Mark was amazing ! Could not have been more helpful.

I went into the Chelmer Village store on Monday, looking to buy a laptop in the £600 range.

I spent 15 minutes looking at the laptops on display. I wanted to talk about making a purchase, but only one person was covering the area. They were talking to someone else. After 15 minutes of not finding anyone else, I gave up.

Found a similar product for less money 100 yards away at Argos. Slightly better processor, same RAM and same SSD as the one in Currys. The prices would have been slightly in Currys' favour, but Argos had a £100 reduction on the laptop model and included the charger that Currys would have made me buy separately. Someone came over to offer assistance while I was comparing the specifications to what I'd seen in Currys to ask if they could help. They brought it out 5 minutes after submitting the order.

So a better machine, for less money, in less time, with staff who actually engage with customers.

They used to say "Currys - we can help". Now they don't seem to want to.

I bought an item as a display model as I desperately needed an under counter fridge with a sizeable freezer section. I paid full price as it was still current model and they wouldn't discount. Because it was not listed in stock I couldn't use top cashback or NHS discounts etc. It came with no packaging, no securing of internal shelf, compressor protection and no instructions. It's grubby and lightly dented. The glue from the labels will require white spirit or similar to remove. The staff where friendly and did help to move the item into the car though.

Easy to order online - and quickly got a message to say my order was ready for collection.

Only let down is two members of staff walked past me when I went to collect - they walked over to other colleagues and were quite happily having a chat rather than serve me.

Really helpful, knowledgeable staff member. She gave a clear recommendation, sorted it all out quickly and efficiently.

Staff welcomed us as soon as we entered the store, got served straight away and it only took a few minutes to collect our online order.

Online order arrived a day early. SMS notification had all the info for collection. Easy to find the click and collect desk. Was asked what my order was, I guess so they could locate it quickly based on size, which they did. The system took a few tries to find my order which was the only delay. Staff were all friendly.

Staff are very helpful and ordered unavailable product.

The people who delivered and installed the freezers were very good. Pleased with the one in the kitchen.
The fitter was very precise. The one fitted in the garage is a bit wobbly. Worried it might fall, but will see how it is when full.

I recently bought a new printer from Currys because the old one was no longer working. I am very pleased with it and also the good customer service from Mark and the others.

Needed to buy a new chromebook. Waited a little while to be seen but a nice man radioed for someone to help. Harry was polite, friendly and helpful we got a good deal and some extras thrown on for free.

Very good service in store efficient and knowledgeable. Delivery was on time and delivery men very oblidging

The staff were extremely helpful. They located my delivery in the warehouse and confirmed that the motherboard was brand new and had been fitted. Their clear communication and careful handling made the process straightforward and reassuring.

I am very pleased with the repair work carried out on my gaming PC. The service was professional, and the computer was returned in excellent condition. Overall, I had a positive experience.

The Lg tv I purchased was good value and staff mainly Kate were attentive at the Chelmsford store.
