Flaggers who otherwise furiously remove any ad within hours seem to freeze when faced with Gay content. Its bizarre. Every section is full of gay ads lasting WEEKS sometimes even MONTHS without getting removed. But the moment you make it clear you’re a male for female you’re lucky if your lasts more than a few hours. This proves many flaggers must either be gay or feminists or a mix of the two.

Secondly people who spam post the same ad multiple times never get flagged either. Its like flaggers get too tired to remove these ads so they leave them alone. WTH

I was trying to post a free dog on Craigslist listed all the things about the dog and everything like that and then Craigslist removed it and don't explain why they do it so I unsubscribed Craigslist app and I will never use them again and won't recommend them to nobody.

Leeds Craigslist is absolutely rubbish. Been trying to find Home Care on there. Flagged before it’s even published. Site is absolutely empty. Won’t allow anything on. Flags everything. May as well pack up the site. Totally a waste of time. They should stop this silly flagging thing.

Theft they take people's money and ban them for no reason after following all there guidelines.

Got Scammed. This website is basically you gambling your money because some things are legit but most are just scams. My family lost $500 bucks from this site. DO NOT USE!

This Landscaper (Mike St. Clair dba All Saints LLC on Craigslist) came out to do a pool preparation on my property on Saturday May 14, 2022 for the amount of $1500, He started the project knowing the ground was soft and soaked from all the rain we had. He tore up the area surrounding the site. He dug out area of the pool and came to a very soggy wet area of the site. He then put down a "Filler Sand" which is NOT for a pool. He assured me he would bring in a good quality sand. This sand has 1/2 to 1 inch pebbles and we found broken glass. This contractor has on his Craig's list website he would not charge until the job was complete and 100% satisfaction. Since the area was too muddy he said he would return but wanted an additional $800 to clean up the ruts he made and would not replace the sand unless I paid him extra. He even said at one point just before he left he would not even charge me for that day until he was done! 10 minutes later he is asking for $1500 in CASH! I reminded him of what he just said to me and he threw a fit. I went in and handed him $500 CASH and a $1000 check. He said he would return when it dries up. The following day we found glass in the sand and told him. He said it's ok, we will be buring it. I decided to stop payment on the $1000 check and sent him an e-mail I wanted the sand replaced, and the yard to be brought back to original. He was furious. Said I was trying to rip him off. Saying he would file a lein. Then told me to never contact him again! Today I received several text telling me he should come out and fill area in, and he hoped my pool sank. Called my GF and I "Trailer Trash" Not a very professional attitude! I did have another landscaper out and he felt the sand was definitely not sand for a pool bottom and agreed pool wall supports needed to be on firm ground which Sinclair said no, he could fill in with sand! All I wanted from this guy was to remove bad sand put in mason sand and repair damage to my yard!

I will keep this sweet and short. I would never recommend anyone looking for caregivers on craigslist. It is a awful place to try to find quality people anymore. I have wasted money. Altogether, I posted 4 times and did not get one good Candidate. If you're looking for a pickup it's more of a Multi purpose site. People think it's a scam when you post a job.

An oldie, but a goodie. How are there this many bad reviews, its a free website... this is why we can't have nice things people. Craigslist is a timeless gem, an internet classic, and the internet wouldn't be the same without it.

I posted ads providing cleaning and cooking services. I also posted ads to model for artists.
The ads have been flagged but didn't mention anything inappropriate in the ads.
But they allow certain ads to stay that are clearly indicating sexual encounters.
Some people are able to post a ton of ads in the same category. You probably miss the legit ads surrounded by a ton of the same ad.

Now that Carvana has started posting on craigslist, it's essentially a subsidiary of Carvana. The posts are 80% Carvana and the vast majority of those cars are already sold.

They just need to remove the Private Seller category because it's all thrift store dealers and businesses posting in there anywhere. They are just posting as many times and every day when they want to anyway. Pet sales in every category, there are no rules.

I'm angry. Craigslist has become bias. I can't post it been 2 years now the email claims my account been on hold all this time. I just need to know why and remind them this is America not 1930 Germany. I want to be unlocked so I can post without people being butthurt

u dont want to trust Craig's list alot of scammers on there people which like to screw with other people also I wouldn't recommend this site for anyone. your better of going to a store or online but definitely not this site. for anything.

Personal ads are gone. Can't find the poontang no more. Craigslist is useless now.

This website is a joke.
IN every category there are sex requests and a serious company can't post anything. Admins are another joke and they never respond to complaints.
Better avoid to waste time on it

used to be a good site for selling, now they have stupidly made logging in more difficult than it should be, sometimes you have to receive an idiotic text, other times you have to go to a top secret, james bond link-merely to renew your posting! idiotic and pointless, have a question for customer service? forget it-they don't exist

I made alot of money in the car sales industry with craigslist from 1999-2019. It has been a treasure hunt to stay within their guidelines so my ads aren't auto deleted but it was amazing for 20 years. Adding the $5 charge for posting a car was actually a good move and eliminated almost every scam ad. I changed to Real Estate sales and Craigslist's auto-deleting is out of control. I was really doing well for a month then everything started getting auto-deted. Once deleted it's nearly impossible to post the same ad for a specific house back onto craigslist. I considered myself an expert on Craigslist with 20 yrs experience. I tried some of the former work-arounds but nothing was successful. One thing is definitely true-Craigslist is anti-business period and has been for quite some time. If you are making money and/or generating leads with Craigslist it's only a matter of time before they will pull the rug out from under you and you. NEVER depend on Craigslist as your main source of income. Just when things are going well, suddenly you will no longer be able to feed your family because Craigslist doesn't like your ads. In Real Estate, post more than 8 ads and they not only delete the 9th ad but begin to delete almost ever ad after that even if you've deleted all of your previous posts. You see, if you post more than 8 ads you may become more successful and THEY DON'T LIKE THAT! You are taking up too much space on their website and THEY DON'T LIKE THAT! If you want to message them, forget it. You won't get a response. There is NEVER an explanation other than the automated read the user terms. I would be fine with a charge for every ad above the "8 ad" limit. Unfortunately they have paved the way for others to do the same. Facebook bans are getting out of control, Youtube and Google are also trying to catch up. It seems Craigslist is absolutely determined to eliminate the scam ads but is just accepting the deletion of 90% of legitimate ads as collateral damage. I'm a firm believer to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This has no place in the Craigslist society.

In less than 5 months I had over 350 for sale posts flagged on Craigslist I emailed Craigslist about it dozens of times. Craigslist never answered npr did they stop the flagger. The for sale posts met evry Craigslist rule but still Craigslist did nothng. My life was even threatened on Craigslist but Craigslist did nothng about it. I have contacted state senator Markey in Massachusetts about this and I have asked him to summon the ceo and owner of Craigslist for investigation. Craigslist flagging policy is dangerous and it circumvents the Constitution and the Bil of rights. NO company should have the right to set policies that welcome the disrespect for free speech. I ask that all reading this write their senators about this Craigslist blog. Craigslist has now put my account on hold after many years that I have used it. Craigslist has caused murders due to their policies and should be made to pay for it. Join me please and write your senator now. Let's get rid of Craigslist.
