Disgusting shopping experience

I ordered 8 kids vitamins from chemist warehouse online, they shipped the product has 4 months left, and rejected to return , and told me they can sell all the product has 1 month expire date left . Disgusting shopping experience.

This the reply from them:
The expiry date is considered sufficient, and it is at a customer's own risk to order multiple units of vitamin.

Yes, the customer has the right to think about it until you let customer know the risk. the same product in store has 1 and half year left.

Turramurra Chemist Warehouse

I entered the Turramurra Chemist Warehouse at about 09h10, Monday, 26 June. A medium aged woman local accent was working near the colds and flu medication back counter/script area. I had looked for five products I needed and found three products. I merely needed help to find two other products. I approached this woman above-mentioned and greeted her and asked for assistance. I got a blunt look in my direction. I was asked what products and I showed the various items as per a list. She pointed in the direction of one of the products and said as you can see. Thereafter she pointed where the brand was allocated and turned her back and walked on. Funnily just 5 minutes before I noted this same woman was asked to help and went to the product and gave the product to the customer. Now I ask what is he problem being rude and cold and helpful. I had to ask the gentleman doing security and he actually helped me and pointed out the specific product. Shame on that woman who has to have the security gentleman do her job professionally for her. I hope the lady who manages the store can teach this employee to behave properly or ..... As when I buy $70 of article. The least I want as a client is reasonable, professional service. I do not pay for rude and blunt, cringe attitudes by employees on site. Thanks to the security gentleman and the manageress for acting professional to save the shopping experience.

Disgusting service

Disgusting service - they take your order, your credit details then you never hear from them other than they cant fill your order.
They dont reply to emails, phone calls, complaints line, nothing at all.

Avoid buying the FatBlaster Ultimate Diet Shakes

On Sunday 31st July 2016 night I bought a FatBlaster Ultimate Diet Shake Vanilla Ice cream for $23 from Chemist Warehouse in Ringwood (I took it from my pencil case) but the day after I bought two of these for $23 each from the same place (I paid for one and the Provisions paid for the other one).

On Monday 1st August 2016 night I returned all three of them and I got a full refund for them even though the third one was opened and I already had one sachet this morning.

I would definitely avoid having these because these have too many chemicals in them and you don't want to put them into your body so I would recommend losing weight the natural way.

It's like trying to talk to a brick wall!!!!

Sounds like Chemist Warehouse doesn't give a damn that we are all unhappy with the service and don't bother reading the reviews.
I also took a product back - and had to stand up to the Manager to insist that the item was not suitable for a 76 year old when I couldn't open the 7 day tablet organizer. I couldn't have known this at the time of purchase because it was in a sealed package. Because I had opened the sealed package they initially refused to give me a refund. When I persisted and demanded to see the Manager, she told me that they couldn't send it back and would have to throw it is the bin - I simply said "Better your bin than mine". She VERY begrudgingly told the cashier to give me the refund and throw it in the bin!!!
Her problem, not mine but I sent a complaint to Chemist Warehouse about their customer service and said I would not be back and would warn others.

Non Prescrition purchase Vetted

I bought a non-prescription sleep aid which I use very sparingly. I am a disability pensioner and rely on this product. It was treated as a prescription sale and I was charged accordingly. I also had to leave my name and address before receiving the product, as if I am a drug user. Ridiculous. I will not return to this outlet.

Ordered important prescription online…

Ordered important prescription online at a huge cost, no free shipping even for over $175.00 , invoice stated dispensed from Box Hill Vic, actual items posted from NSW, only option was to pay express post of $14.99, took over 7-10 working days. Rang customer service and was told to organise better my prescriptions

Don't bother

They are a shocking company. Constantly advertising products that they just don't have in stock.
Order 3 things online and they will cancel 2 of them so you are paying shipping for just 1 item.
The consumer commision should look into this.

Terrible service

Terrible service, and super slow. Ordered 2 perfumes the 1st one was sent 6 days after purchasing. But the second one, they have changed the order date to whatever they like not the actual date I purchased it and it's still processing. What a joke, I would never buy from these guys again. Had thought buying 12 days before Mothers Day, I would be safe and the products would arrive in time. But I don't think so, so thanks Chemist Warehouse for your terrible customer service. And as for the 0800 help line, they put you on hold for 30 minutes. Then get told they can't take your call.

