Disrespect in the Cheltenham store
I visited the Cheltenham store to purchase a mobile phone, I stood by the phones for approximately 10 minutes. Getting bored I stated to look closer at the phones I was interested in to check some of the features. Curious about a little yellow button on an empty display I pressed it and an alarm went off. someone rushed over to turn it off, eventually asked as a passing comment with his back towards me if I wanted help, I said yes, he started walking away saying he was busy dealing with someone and would a colleague to help me.
I waited a further 10 minutes he walked within 10ft of me at least three times, I watched him interact with a pink cased tablet in the middle of the store, suggesting to me he was a manager. I would have expected him to briefly explain everyone was busy and he would get the next available colleague.
I felt he didn't care, I was a nuisance and wanted me to leave. In the end I did, and decided I would be a nuisance and pressed the yellow button on every empty display as I left. As I got into the car I could see him and several others quickly approach the mobile phone display.
I understand the shops can be busy but I do expect this to be explained in a respectful fashion and people to face me when talking to me. The disrespect I eventually should be clear from by description of events and action.

Visited the Cheltenham branch recently
Visited the Cheltenham branch recently. Really miffed that I spent half an hour getting my contract sorted (after driving home to Stroud to get ID/card), to be told AFTER the credit check and removing my Google account from phone (ready for trade-in) that they couldn't order the free watch and the only way to continue was to forfeit the free gift. Now my credit score has been impacted for a product you couldn't even give me. Really disappointed. Last experience of Currys was buying a TV (offer 5 years warranty on the brand when purchasing but have zero proof of that anywhere, doesn't say on receipt etc, let's hope we never have to cross that bridge), guy asked what we mostly use TV for and I said Spotify and Nowtv and was sold a brand you couldn't get those apps on! It's one thing wasting my time, it's another impacting my credit score by doing a credit check on a product you couldn't even provide.

I went into the store to purchase a microwave oven. There was a good selection but there were no sales assistants. After approx 10 minutes I saw an assistant on the ground floor. I waved at him and he came upstairs. He was very efficient when he arrived but the wait was not acceptable. Several other customers were irritated by the lack of staff.
