Hotel Club Mac Recenzje 

THE GOOD,

The kitchen and dining staff were friendly and the food wasn’t bad for a 3 star. There were plenty of choice but had to queue at times if not down early enough. The best restaurant to eat in out of the three is definitely Jupiter.

Free entry to the hydro park is great and a nice escape from the hotel grounds and so is the free bus to the beach every half hour return, again a great escape to the beautiful beach and harbour.

Our hotel room was nice but small, with a tiny balcony. We had a room facing the back of the hotel facing the mountains and the hydro park, it was nice and quiet which we preferred. The cleaners however, just made our beds and emptied the bins. No cleaning mirrors or mopping floors or proper cleaning of bath/shower and toilet.

THE BAD
The very first sight we saw on our approach as we pulled up to the hotel was two of the staff snogging eachother at 2pm in the afternoon. We stood at the reception desk to check-in only to be told we had to pay a tax and a deposit for these cards which we had to exchange at the bar for our plastic drink beakers which we had to do throughout our stay. Lose your plastic beakers then lose your deposit!! We were also told our room wasn’t ready for a few hours!

Whilst waiting for our room we took a walk around the hotel grounds and disembarked on what looked like a butlins holiday with a stagnate boating lake, a run down park and fun world. Looking around you could of called it “ Club Chav”! Now I’m not being snobby as I’m far from it, I grew up on a council estate. The worst thing was to greet us was the stench of cigarette and vaping smoke, it was literally everywhere. There was meant to of been designated areas for this, yeah right!! Maybe that was the attraction for the Club Chav customers and the “all you can drink watered down drinks” whilst kids were left to run feral not knowing where their parents were half the time! One night a guy waded his way through “chav city”shouting “has anyone lost any kids”!!!!

Someone in reviews said the burger bar by the stagnant lake was amazing? I was looking forward to gourmet burgers, the cheap McDonald’s saver burgers taste better! Staff there had no personality and chucked the orders together of the lovely selection of burgers, chips, hotdogs & chicken nuggets lol!

The entertainment we never stayed up for as it was on at 9.45pm in the arena near “Mosquito City” by the Lake. We played pool with our boys aged 9 and 11 and played the arcade games so take plenty of extra money for that lol. In fairness the boys enjoyed doing that and there was plenty of pool tables and mini arcades games. Evening bar staff were quite moody.

We was reluctant to sit around the pool areas because of the stench of cigarette and vape smoke, the beach and the hydro park was definitely a lifesaver. Alcudia Market and the old town was nice and lots of nice little restaurants there if you was self catering ect.

THE UGLY
Our youngest caught Hand, Foot & Mouth disease and was quite poorly for a few days, spending a full day in our hotel room with a temperature and sickness, no wonder they was squirting hand sanitizer on you as you entered the dinning areas maybe they knew it was going about ! Our eldest then caught it on our return home.

Towards end of our stay we were greeted by a big rat running around the hotel grounds however the hotel is surrounded by wasteland and it was the end of season and not many people left in the hotel as it shut on the Tuesday (it was Sunday) and rats are not daft and it was probably their time lol. After we checked out waiting for our coach to arrive we sat on a bench near the exit and our final site was a mass pool of sick which was as much accommodating as our initial approach to the amazing world of “Club Chav”! It’s definitely a world of it’s own and if you like a good drink and a smoke and let the kids run wild, Cub Mac is the place for you. I would return to Alcudia but never again to Club Mac, although we did make the best of the situation.

One final word and this comes from a review we read where someone really enjoyed their many stays at Club Mac and return every year….in their words and this phrase we kept repeating many a time and always will, lol “CLUB MAC, YOU’VE DONE IT AGAIN!!!” well you have got to laugh 😂 🙏

Poorly run place rude staff extra charges all the while teling you things are free then try change you for them example €5 if you want a sit down in the water park was supposed to all inclusive what a croc of ##it we will never come to this island agin or club Mac

I have just returned 2 days ago . I went for 6 days with jet2. I got a solo discount for my room. I had arranged to meet friends there. Including 2 special needs adults. They had a great time. They loved the shows. they were treated respectfully by the staff. The food was good and there is something available from early morning to the burger bar at midnight. The place was very busy for October. Mostly families with small kids. My only gripe as a disabled 60yr woman is, that out 8 swimming pools I couldn't get in or out of any of them because the access is all straight up ladders with none of the pools with a slope or steps.
Bring mosquitoe repellent. Oh boy! They were relentless. Not so much in the rooms but specially in the circus area by the lake . The security was visible and any small sign of trouble was dealt without escalation. You've got to expect an all inclusive resort to have daytime drinkers. I felt it was a safe environment for everyone. I would recommend Club Mac

Arrived sey 19th 2023 for 10 nights.
Had an amazing time and the staff were very lovely and extremely hard working not a crumb was left on the floor for more than a second before a member of staff were cleaning it up , The rooms were cleaned everyday.
The complex was large and plenty of pools/entertainment and restruants and bars
Free bus to the beach and the driver was always happy and polite.
I can not fault this hotel/staff/entertainment one little bit and we absolutely 100% would come back.

