My experience with Lee and Efka Clement was very efficient and the finished product is lovely

We have a 1930s house which had Crittall single glazed windows. Previous owners had added some secondary double glazing and some of the windows had started to rust, so we decided to replace them all in August 2025 - a total of 42 separate units. After looking at several companies we decided to use Clement Windows. Although there was not much difference in price we were impressed with the detail of the proposal and preferred to deal directly with the manufacturer rather than an installer - albeit recommended by the manufacturer. Progress of the order was well managed and the installation took place exactly on time in November 2025. Installation was completed in a single week and we are very pleased with the result. We have no hesitation in giving them 5 stars and would certainly use them again

Great product badly specc'd. It took almost a year for their surveyor and install teams to pull their fingers out and still they got it wrong. I'm left with an insecure door and a company that won't stand by their process.

Appalling internal communication between sales and design which delayed everything by months and finally a director who refuses to acknowledge the problem.

Avoid this company if you can.

EDIT: Having just read their reply, they remain in denial. Their surveyor was given specific instructions and ignored them. They still haven't engaged with me but are happy to reply on a review site when criticised - that should tell you all you need to know. They just don't care enough.

As architects, our design hinged on respectfully modernising this historic family home while preserving its character. The choice of Clement’s approved steel windows was key. The EB20 and W40 ranges allowed us to maintain the home’s original elegance and sightlines, directly supporting the conservation requirements, while significantly enhancing internal daylighting and the overall performance required. We have been enjoying our Clement Windows and French Doors for around 2 years now. They are just as beautiful as the day they were fitted. We love the play of light and the way the windows frame the views of our garden and surrounds - magical. The company, from first contact to the consultations that took place on site, and finally the fitters - everyone has been a pleasure to deal with. It has been money well spent, and the joy of fine windows and doors an ongoing delight.

We have an Arts and Crafts house which had crittall single glazed windows. So we decided to replace them. After looking at several companies we decided to use Clements. Certainly not the cheapest but very good quality. You get what you pay for. There is not much movement on price, they are not a plastic double glazing company!! Very easy to deal with Clements windows, well organized and good communication. They are also flexible on survey and fitting dates. We have had over 25 windows and a door and the patio doors. All excellent, a high quality product. Thank you to the Clements Team. Fully recommended.

We have used Clements Steel Window on a number of projects over the years. You cannot beat the quality of their products. Having used several other types of metal windows, Clements is certainly one of the best. The whole process is closely managed, with detailed sign-off drawings and clear communication throughout. The installers all take pride in what they do. I would not hesitate to recommend Clements, and have done for many years!

After years of frustration, I’ve finally replaced 7 Clement windows with Velux — and it’s been a huge relief.
The original Clement windows were poor quality from the start. They caused constant stress, with persistent leaks that left me putting buckets underneath them during bad weather. Despite multiple reports, Clement refused to accept responsibility, instead blaming the fitters — without even inspecting the windows, claiming we lived "too far away."
Independent roofers and fitters have all confirmed the windows themselves are at fault, not the installation. Yet Clement still won’t engage, inspect, or take accountability.
This has cost me a great deal of time, money, and disruption for something that should have lasted many years. Sadly, I still have more Clement windows needing replacement — and zero support from the company

Clement Windows were a delight to work with and made everything easy and straightforward. The fitters were super efficient and left the place spotless. The steel doors are high quality and fit like a dream. They make the room much lighter and warmer and encourage the indoor-outdoor link to the garden. I chose them in off white to go with the rest of the kitchen. Highly recommended!

The whole process from start to finish was excellent. It seems slow to start with due to getting the style and door/window furniture correct and then the precise measurements taken. It is this attention to detail and communicating the various steps along the way that ensure the right products can be installed without rectification. When it came to installation the team worked without complaint in extremely cold conditions with attention to detail, cleanliness and minimum disruption for us in the house.

I cannot over emphasise the un-professional nature of this business. Repeated delays, poor communication and loopholes at every turn to absolve responsibility - a very unpleasant experience which held up a build for months. Please go to FabCo don't waste your time.

Not happy with the product. You are told that these are steel frame and you pay the high price for a steel frame but in reality they are polyester coated so you get the pvc look which is not the expected look for something that was meant to be an approved replica of windows in a conservation area. The finishing of the windows and other elements is not high standard - the peg stays are flimsy, the screws used to attach the frames and other elements are mismatched giving a cheap/failed diy look. Not happy with the installation service either.

I have just taken another star off!… I wrote this review in 2021 and they replied to it 7hrs ago…. And on top of it are calling my review ‘strange’ as they can’t find records of it. I will call them tomorrow to enlighten them.

Since moving into our new home, these windows and doors have been non stop on my snagging list!! The double glazed glass steams up internally, the glue drips down from the joints onto the glass, the door handles and locks are stiff and sometimes just don’t catch.
Yes the product looks lovely but if I had known better I would definitely have gone with a different company to get my ‘Crittal’ window look.

The windows are beautifully made. The people I dealt with: Efka Clement and Harry Hubbard very professional and efficient. Only negatives are that the windows are very expensive and that the combination of metal frame and absence of air vents is a recipe for condensation.

These are beautifully made and well engineered conservation roof lights that sit flush with the covering and although made for historic buildings would not look out of place in contemporary schemes. Ordering and delivery was extremely efficient and the technical/sales representative was very professional. Arrived well packaged and protected. Very Impressed.
