My experience was absolutely excellent. Bought a bosch washing machine, which was tricky to install into a tight space. The delivery staff made a super human and professional effort, managing successfully. I believe other companies might have given up.

Several days later the machine began making a worrying loud banging noise during spinning. I contacted Co-op who were reassuring, efficient and very helpful. They arranged for collection and replacement of the machine without hesitation. This replacement is working perfectly.

I cannot praise Co-op enough. Would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Worst customer service possible even from manager.
Ordered Bosch dishwasher, after two days it packed up and after two separate days in for a Bosch service engineer was told a replacement machine has beencleared with Bosch so contact Co op for a replacement contacted on the Friday to be told I would get a call back on the Monday which never came called back on the Tuesday and after a 25 minute wait on hold Got put through to a customer service agent who was bordering on rude when I told her I’d been waiting for 20 minutes and after explaining that I was told to expect a call yesterday was put on hold for a further seven minutes Then told me she had spoken to the relevant department and they would call me back later that day so I asked to be connected to a manager who finally arranged a replacement for four days later. When I received the first new dishwasher I of course filled it with dishwasher salt and rinse aid which I have now been totally wasted and when I asked the manager if he could possibly send some salt and dishwasher rinse aid out I was refused which I find absolutely shocking considering They delivered the machine that didn’t work I wasted two days in with a Bosch repair man then was told I would get a call one day which I never did so I like to ring back the following day and wait 25 minutes on hold before my replacement was arranged. NEVER AGIAN WILL I SHOP WITH CO-OP ELICTRICAL AGAING AND PITTY ANYONE ELSE THAT DOES

Bought a coffee machine at a very good price with extra discount as a Co-op member. Delivered the next day, tracking was excellent and I was notified of a 1 hour time slot. So delighted with my purchase and will go straight to this site for any electricals in the future.

Update I have been corresponding with them via email regarding a faulty appliance, ref COOP612352, the situation was quite frustrating .

I am updating my review with regards to the above. The situation has been resolved amaicably with no need of further action.The customer services this time have really "stepped up to the plate"

After care is useless and very straril manager Craig Arnold refuses to talk to customers.
I brought a fridge when it was delivered it was left in my living room when asked if it could be put in to kitchen was told they dont do that.when fridge was left in my living room my floor was damaged.i called up and reported this issue stright away as well as fridge was dented. Few days lated fridge stopped working i reported this as well.i had to keep calling and chase up what was happeing. Was told damge was being looked in to.i wss told to send email and pictures i had sent 7 emails asi was tild meny times that they did not get email.finaly i sent it to chris email i he revived i.when the fridge was collect a guy came sayingnhe was the delivery manager and he was sent to look at damage to the floor he looked at the floor and also took pictures. I did not hear anything back or get my refund as i was told i it would take 3 working days .it took a month to refund me after i called so meny times to chase it up.every time i called to chase up the dmaged floor ibwas told i need to email this and that then i was told i reported to late by Craig. I then sent screen shot of the emails i sent in July 2018 then. I was told to send a floor plan when i sent that i had to chase up again.then to be told its rejected as i reported too late.i asked to speaknto craig he refused to speak with me as i heard him say to the person on the phone i dont want to talk to him ,and the phone was put down.
This extraordinary bad customer care. Better to go to a high street store,pay a bit more and deal with managers who are not scared to talk to customers.

Ordered a fridge freezer from this website. It was delivered and I requested the product to be left in the garage as we were having building work done in the main house. Upon completion of the building work, we moved the fridge freezer into the kitchen, to unpack it and discover significant damage - scratches and dints.
Upon informing the coop, we were essentially told it was not their problem as we hadn’t reported this damage within 7 days of taking delivery. Customer service response on email has been absolutely abhorrent, even to the point that they haven’t even responded to my request of details of their complaints or escalation department!
Buy from this website at your peril!

I purchased a Samsung NU557100 tv after finding the best price via pricespy to be from co-op. Everything was great. Lots of email comms. Text with delivery slot and even arrived several minutes early. 2 man delivery crew so was handled with care. TV itself is superb.

ordered a tv, they tried to deliver at 7am, phoning me at 6 something, of course I didnt answer, who phones you before 7am. So the TV wasnt delivered, £35 to get it resent. I asked if it could be delivered you know after sunrise. They said nope, we have no control over delivery time, and they can deliver any time from 7am to 7pm. I'm a night owl, at 7am I would have been asleep for 3 hours max. not happy with their customer service or delivery system. I understand that some people would want it delivered before/after work; but surely those people would request that!

Terrible experience, sent out a Hotpoint dishwasher that did not work at all, left us a week without replacement, rude & unprofessional treatment on the phone, wouldn't tell us amount of recompense until new machine here (wanted to know as had seen same dishwasher £50 cheaper so could have just sent it back and got refunded). Fitted new dishwasher then told us only £25 compensation, at that point leaving us no option but to accept.
Sloppy, couldn't care less attitude and no help when you have a problem.

These people are rip offs I bought a smart TV off them and its faulty and still has its warranty and they refuse to help or even fix it the customer service rep was very rude and kept speaking over me I would not recommended this company as they sell faulty goods never again will I buy from them

My washing machine has stopped working and my oven is on its way out, so I decided to take advantage of the January special offers. I placed my order with Co-op, payment was authorised but no order number or confirmation email. I checked my bank account to see the transaction was pending. The next day it was still showing as pending so I emailed the company. 24 hours later I received a reply telling me to contact my bank. After various calls to both bank and Co-op, I got the teansaction cancelled and went to place my order again. But of course the special offer had ended and my order would cost me £70 more. I called the customer care line to see if they would honour the offer as it was their fault the order didn't go through (my bank confirmed they had authorised the payment) but of course, despite the 24 hour delay in replying to my email, they wouldn't honour the sale price, offering me £25 off instead. As a hard working mum of 3 kids, every penny counts, I'd also booked the day off work for delivery before I realised the payment hadn't gone through.