After leaving the airport we were the 10th drop off. The driver couldn't tell us what the next hotel would be, there was no rep on board. My husband who is disabled had to fight for a seat at the front of the coach. On arrival at the hotel we had a two hour wait to enter our room. The room door wasn't wide enough to allow him to wheel through. The kettle tripped the electric in our room and I couldn't get hold of reception using the phone so had to get dressed and walk to Reception to advise them at 11.30pm, I was informed to climb up to the fuse box and flip the switch, not happy doing that as I have arthritis. The pool was very noisy all day. Children were using mobility scooters for fun not because they needed them. There were grown adult men playing ball games in the shallow children's pool, accident waiting to happen. We witnessed an altercation between a very large man from Northern Ireland and a frail grandmother whose grandson was punched by the man's son, when she asked the bully to apologise he refused then ran off to tell his dad. The man was violently abusive and the grandmother was visibly shaken and had to leave the area. We didn't see any security that could have intervened. Apart from that the room was clean and ample. The food was varied and very nice. Won't be returning

Amazing family holiday. Other reviews must be mad or went somewhere else.
Went for 8 days as family with 2 children (7 and 8).
We're never bored with pool, entertainment, water park included etc.
With 1 vegetarian child, was concerned about food.but the range was.amazing. quality was great and adults and children were both very happy.
Children had their own "kids bar" to get drinks, ice poles and ice creams themselves which the loved.
Will be coming back in the future.

Club Mac what can o say!! I have been all around the world visited some amazing places. This hotel comes into my top 5 with the kids.
You guys have been absolutely amazing from the entertainment staff, bar staff, lifeguard, burger bar staff, Hairdressers, Towel people, bedroom cleaners, chef, waitress, cleaners in the restaurant, kids bar staff, To the fish man #feet and the people on the lake

The Waterpark was 10/10 and I would 100% recommend the fast track pass for €15 #toptip

Our Room served it’s purpose two double bed with air conditioning

Breakfast till 10.30am, snack bar always available, Drinks, ice cream, ice lollipops available every time, Night food beautiful with different food choices every night!! The staff are brilliant always positive/ polite/ smiling and always available to help!! They never stop working!

I would like to take this time to thank everybody at the club Mac hotel you guys are the best

If I could put a minus zero on this one I would. Definitely do yourself a huge favour and stay away. The first day we had all our shoes jackets and baby blankets and more stolen. And the management in particular her name is Stella was quick to dismiss that it’s not their staff it’s the guest leaving. She was as cold as ice and would not care any less. Money was taken from our room and she says it’s your responsibility to look away your valuables even in your room. Investigating would cost me more money than wat you have lost.what kind of investigation is needed there. They must have a rota of who cleaned our room that day and that’s it. I had to stop having the rooms clean the rest of the stay as We had few things kept missing. I have never been at a hotel where you have to walk around with your hand bag and passports because you fear someone will rob you. We were never safe and the fact that pple like Stella with zero management skills are allowed to even run the place is pathetic. I asked her to have access to the cctv and was told that is not the reason why we have cctv in that room it’s incase pple fight or there is death in there 😃😃😃 to keep that felt like the joke of the year. How much often do pple die in the holding room. I have a feeling they know who took the things and they are well aware of the stealing going around the place.

Hotel from hell, booked for 10 days but left after 4 , family room for 2 adults and 3kids was way to small you couldn't move in there plus there was no bed for the 3yr old it had dark brown clad walls which made it very oppressive, we were on the 7th and 8th floors the lifts were forever breaking down and took an age to arrive,the food was inedible it was cold and alot of times raw ,families were going down like flies with sick bugs, it was full of undesirable people who's aim was to get drunk fight and argue while leaving their kids to run riot ,every night you had people running up and down corridors banging on doors screaming and shouting, there is 2 areas for the entertainment both are outside with no protection from the weather and given that it is 3 huge hotels the facility's are far from adequate for the amount of people, there is a constant sewerage smell in the rooms , we complained to the hotel but it was like they were bored with listening to us as they had heard it all before, I appreciate the hotel has no control over who books in there but they really need to sort the place out , everyone we spoke to was trying to get of there ,we managed to be able to move but at an extra cost and to go self catering which cost a lot more money than anticipated, but had we not we would of been on the first flight out of there.

What a nightmare. Couldn't wait for week to end. Full of travellers with no respect whatsoever. They had no control over their kids and couldn't take our eyes off my grandson. Screaming & shouting at 2am in the corridors & allowing their kids to run up and down banging on the doors. Not one peaceful night. Food really not great, found something to eat every evening but not particularly enjoyed. Floor was filthy with food thrown by kids in restaurants. Entertainment was good even if we were amongst travellers all beered up. Tiny balconys not particularly enjoyed by the smell of weed wafting in. Weather not on our side, so cold when sun went in and so windy, not much to do when raining it just brought the kids out in the corridors running up & down. Staff lovely and always being cleaned but never again.

