Curry’s do not give you a VAT receipt…
Curry’s do not give you a VAT receipt at point of in store purchase automatically - you have to ask for it. Not do they ask if you would like one. If you don’t remember to ask at point of purchase, the ‘helpline’ then tells you the only way you can get a VAT receipt is by going back in store!!!!! After insisting I wasn’t going to do that they then said that if I phoned the ‘helpline’ back 48 hours when their systems updated, then they would be able to do it for me. What a joke - so much for the digital age. Will not be buying from Curry’s again - useless

Not all delivery experiences are this good
The driver was nicely on time and gave me a 5 minute warning of arrival, which was very nice. The two gentlemen had the washing machine up my stairs and into my kitchen in a minimumof time and with absolutely no fuss. The general manner and friendliness of both was simply first class and I could not have asked for anything better.
This was very much in line with my in shop experience which was equally painless and professional. Well done Currys.

Paid for installation
Paid for installation, left with an unfinished job
I paid £115 for installation of an integrated fridge freezer specifically so that the job would be completed properly without me having to manage the process myself.
The installation could not be completed because the team did not have the appropriate wood needed to level and balance the appliance. I have now been told that I may need to source and pay for the wood myself, then rebook another service visit to get the installation finished.
What is particularly confusing is that I was informed that teams in other parts of the country carry the appropriate materials in the warehouse and on their vans, so I am unclear why the service appears to differ depending on location.
I have also received multiple messages asking me to rate my experience, despite the installation still being incomplete. I paid for a complete installation service. I do not think it is reasonable that I should now have to source materials, incur additional cost and organise another visit because the installation team did not have what was required.
At this stage I simply want Currys to take ownership of the issue and contact me. I have written and awaiting reply.