Not the first time this has…

Not the first time this has happened..Brought two products online..got an immediate cancellation.Eventually one item was sent...this other was and is still listed in stock.So annoying..they want customers to buy online but dont bother getting the actual product sent when paid for.If it was out of stock online fair enough...but to see it still listed and available but instead they refund is ridiculous.Chemist Warehouse New Zealand

They sent someone else's sensitive information to me

I gave an online order with a medication item in it. I even paid express delivery to deliver it in 3 hrs but I was told the same day that the item would be delivered the next day. I was still ok with that. When I received my order the next day, I realised that I received someone else's product along with that person's tax invoice and some of my products along with my tax invoice but not the medication. Besides seeing someone else's full contact info, I can see that person's sensitive medication info as well. I am not sure if they sent mine to another person too and this makes me feel extremely uncomfortable.

When I had a chat with a customer care representative, she asked me to take it to the post office and wanted me to wait 5 more days for my product to be redelivered etc. instead of trying to solve this issue (which was caused by them not me so it is not my problem at all) and finding out if my information went to someone else too. Even though the whole time I was kind to her, she even got upset about me being concerned. Then eventually she realised that the reason why I gave an online order was because I wasn't able to go out and even if I could, I shouldn't be getting into trouble by going to a Post office and fixing their mistake. Obviously, if I could go to the nearest chemist, I wouldn't pay for a delivery and wait for the delivery too. I also shouldn't be asked if I would wait another 5 days to receive my product as well.

On the contrary, I do expect an apology and reassurance that my sensitive information didn't go to another person and I am still receiving the medical product I was expecting to receive today!!!

Worst online purchase experience ever

Worst online purchase experience I have ever had. They were happy to advertise the product as in stock with 2-4 day delivery as they were busy. Almost a month later and no delivery, no answers to my requests for information. No one answering their 0800 number. Then out of the blue I get an automated refund notification telling me they have supply issues and have no choice but to refund which will happen within the next week. They are still advertising the product and soliciting orders for it. Absolute rubbish experience. Never have I given a review online before but felt compelled for Chemist Warehouse. Only giving it 1 star because zero stars was not an option. You would be wise to avoid. Good luck

Went to Birkenhead sydney branch and…

Went to Birkenhead sydney branch and encountered a rude staff for the first time from chemist warehouse.

My mum was just looking at lipsticks and this woman with the blonde ponytailed hair with an accent went and grabbed the lipstick from her and had a fit because she thought that my mum touched the other lipsticks. She was mad because they’re all over the place.

My mum was telling her repeatedly that it wasn’t her who touched the items but she went on and gave us an attitude.

I worked in retail as well and this is not the way to treat a customer and a situation.

Very shoddy indeed

Very shoddy indeed. I returned a new Colgate Blast water flosser which I bought 10 days ago and which did not work, and the attendant was clear that they could do nothing because I had not brought it back within their required 7 days. She was unhappy when I told her of the effect of consumer protection legislation. Two more people followed, the second .........., who I was told was the manager. He insisted firstly that they'd test it, and that if it didn't work they would have to send it back to the manufacturer who would make a decision. To his credit when I spoke to him, fairly yet firmly, about the fact that the legislative responsibility lies with Chemist Warehouse and it is .......... to spin me such a line, he was accepting if resentful. It was left that they would test the unit and contact me. I am sorry for all those people who are not lawyers and thus who accept the dreadful refusal of responsibility of Chemist Warehouse. When I purchased the water flosser my total purchase that day was 311.91. But no more money to this shoddy uncaring group.

I am going through the same issue.. its been more than two weeks I have not received my online order. Their customer service line it is never reachable so i therefore sent multiple emails but i have not heard.. this is chemist warehouse nz by the way

Bad customer service

Online order was picked up for delivery on 28/2 expected delivery on 1/3. Is now 13/3 and still nothing. Called "customer service" twice, given a message after 28min on hold that they are busy and call back at another time. No option to take your number or a request to call me, just call back at another time. We are turning into a third world country sadly.
