For anyone else reading this review - I would like to provide context as to what occurred with this student. When this student subscribed to CG Forge, they had agreed to a non-refund policy which is clearly stated in a variety of ways. The no-refund policy is stated in the agreed terms and conditions and additionally during checkout by selecting a checkbox which states, "I understand that CG Forge will not offer refunds, subscriptions will renew automatically, and I take all responsibility for managing my subscription preferences." In fact, it is impossible to subscribe to CG Forge without agreeing directly to these options, and this information is additionally conveyed throughout the website.
In spite of our best efforts to clearly communicate this policy, this student still requested a refund after they had left their subscription on for a few months after watching some courses. Our support team was extremely polite and professional. They did their best to respect this student and clearly communicate - even after this person went on various social media platforms in an attempt to defame CG Forge under numerous accounts. Additionally, this student threatened legal actions and a variety of other actions to take down our business.
All in all, there is nothing "fraudulent" about CG Forge or its business activities. It is a subscription service - much like other subscription services like Netflix, Amazon, etc. Our policies, information on how to cancel, and customer support services are all clearly available to students.