Wish I'd looked at these reviews before, but naively I believed that the Co-op were a trustworthy and reliable company, not any more, avoid them !

Bought a dishwasher from Coop and arranged deliver 2 weeks inadvance so that it could be delivered on a Saturday. Had a phone call after the time slot, too be told that they can't make it. Told that the driver hadn't turned up for work. Really poor service and would recommend buying electrical items from elsewhere.

Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews on this site until I was waiting for a dishwasher to be delivered. I had been given a one hour delivery slot which had passed and I needed to pick my daughter up from school.
The email advising delivery didn't give a contact number - I eventually decided to ring the co-op sales line and was told that they had just found out in the last five minutes that the deliveries were running 1hr 40mins late.
On the way back from collecting my daughter I received a call from the delivery team. Unable to dischipher what was being said I drove the last 2 mins to my house to see a white van travelling at some speed in the opposite direction. A few phone calls later the van came back and they set about unloading. Unsurprisingly the dishwasher was badly damaged with the whole of the front door bowed. The driver seemed surprised when I asked for a refund not a replacement! Like many of the previous reviewers I feel saddened that what was once a reputable, dependable company is failing so badly. Another customer lost!

I purchased a television two years ago but it blew up and no longer works. I have been advised by my local Trading Standards that it should last up to 5 years. The Co-op refused to do anything about it depite numeroius complaitns to customer services. I even advised them, in writing, of the advice from trading standards that the retailer is responsible and not the manufacturer. On top of that the Co-op gave me simply wrong information, which they have now admitted, for the company to contact. As a long term shareholder of The Co-op I am shocked at the unprofessional and illegal attitude of the organisation which over the years myself and my family thought to be trustworthy. I suspect that my next action will be a civil claim through the courts. DO NOT BUY FROM THE CO-OP YOU WILL REGRET IT AS I HAVE.

Purchased Classic Electric Cooker in November 28th 2017 And after a month or so it started to wobble because the feet are not very strong I think. I rang up the Co-op to tell them about the problem and I should not have installed it. All had to do was ask electrician I know who was working here at the time to put piece of wire on it which he did and and I gave him a 4 pack for Christmas. All I had to do was push it into place and adjust front feet but they will not send anybody out to look at why the cooker will not stay steady on its feet. They now want me to take a picture of the feet which means me to pull out the cooker and turn it over . I am 71 and cant walk far as I am suffering from pulmonary Fibrosis which means I am weak as a kitten so I just cant do that. I thought I would be best to take out the extended guarantee which cast more but they say say thay does not help in this case. Terrible service and will never buy any thing from the COOP again except perhaps a loaf of bread or bottle of milk. John.

When buying a good name like Miele from an excellent name like Co-op, you feel you're in very good hands. Sadly this is no longer the case! As soon as my Miele Complete C3 Cat & Dog Powerline Bagged Vacuum Cleaner's warranty expired (not cheap at £240.00) it decided to fall apart - through no fault of my own, clearly a manufacturing fault. Upon contacting Co-op's Customer Care, I was overwhelmed by the assistant's handling of the matter: applying a rather nonchalant response featuring zero common sense - quite unbelievable. Did it matter who was at fault? Why did the product fall apart? Why wasn't the customer wasn't happy? No. Warranty was expired, pass on to Miele - end of conversation. She simply couIdn't get me off of the phone quick enough. In short: she dealt with the matter in the most narrow sighted way a person could. Will I ever buy from Co-op ever again? No. Will I write a negative review of my experience for many many others to read? Yes.

A word of warning to potential Co-op customers out there:
CO-OP'S CUSTOMER CARE REALLY DOESN'T CARE.

I ordered a dishwasher from the Coop online as I thought my old one had broken down. My old one then started to work properly again, so I cancelled my order to the Coop the day before it was due for delivery. They were brilliant and cancelled the order and the money was refunded the same day! What a terrific service, I have brought from the Coop before and been very pleased with their service, but this was above and beyond. My dishwasher is on its last legs, so when it finally goes for good, I will definitely get my new one from the Coop. They definitely rate 10 stars!

ordered beko washing machine on line very easy was given time and day for delivery and removal of old unit was rung 10mins before delivery to check and they arrived on time very helpful driver and mate just cannot fault this company also no problems with appliance will use this company again and just cannot understand the negative comments

We were delivered a fridge freezer and a cooker. Despite co ops claims that they take away all the packaging the delivery men refused to unpack them stating "can you imagine if we actually did take away all this rubbish we would need s compacter on the van" thry then told us how to unpack it and recommended leaving the polystyrene on the bottom of the fridge because "some of the council houses have uneven floors". We are disabled and so we struggled to unpack them ourselves and we put the packaging in the tiny shed we have out side. We rang and complained and were granted a "team" to be sent out to collect the packaging. The team refused to go near the shed. The "lady" on the phone was obnoxious and then said " I'm terminating this call now I have said what I had to say"
The electrician who came out to fit the cooker (sent by co op) shouted at us for not unpacking it in advance and then unpacked it violently leaving one of the knobs permanent bent.
The fridge is also damaged as the freezer door makes a crack every time I close it.
I would avoid.
