The assistant that served us was not very helpful we did actually purchase a tablet but while being served he was yawning throughout as if we were boring him. I certainly will think twice about purchasing from curries again.

St John’s Retail Park, Wolverhampton
Went into the store St John’s Retail Park, Wolverhampton, with the idea of purchasing 2x laptops. Found the laptops that we liked, paid for these to be ordered to store to collect. No problem. We were told that we would be notified when they arrived - no notification arrived via email text or phone. Phoned customer services who advised that the laptops had been delivered, subsequently went into store 2 days later to be told that no laptops had been delivered to store. A few more days passed and I phoned customer services again to ask for an update on the delivery to store. Customer services advised of the same that they did on the first phone call. Went to store to collect and was only able to collect 1 laptop as they had sold the other one to a member of public without realising… so despite paying for the laptop they were not able to provide the good. Surprisingly now that the laptop has gone off offer, they are unable to get any stock into store and have only been able to provide a refund. 2 laptops brought, 1 provided and now looking elsewhere for another laptop which unfortunately will not be the same spec for the price due to Curry’s not fulfilling orders!

I was looking to purchase a Lenovo…
I was looking to purchase a Lenovo laptop - the store had an extremely good choice of laptops and my only recommendation would be to have each brand displayed together, rather than all types randomly set out. The sales advisor, Abraham, was really great - helpful, friendly and with good knowledge. The product I chose was available in store and the purchase was quick and simple.
However, when I opened the box at home I found there was no battery charger included. I phoned Curry's helpline who checked and confirmed there should have been one included and advised me to return to the store with my receipt and I would be supplied with one. I did this as instructed and was told that all new laptops no longer come with a battery charger! I understand the reasons for this as explained by the lady on the returns desk (sustainability and environmental issues and also a reduction in cost for the manufacturers!) but I was cross that nowhere in the store is this drawn to customers' attention and also the fact that the guy on the helpline did not appear to know this either. Therefore I had a wasted journey to the store and an extra cost to purchase a battery charger.
