I have used Currency Solutions since emigrating to Canada 19 years ago, their service is probably the best I have received from any company in my lifetime.
The Customer service people who answer the phones are courteous and very helpful, they call you back if my phone drops the call immediately. The staff on the exchange are really helpful, Leigh Gillis usually handles my trades, calling or emailing back as soon as they are free depending on how I asked to be contacted. They are very friendly and accommodating to some of the problems I had with my UK bank, extending the deadline for the transaction and holding the exchange rate for me until the transaction was completed 5 days later.

A truly professional service with a personal touch!
I have been dealing with Currency Solutions Ltd since early 2025.
At first I was a little nervous about sending money abroad, not knowing where it was going and how the process worked. I visited the manger John Bassett at their offices in Cyprus, who immediately put my wife and I at ease.
He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and introduce us to staff.
He talked us through the process and the online platform which does take a while to get used to.
The team follow up with telephone calls (whom are always very polite and helpful) to ensure we are happy with the service which is very reassuring, and we always have email confirmation of transactions, and at a very competitive rate.
Currency Solutions Ltd were highly recommend to to us by very reputable lawyers in Cyprus (the proof is in the pudding), and numerous others.
They are there to walk you through what can (and is still) a very stressful time, taking away some of the concerns when purchasing a property abroad. Always on the end of the phone and via email, English speaking which always helps and a uk telephone number.
I highly recommend using them, I feel safe in their hands.

I found currency solutions to be friendly, efficient and reasonable priced. If I had a question it was answered promptly. I was able to deal with one member of staff and not get bounced around the office pool. Which is always a bonus.

CS are a testament to how business SHOULD be done. I had a lot of money to transfer given I'm an expat returning from the U.S. to Ireland. Paul Radford and team were outstanding in their communications and support. They explained the process, locked in a good exchange rate and ran a test transaction to make sure the money left my U.S. account and into my Irish account before doing the larger transfer. They made the whole process so easy and their personal touch is one in a million.
In a world that has no shortage of financial cowboys, these folks are absolutely trustworthy and genuine human beings.
