Great Product.

I purchased a cis = continues ink system - for my Epson WF-3640 printer from CIS-Inks.
It works great , no problems.
I purchase bulk refill bottles of ink and the purchase always is in my mail box quick fast and in a hurry - 3 or 4 days.
I purchased the - long needle syringe set - , makes it easy to extract ink from bulk ink bottles and put ink in external ink printer tanks.
I - Understand and Know - that installation and operation of ink systems Will Require Thinking , Thinking Is Ok With Me.
Making modifications of the printer as required is Ok With Me.

If Less Thinking and Plug and Play is what is important then I recommend the OEM or Remanufactured Cartridges from like Cartridge World and pay big money.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I gave one star because there was no option for a minus star....I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this company. They are terrible and have the same complaints I have. Luckily I paid with my Visa, so I'll get my money back. Bought refillable ink cartridges. Inserted them and my printer could not read them. Idiot I spoke with kept telling me to unstick and restick the chips. Even after I continued to tell him they were in the correct position and were not crooked. I asked him if we could return them to have them checked and he said they have no way of testing the chips,...what kind of rinky dink operation are they running?? He then said that since it was such an easy fix and I wouldn't do it, that he would not replace my cartridges. Where was I supposed to restick the chips other than were they go? I have used refillable inks for my other two printers and have not had these problems.

Worst Customer Service

I am not certain if the good reviews on here are fake or not but my experience with customer service was awful and just plain ridiculous.

After contacting them, I told them that their product was not working. The printer no matter how many times I played around with the cartridges the printer would not recognize or read the cartridge. I told them that the one they sent me was defective and that I would like a replacement. The representative then stated that he could not do an exchange unless I shipped the product back to them out of my own pocket. I had to reference their own return policy off of their website and he finally said "Thank you for showing us our return policy, I was not aware of the defective return/exchange policy." Even so, after that he said that all he could do was accept a return and that he will pay for the shipping label. Just to be sure I confirmed that he would refund me the full amount but he hesitated and said that he would have to charge a restocking fee of 15%. Are you seriously kidding me? After, another 30 minutes of arguing with them they finally got irritated and gave me a full refund and payed for their own return shipping costs. I told them, "wouldn't it have been easier to just exchange me product for a working one without arguement? now you've lost a customer." He then finally admitted that they were aware that their products are all having problems and that he did not want to send me another defective one. Are you serious? Then why are you giving me issues with my refund? He had no response. Absolutely ridiculous.

I ended up purchasing another Continuous ink system from another website and it worked great.
Do not buy from these people!!! They are aware of their defective products and they will argue with you for hours just to keep 50 dollars in their pockets.

I really like their customer service

I'm not quite sure about these negative reviews, but I've had nothing but a positive experience with cisinks.

I've dealt with them for years and they have always been helpful and courteous whenever it comes to any problems.

For those complaining about their products and services, you're buying a 3rd party product that literally modifies your printer. One should always expect to do a little extra to make these 3rd party systems to work. If you're happy not messing around with priming or refilling cartridges, then stick to OEM. Some of these reviews are simply bitter.

They are providing a way for us to save moneys or ink. And let me tell you, I love moneys!!!!

Vendors of questionable quality goods. Old school dishonest.

I bought a continuous ink supply system from them advertised as being compatible with my printer.

The system arrived, and it simply didn't fit in any way. Their online instructions are a kind of generic amalgamation where you simply see how the thing works and adjust to suit your own brand and model of printer. It wouldn't work for my printer. It kept catching and making grinding noises, etc, so I ventured online to figure out why this might be...

I looked on their web site forum and noticed somebody else who had the same issue. The staff replied to the guy online saying that they would have recommended he didn't purchase that system for that specific printer (question being, why does it say it's compatible on your web site, and you state it works on our printers then?), because our particular printer requires some serious augmentation. We're talking cutting out plastic. Lots of it.
His reply was simply that if he'd known this in the first place he wouldn't have purchased it. These were exactly my thoughts. I simply wasn't made aware of this, and the whole sale was based on a falsehood.

