Currys - Solihull Recenzje 

I am still trying, after 12 months, to get Currys off my back. I bought and paid for a dryer in October 2025. I have proof of purchase. My bank has supported my case against them.
Last week I had a letter of apology plus a cheque for £100 in compensation. I thought the matter was finally over. Today.....yet another letter from the legal team at Currys saying I must pay for the dryer. I am taking the case to the Financial Ombudsman and also wonder if Martin Lewis may be interested in the case, which at the heart of it, is about harassment and incompetence. DO NOT BUY FROM CURRYS!

The assistant was very helpful and had a good understanding of the type of laptop that fulfil my needs, didnt need an expensive one, very happy with tge laptop I purchased

While the purchase was ok,I do find some times that the sales people can be a little bit pushy of which some people may be put off.

The sale was great, straight to the point and focused on my product requirements and budgets throughout. Not pushy and made it an easy transaction.

Despite a long wait for someone to see us, when they did they were very helpful.

We purchased an American fridge freezer and was told by the sales assistant that one of the ones we were looking at , there was £300 cash back on it. So we decided to buy that one as the £300 cash back made it cheaper than the other one we were interested in. However on trying to claim the £300 cash back , we discovered that it was up to £300 cash back and the model we had bought, you can only get £50 cash back on it and this can’t be claimed for until November , which is two months away.
Therefore the shop assistant told us false information, so I not happy at all

The member of staff who served us, seemed totally disinterested in the sale, only when challenged about offers did she suddenly remember that they were on offer, otherwise I believe we would have deliberately been paying full price.
Very unimpressed with their attitude.

Had what we wanted at a good price delivery included and within a couple of days ofpurhase

I ordered an electric single oven from you on Wednesday 16 September and requested a collection option as stated was available on your website advertising but in reality your website stated delivery only so had wait until Friday 18th September for the earliest delivery date. Today is 18th and I was extremely disappointed to receive an email from you this morning to say you wouldn’t be delivering the oven until Sunday 20 September. When I contacted the customer care service I was unable to understand what he was saying as he spoke very poor English and he obviously couldn’t understand what I was saying. In fact he kept saying I was talking too slow?!! Eventually after much confusion I managed to get the delivery date changed to Saturday 19 September (fingers crossed it turns up).

We arrived at Currys with a list of simply provisional ideas and a hope of getting some stress off our chests as i was looking for household essentials for my new property. We were welcomed by a staff member called Nishaan. This young gentleman did not only take away our stress but made our small vision achievable we came to currys with hope and left with a car full of essentials with that also being at such a cost effective price. I am so greatful it was nishaan who made this experience and plan so smooth and timely. This gentleman had fantastic customer service skills

The assistant was texting on her phone while we were discussing different freezers. She was unable to answer question as to whether or not Curry’s could find a silver coloured chest freezer for us. Not very professional image.we will avoid talking to her again if we intend to purchase from you in the future. Delivery driver was on time and polite.
