Well worth the service
This company is very good. I have a older game mod from Half life one. Talked to them, gathered files. Ordered set up ticket for adjustments. Went very very well. Keep in mind things do take time. If you have to wait a day for your problem to get fixed it happens. Longest it took was a day for ftp access dll configurations to be handled. These people are very professional and very good at their job.

I have been using them this past week and it's been a good experience, i got a valheim server and they have all the features i need, love the google drive backup feature! That for me is a winning feature in it'self since i am a worrier about my data, but i know it's safe with this company

The quick setup for my VPS is superb. The support was with me from day1 and up until now the server is running 100% with no issues at all. All the configurations, mods, and personalization are very easy to manage. Thank you for this. Highly recommended to all gamers alike.

Rented a 10 person valheim server. It couldnt handle 2. The server constantly needed to be restarted, had horrendous cpu throttling due to under provisioning, and the whole time, the support team tried to blame the game itself, despite the fact that we rented a server from a different host and it now performs faultlessly. I cancelled my service 1 week into the first month. Any attempt to negotiate a fix, provide timelines on improvement, or suggestion of credit for wasted time was met with deaf ears. I would not recommend to my worst enemy.

At first glance I was worried I wouldn't be able to figure out how to work this thing but my mind was set at ease when I had the server and saw how easy it was to use in the game panel. When I got stuck I simply followed their written guides and YouTube videos and that made it super easy!

I was all excited to Rent a server for a game I play so I could play with friends.
From day one nothing but issues. I contact Customer service. They proclaim all is fixed and running...
But real funny nobody else can get into it even myself.

Customer service? Where? I've not seen or heard from any of them. They send you automated responses with "help" attached to them that is akin to "Did you try plugging it in?". If you give us instructions and we read and follow them, and the server still doesn't work, don't point us to the VERY SAME INSTRUCTIONS THAT DIDN'T RESOLVE ANYTHING.
"Use our handy-dandy control panel to manager your server" Yeah, okay. Their "TCAdmin" panel is a complete joke. It's constantly has errors pop up, it doesn't download .db files correctly and only gives "request-aefa2e-etc" type files. I had trouble merely uploading a Valheim world. The upload would fail before it ever finishes. Yet, somehow it would show the file at like half the actual size.
So, I used FileZilla like everyone suggests but because it's still connecting to this terrible server, it still gives problems.
Even when I used Google Chrome to get everything up and running, without ANY actual help from Citadel Server's Support... the very next day I jumped online to see the world files are screwed up again. 4 back ups with the correct file sizes and 4 that are 1/19th the size it should be. This results in a world with no content.

One of the worst server host provider among many others. Especially the customer support, takes them a whole damn day to even reply to you and even with the reply the issue is never resolved or even stated the issues for it.

The service, admin panel, web UI/UX is absolute trash, some parts work in Chrome othe seem to only work in InternetExplorer. That would be okay if the server was working and the worlds didn't keep getting broken (15MB world goes to 150kb and then you're left without a world that you've invested hours in)

Ordered, and still currently paying, for a server that continually goes down, requiring restart after restart, and now when the server does decide to load, it doesn't fully load in the world. In fact, today it's not loading our previously saved world at all and treating it like a new game.
Having ordered a server to play Valheim, I honestly did not expect to have so many issues. I pay for a service like this so that I don't have to continually receive messages at all hours of the day from friends asking if the server is down.
I then need to get to a computer, log in, to restart the server. Id say at least 8-15 times PER DAY.
Then, after 3 days of solid progress, we logged in yesterday to find that the world itself (buildings etc) were gone, but our map markers (traders, routes taken etc) were fine..
Today we log in and EVERYTHING is gone.
I raised a support ticket yesterday and have had no response since.
I have also tried the live chat service, twice, but nobody seems to respond to a support query when I wonder if they would be quick to respond to a sales query.
I'll continue to update the review as progress is made, if any. I was warned against using Citadel and decided to use them anyway
Edit: so after raising a support ticket, it took 24hrs for any response whereby it was a copy paste of how to work and use their home page / portal. No direct communication, a copy and paste or a 4 paragraph set of instructions on how to use their servers.
After I replied again that this had nothing to do with the issues I am facing, it took another 24 hours for someone to respond again. This time when they responded it was to tell me that this was an early access game and that I should know this kind of thing should happen.
Then they blamed a game update that affected all users. Even though my server was the only one that I knew was affected by this magical update.
Then they blamed the amount of support tickets they've gotten for the complete lack of any personable response. I can only presume it is bots that have been responding thus far. Note its about 5 days since my original ticket at this point.
Long story short, their 'customer service' is non existent. Their server stability is the worst I'v experienced and they have absolutely no intention of upholding the service they promise.
I ended up going to Gportal and I'v had absolutely 0 issues since. No server issues, no platform issues, nothing.
Do yourself a favour!

My server was running smoothly then i tried to install a few mods and nothing worked again. Contacting their support took a few hours however, when I was connected they didn't just fix the server, they got the mods working! 5 star next time they will do the modding

I use their game panel and website builder. Awesome. Game panel is Easy to use from your phone or laptop. looks good as well. Building a website is very time consuming and populating all of your products is a drag but this builder makes it easy. Saved myself about $1k, that's what my graphics designer wanted to do it for me

I would say it's a pretty good host, support is good, performance is good, i think like anyone they can do better in certain areas like offer better package deals but its a solid experience so i give it 4 stars for now
Bad Support
On day 1 of getting a server I had multiple issues getting it running. After I opened a ticket I had to wait 2 hours for a response and it was only 1 sentence with very little information on what was done. After they "updated" it the server was set to public and not private, would not allow me to see how many people were on the server at the time and pinging the server said no response. It still let me join the server but all the config files were wrong so i updated my previous ticket to get more help. 3 more hours with no response. I opened a second ticket asking for them to help setup the server with the specific config files sonce it wasnt working for me and I got no response for another 2 hours. I currently have 2 open tickets with a cumulative of 5 hours with no help.

Awful. Awful. Awful. Purchased a Starbound server. It crashed multiple times a day for no reasons I could determine. Put in a ticket for support, never got a reply. Sought hosting elsewhere after my ticket wasn't replied to. They refuse to refund my money. I cancelled the server on day 4. I put in a ticket that wasn't reply to on day 2. They want to give me credit. Why would anyone want credit for somewhere with such poor services and awful customer service?
Horrible company
Horrible company. They take your money then NEVER respond. I was an idiot and purchased 2 servers; one was setup but on the wrong specs that I requested. The second was never setup. Its been 5 days and I am still waiting for a response. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY
