The guitar came with a snapped toggle switch. Which I suspect was caused by packaging moving about during transit. But it was an easy fix
Luckily the guitar came in a case else there could have been further damage.
Overall I’m happy with the guitar.

I messed up. Coda sorted it. Props to them
I messed up and had to cancel a guitar purchase order at short notice. Coda contacted me out of hours the same day (late Friday) and resolved the situation with no fuss or complaint.
Thanks guys. I won't forget this and will be back to buy a guitar from yourselves in the future.

A nice way to acquire a new guitar.
A visit to their Stevenage acoustic shop was a pleasure. An amazing assortment of guitars were available to try out with the minimum of fuss. In the end I identified what I wanted. Went away, had a think about it and came to a satisfactory agreement, the guitar being delivered in good shape in a timely manner. Very happy with process and end result.

I paid for a guitar (Gretsch G6636T-RF)…
I paid for a guitar (Gretsch G6636T-RF) and later I got the message it couldn’t be delivered because it had a bad neck. The problem for me was that my money was locked for 4 days. I know this is a standard procedure but I would really appreciate if the quality check was made before payment is done. As a customer I feel that this is all your fault but I get no compensation, despite the fact that I wasn’t able to use my money elsewhere.

Hi. Thanks for writing the review. You ordered the guitar on our website, that same day it went to our technician to be fully setup and checked over prior to dispatch. It was identified as having a severe twist in the neck, and we decided to return it to the manufacturer. It is unfortunate, but we are not the kind of store that will simply ship a guitar we are not happy with. We emailed you that same day and asked if you would like to wait for a replacement or have a full refund. You replied asking for the refund, which we processed, but as you say, banks take 3-5 days to return money. We dont agree with this, but there is nothing that can be done, it is totally down to the banks.
It would not be practical to fully setup every guitar before they have been ordered I'm afraid, we do check them over when they are delivered, but they dont go to the technician until the order has been placed.
Sorry we couldn't supply you a guitar on this occasion.
