Unreliable for contractors: Unilateral payment modifications
I had a poor experience collaborating as a contractor with this agency. During my trial period, I was assigned a second client account that went beyond the original scope outlined in the baseline contract.
After formally inquiring through internal channels (Slack) regarding the compensation for this second account, their finance team confirmed in writing an additional flat fee. However, upon completion of the period, management applied a unilateral and arbitrary proration, completely ignoring the prior written agreement from their own team and hiding behind general contract clauses that did not account for this situation.
Management (Patrick Schenken) refused to resolve the discrepancy fairly despite being presented with written evidence. I recommend exercising caution if you are considering working with them as a professional or vendor, as they do not honor financial agreements made outside of their standard template.