Do yourselves a favour and never use this hotel. Returned yesterday and it could not come quick enough. So many negatives regarding this place. Raised so many issues with hotel and every one of them was brushed aside. Booked a premium room with bunks beds for 2 adults & 2 kids aged 9 & 10. Room was just about big enough for 2 never mind 4. Balcony was so small even that was a tight squeeze for 2 and the smell from the sewers coming through the toilet was disgusting even though we where on the 9th floor(top). Use the shower and you’ll find the toilet floor swimming with with water as the water flooded out underneath the shower screen. As an all inclusive hotel drinks where a plenty but there was no policy that we saw that monitors excessive alcohol consumption. With so many kids around I thought the hotel would stop serving alcohol to anyone who obviously had 3 too many but this wasn’t the case. Even during the day the amount of drunk people staggering about was ridiculous and at night this was 100 times worse. For a complex advertising as great for families I would advise against taking young kids to this place unless they are used to loud aggressive drunk behaviour. Plenty of free activities for the kids to do however with so many kids looking to take part there is limited availability and even then it is far too busy for the kids to be able to be fully entertained for the full activity. For example there was a carnival day where kids could play carnival stall games such as ‘throwing darts to pop balloons to win tickets to redeem for popcorn and sweets or throwing beanbags into targets along with another few games’ but with so many kids taking part it took about 45 minutes stood in a line before it was their go. Then there’s paid activities within the complex which are run by outside agencies such as swan pedallos & electric boats in the lake, trampolines, electric cars to name but a few. All of which are €6 a go. Even though your in an all inclusive hotel be prepared for some major expense. Just having 2 kids with you wanting a go in all I’ve mentioned would cost you €48. I know it’s optional but I certainly wouldn’t like to keep telling the kids “NO” especially on holiday. Entertainment at night was average to say the least. Food is plentiful and more than edible but quite repetitive with the same things on menu but just cooked in a different way. But the icing on the cake for us came a week into our stay. We returned to the room after a day by the extremely overcrowded pool to find one of our iPads badly damaged. (Screen smashed so badly you could see the inside) The only person to have access to our was the maid. She obviously dropped it panicked and got out of there quick as the room was obviously not finished as beds weren’t changed, no fresh towels and she left her master keycard in the room. I spoke to reception who told us to speak to customer services who are only there from 9am till 6pm. Next morning we spoke to them and told them about what we found. They asked how many kids we had and implied it could have been 1 of them. When we told them they weren’t in the room all day they said we would have to wait until they could speak to the maid who surprisingly wasn’t back for 2 days, the same day as we where due to leave. They did however check the cctv in corridor and also the lock reading to see who did or did not go into the room that day. Upon checking they confirmed what we had already told them. We asked to speak to hotel manger and where told they would need to speak to maid first. 2 days later on our departure day we spoke them again. We where told that the maid said she lifted up the iPad from the top bunkbed and had opened it and it was already smashed and put it back down again. Apparently she did this just in case it was broken and she got the blame. Seriously? We told them there was no way the iPad was on the top bunkbed as it was sitting on the small dressing table. Why would she even open up someone else’s belonging in the first place. There where 4 iPads in the room and that was the only iPad she looked at. Never heard so much ridiculous comments. The kids certainly didn’t put it there as they have their own iPads. After telling them this the maid then changed her story to “ it must have been someone else’s room where the iPad was on the top bunk. So now we have the maid telling 2 different accounts of the events that day. We then asked what they are planning to do to cover the cost of the iPad repair only to be told they will do nothing. We where classed as liars and they believed the maid who had changed her story to suit the inconsistencies in her 1st version of events. We once again asked to speak to hotel manager but once again we where denied this. They said they would not let us see me manager for something like this. Approx £200 worth of damage that they would not compensate and still after numerous requests to speak to manger they constantly said no. Things did get heated and they said they would call the police. We told them to do ahead and we could speak to the police regarding the obvious criminal damage. Then they said if we wanted to speak to the police we would need to go ourselves to police station. Something we could not do as we where due to leave to come home. In the end they told us they would not be doing anything regarding this issue and told us to contact our travel company when we got home. They where even reluctant to give us their names and the name of the maid. Eventually after an hour of heated discussion they gave us their names, but not their full names. Although the 2 customer service managers spoke perfect English, numerous times during our discussions the spoke to each other in Spanish. I even still have the maids master keycard for the room as the customer service manger handed it back to me when I showed it to him. I could easily on the first day speaking to them have gained entry to every room in that complex. So there’s another thing in a very overcrowded complex. Security is not high on their list of priorities. If you stay there and have any issues of damages you can forget about getting it resolved. All they will do is close ranks and tell you to take it up with your travel company. Do yourselves a favour and stay well clear of this place.