I emailed them, saying that the instructions as promised at emailed receipt of item simply don't apply to my printer, and that I heard there were special instructions on how to install this system.
They replied saying exactly the same to me, that they would have recommended that I not purchase this particular CIS. (So WHY do you sell it as being compatible on your very own web site?), and they could send me the instructions or simply swap out the system for some refillable cartridges instead.

Ah, I thought, that's kind of cool of them.
In fact the cartridges cost 10 dollars more than the CIS.
Their email to me stated that if I pay to ship it back, they would then send me the upgrade for free. Huh...Kind of nice of them, right?

I sent the system back (a ten dollar shipping fee), and during it's journey I discover that my initial attempt to install the system using the manual they supply online (they are very generic instructions intended for all to use and adjust to their own printer, so hard to know you aren't using the right ones in my case) effectively broke or misaligned my printer carriage, now making the exchange to refillable cartridges pointless.
At this point I'm frankly livid that their miss-directional sales tactics have effectively broken my printer, so I emailed them saying that I would instead prefer a refund due to the fact that they had mislead me into this purchase in the first place.

They received the package back (the item is in perfect resell-able condition.)
They then tell me that because I'm asking for a refund, they will have to charge me the initial shipping charge to mail it out.
I replied asking them how on earth could they justify that when they were about to ship me a replacement and more expensive item, if (in their own worlds) I ship the item back to them? They had already offered to pay the shipping back.

I also stated that if they had told me they would charge me for this refund when the other option was a swap out, I could at least ebay that item and break even...
They didn't reply.
I received a partial refund. This combined with my costs to return the item to them meant I pretty much just burned my purchase price.

It isn't the cost of the item that angers me so much. It's the dishonest nature of the sale and reeks of a company that doesn't care if their product works in the form they sold it to me in.
Had I seen the reviews on here before the purchase, I wouldn't have gone ahead with the purchase.
Their email replies were odd in their justification that the item simply wouldn't work very well, and in their opinion I shouldn't have bought it, and read like English wasn't their first language, and so even attempting to specify how odd this response was would have been a waste of time, as was my attempt at explaining that charging me more to not send me a replacement item after saying they would send it for free, doesn't make any sense either.

Perhaps for very simple purchases, like cheap ink refills, they may be completely fine, but if it's anything at all that is expected to be of any legitimate quality or where a return may be needed, you really need to look elsewhere.
I feel mislead and ripped off.

Lesson learned.

Very Poor customer service. Feel like I got ripped off. Product doean't work

Purchased a set of refillable cartridges and used the printer very little as I had another large format printer. I started using the printer for a big print project and before the cartridges ran out of ink the yellow and magenta cartridges quit being recognized by the printer. The company sent out 2 new chips for the cartridges and they still did not work and in the mean time 2 more quit working. The owner refused to give me any credit on the bad cartridges and would not even offer a discount on future orders. Now the owner will not answer my emails or return my calls. I would be cautious doing business with this company as experience with them has been very unprofessional. Use at your own risk. There products are over priced and I have found another vendor at a much lesser price that warranties their cartridges for one year

EPIC FAIL

Ordered two sets of continuous/refillable inks for different, brand new Epson printers (R260 and W1400). In both cases, the exact same thing happened... after only minimal use, the CISINKS black ink completely clogged my print heads, rendering both printers useless. I will never ever EVER buy from these jokers again.

unreliable, rude, defying BBB authority

Bought 3 CIS systems, stopped working after two weeks of usage ( i had not started using them until the second month after the purchase). The chips got burnt, and asked for replacement chips. They sent used chips, which were burnt too, so my printers do not recognize the cartridges. I called them after to let them know about this and they did not answer my phone calls. They ignored my emails, and when I finally told them that I would report them to the BBB they sent an email back saying "uuuh, now we're scared". They are very rude and you have to call either from another phone number or hide your number to get them to pick up. And when they do...lousy experience. Do not buy from these guys. The same company runs CISINKS.com and that's where I bought the CIS from. Stay away from this company and hopefully they'll go out of business.
