This company is an absolute scam! Don’t purchase any form of insurance from them! I purchased insurance for two concert tickets for my daughter and I and on the way to the concert we ended up with a nail in one of my tires. We were unable to keep it filled with air after this which made it unsafe to drive the rest of the way to the concert for safety reasons. I filed a claim immediately with proof of the nail in my tire and they said this type of incident isn’t covered with the insurance I purchased. What’s the point of purchasing insurance if unforeseen circumstances like this aren’t covered for some reason they probably made up to deny my claim? No where in any of the wording does it say something like this isn’t covered by the insurance purchased. My claim was denied after the event had passed making my tickets non-refundable through AXS-USA as well. Absolute waste of money! Won’t ever purchase insurance through this company again! I do not recommend anyone purchase any form of insurance through this company ever!!

Update: I responded to an email you guys sent me with my claim for this incident being denied. I sent over the information requested as well as screenshots of my insurance purchase, purchase date etc.
Hopefully this can resolved because this is definitely a very upsetting experience.

We booked a trip bundle on Priceline and bought the embedded'XCover' to protect our trip medically and funds in case anything were to happen we could get refunded if a cancellation were to happen
The trip is coming up in 10 days, we both are diagnosed with Covid since yesterday, we can't seem to use the form to file a claim at xcover./claim and the phone support is not live representative support. Priceline has been dishonest, dispondent and driving this customer crazy.

Be very careful! Pets are NOT considered family according to their rules and regulations. I unfortunately had to cancel my trip due to the fact that I had no one to care for our pets(FAMILY) due to unfortunate circumstances at the pet care facility. We lost over $1200 and paid for the insurance for this purpose. I’m still hoping to get reimbursed for this.

We purchased a trip through priceline\armed forces travel and opted in on the "travel insurance". Well, the first thing that happened is our bank contacted us asking if a transaction for this insurance was fraud. Priceline\armed forces travel never disclosed they would be charging us additional through another vendor.

It gets even worse! This company has NO PHONE NUMBER. What a great way to help out customers.

Wait, there's more! Travel insurance only covers health\medical. Nothing else!! So, its NOT travel insurance, it's "travel health insurance" - which is completely fraudulent. This was not disclosed prior to booking.

And...without their fake insurance if you cancel in my circumstance they charge you one room night for it.

Paid for flight protection insurance for a priceline aifare. Become ill, canceled flight, within 24 hours of canceled flight, I went to emergency room at nearby hospital, was diagnosed with COVID-19, medical physician wrote a letter recommending a few days of isolation. Xcover denied claim. Saying outside coverage time-frame. My protected flight and ER visit occurred within same 24 hour time frame.

My brother purchased additional coverage on booking.com and now that he had to change his reservation date due to medical emergency they aren’t there to help start a claim. It seems as if this is one big scam or they are just making it difficult to communicate with them in hopes that you will give up and not actually open up a claim. Very disappointed! it is not an insurance company but gives the impression of being one

I haven't had a great experience at all with this insurance cover as a business owner. Had products delivered with significant damage to a large number of items and yet not able to claim the cover amount as per the insurance certificate/policy. I haven't been able to get a response or contact anyone regarding a breakdown and or reason for the minimal figure then offered.

I got insurance for a trip in mid December of 2024. My wife is pregnant with a due delivery date of 12/23. These geniuses refuses to reimburse a single cent of the insurance coverage despite 6 months heads up, and a doctor's proof she was pregnant. Their response was their insurance doesn't cover normal pregancy only complications of pregnancy. The company is tone deaf and doesn't care about you, the customer. They just want money. Did i mention this is 6 months notice from the actual trip taking place?

The comment about complications requiring hospital admission is comical. If my wife has pregancy complications requiring a hospital admission, the last thing i am going to worry about is the insurance claim. Tone deaf.

I want every couple who is even considering growing a family to stay clear of this insurance company because if you are pregnant and have to cancel, good luck.

I got a flight cancelled by EasyJet and submitted all information to the claims center. They keep on asking for the "cancellation reason" and that's why they don't want to process the claim. Easyjet gives no reasons, they just cancel and let you figure out how to get back home.
The WORST insurance experience I've ever seen.
Stupid emails back and forth through a form with the worst customer service on the other side.
I'm still fighting through the form submitting all the sms I got from easyjet, flightstats, the cancellation mail, but CoverGenius is sooooo genius they won't pay until I get WHY Easyjet cancelled.
Do NOT use CoverGenius unless you want your bad experiences to double: once when your carrier cancels and second when your insurance turns their back on you.

Catastrophic. Have not been through worse. I have a claim for 1500 eur and they send me more and more things that they want. Have been sending in everything they asked for, but they just send the same question again and again. Revolut, which I pay for this service, is not taking any responsibility for this at all, just send me to Cover Genius again and again.
It’s been going on since 6 months and it’s really frustrating the whole time. Think I was in the chat 10 times with Revolut and sent in new documents to cover Genius 6 or 7 times.

Travel Insurance provided was not worth having. Submitting details of claims where you need more assistance and all you get is an AI generated generic response.
No phone numbers and impossible to speak to a real person

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - IT IS FRUDULANT! I urge the FCA & CAA to look into this and i will be passing my case details onto them, Ryanair flight was delayed more than 7 hours, Ryanair had to send another plane from Copenhagen as the original plane was faulty, other Ryanair flights was leaving Goteborg on time and without delay, this company is faceless and no phone numbers to talk to anyone, hides behind a website full of lies, 95% of claims paid in three days, don't make me laugh its been 21 days and you have even replied. so people don't use this product,

I bought insurance with a rental car booking. I got this insurance covered by RentalCover.com (Cover Genius Canada Inc.)
When I went to pick up the cover, the person on the counter said this company does not provide coverage to our cars.
I ask what should I do at this time now.
He said: "You can cancel this booking and you will get a refund, and you have to make a new booking
Now this was way more expensive than the original but since I had no choice and had to make a new booking at that time, it was around midnight.
Now I am trying to get a refund from this company RentalCover.com ( Cover Genius Canada Inc. ) but it's a horrible experience. the person on the other side named Gene, makes false promises every time saying my supervisor will contact you. but no one contacting me. in fact I don't even want to get contacted, I want a refund, that's it.
Now I am spending hours and hours on it, wasting my time, and energy and at the time it's too frustrating.
It's hard to talk to this agent Gene, always trying to avoid issues and questions. not answering full questions and giving diplomatic responses. and saying "Sorry" Now what I can do with his sorry? I don't need their sorry.

My payment failed due to bank error and I have been offering to give a new account number and all I have been told is I will hear back from payments. Nobody has responded to me in a week. This is via XCover.

Please give me an alternative way to receive my claim payment. I feel like they don't want to give me the money and all I keep hearing is "Support will get back to you."

Buyer beware these people are scam artists and will take And promise you insurance protection, and when it comes time to file a claim and get what you have paid into, they will come up with every excuse in the world, and request every type of document under the sun, and then proceeded to deny your claim buyer beware buyer. Beware, this company does nothing except give empty promises with poor people, paying into a protection plan that they think will pay out for them when or if the time comes and this company is not that company. This company will take your money, then deny your claim and then not give you a live person to speak to and just play games. As far as communication goes there’s never a life person to speak with do not purchase insurance coverage or insurance protection from this company you will only be disappointed.

Car rental policies are a scam. Booked a car via Ryanair site which then offered full cover for the car via rentalcover.com which states it is cheaper than the rental company. It was cheaper, but it fails to clearly point out that for your cover to be valid, YOU HAVE TO BUY THE BASIC CDW COVER FROM THE RENTAL COMPANY. So the are flogging you insurance to cover a windscreen and tyres. All other stuff is covered by the rental company insurance you have to buy anyway.

The team at Rental Cover were amazing with our insurance claim. We were unfortunate to have been in an accident in a rental car and they were extremely supportive in assisting us to get our claim sorted. It is unfortunate that they don’t have an incoming phone number to contact them, however I found them quick to respond in calling me back if I sent them an email. I would highly recommend using them as an insurance company!

Easy and responsive process which is simple to follow. Good updating through the process and requests for proof of evidence are reasonable.
