5 staff members who appeared to be just standing around chatting. Customer Collections desk was unmanned. I rang the bell and waited. Despite being seen by a couple of the staff, it took a while for someone to come over. Staff member asked "Waiting for a collection?" to me standing at Customer Collection point! Staff member went off with my name and I waited, and waited, and waited. Over 5 minutes later, staff member returned with my small light. Quite unprofessional service. And they wonder why people are shifting to online purchases!

Oh my God, where do I start!
We went into Currys back at the beginning of August 2026 to purchase a fridge freezer for my son. The staff in there were useless at providing any assistance!
They had very little on display so we opted to go online to purchase one.
After careful consideration we ordered a fridge/freezer and paid our money.
Delivery was predicted for the following Tuesday and the unit did arrive. The two chaps delivering it changed the door from right to left on the pavement outside my sons house. They were using an impact driver to take out and refit the screws holding the doors. Very unsuitable for the job where a simple electric screwdriver would have done.
Anyway they got the unit into my sons house and left, taking away my old fridge and freezer as agreed and paid for.
A couple of days passed and the fridge had not gone cold along with the freezer door not fitting properly ! On the phone to Currys! They agreed to swap the unit for another. The exchange unit arrived and was put into my sons kitchen. well, that one didn't work properly either! So once more on the phone to Currys to get another one. The replacement arrived and upon inspection on the footpath outside my sons house it appeared that the door of the freezer didn't shut properly so that was rejected. Once more on the phone to Currys! They arranged the delivery of a different model of fridge/Freezer. That arrived last Tuesday (now 7 weeks into this saga). Turned it on and after 2 days it hadn't even got cold! Once more on the phone to Currys and now they almost insist it's out of the 30 day returns window and that I've got to contact the manufacturer! My son sticks to his guns and demands a full refund after all this messing about! When asking for some kind of compensation he gets offered a £20 gift card for Currys! He promptly refused that offer. Now we wait to see if we can get a refund!
Well it’s now 7th October which is 2 months since this whole lot started! Still no refund ! Been on the phone several times and get told ‘the refund takes 14 days’! They had the last machine back for over 14 days and promised a refund in 5-7 working days! We ordered a fridge/freezer from AO dot com on Monday 5th Oct which was delivered yesterday 6th Oct and it works! This is the last time I will ever buy ANYTHING from Currys! Another point regarding the faulty Currys supplied fridge/freezers. When every one was delivered, non of them came with packaging materials. No plastic film on outside of machines. No packaging on the inside of the machines. It was almost like all the machines were actually second hand! I suspect they were actually machines that had been returned previously because they didn’t work. The machine we’ve just received from AO had plastic protective film on the outside and all the shelves inside were secured with tape to stop them moving in transit. The freezer trays were taped in place. Almost proof that Currys were supplying second hand machines!

Straightforward ordering an oven
- I had researched and knew what I wanted. Chose a Monday as thought it would be a little quieter. All OK but did feel that more staff were needed.

Bought a mobile phone as old one was playing up ( years old) only bugbear I had was you had to buy a charger seperately when I bought my old one it came with charger and lead. Anyway, sales assistant was fab knew what she was doing in transfering everything over ( which I had no clue how to do) which by the way used to get done same day you bought, now £20 for a seperate appointment, so took 3 days to get the phone...doesn,t make sense to me. But she was lovely so I stuck with it, and at the end came home happy. But currys need to train the store manager where I bought from, to speak to his staff a little kinder. 10/10 for Angel the assistant.

Our printer had a blue screen so need a replacement
Hammid if I remember gave lots of options and great advice on the printers and ink costs
Would recommend Worcester and their staff

Very disappointing visit to Currys Worcester. Staff refused to let my daughter try on the two Apple Watch sizes, and all the display iMacs were locked and unusable. Poor shopping experience.

Purchased on 11th couldn't collect until after 4pm on 14th.. within a week of collecting it the price had gone lower by over £100, But wasnt allowed the price promise due to being past 7 days from Purchase date. Even though only had the laptop for 6 days due to not available to collect in store until after 4pm on the 14th. They wouldn't allow the refunded amount of the difference in price.

I checked online to see what ovens were available to collect and ordered through the website. The price was competitive. Within an hour the oven was available to collect. When I got to the store the process to get the oven was quick and 2 members of staff loaded into the back of my car.

Spoke to a friendly advisor, Dom. who was extremely helpful and did not try to oversell. He knew what we wanted and helped us to place the order

We had a good experience. The sales executive was really excellent. He was so fast and never made us wait and his attitude and behaviour also very nice. Thank you.
