£250 for a dermatologist that didn't know what I had... Less than a 10 Minute Consultation - On top of that waiting 30 minutes...

I am one year post SMILE Laser Eye Surgery and the results have been absolutely incredible.
I can't speak highly enough of Cathedral Eye Clinic - from the first friendly face you see when you walk in until the last you see before you leave.
The level of professionalism is top notch. I had a great experience from my very appointment - everything was explained in full detail, walking me through every stage of the process. There were endless checks performed which made me feel so at ease.
The surgeon, Mr Mandal, was fantastic - he met with me first to talk me through the actual surgery and what would happen and then on the day of surgery, he kept me completely relaxed and at ease during the procedure. I was 100% confident in his abilities.
SMILE laser eye surgery is amazing - I could see distance 3-4 hours after the surgery. I experienced no pain. I would recommend SMILE and Cathedral Eye Clinic to anyone.

Cateract operation. I was a bit nervous but the staff explained the whole operation sinply and clearly which put me at ease. The operation was painless and really
after 3 days there is a big improvement in my eyesight. Overall no problem giving Cathedral five stars.

I would like to thank Dr Chan and his amazing team in Catherderal Eye Clinic Academy Street Belfast for the wonderful service I received during my cateracts surgery. Each staff member I meet during my two visits to the clinic were extremely welcoming, professional and made me feel so comfortable. Professional and friendly service.
As a very nervous patient I but reassured by Mr Mandal by surgeon. Procedure was minutes and was talked through it all settling my mind. I would reccomend Smile to any one as now my vision is much better that with my previous contact lenses.

I had SMILE laser surgery, my surgeon was Professor Moore. It has been life-changing for me, completely doing away with contact lenses and glasses. All staff I met from the initial consultation to surgery and aftercare have been fantastic. The consultations were very thorough and everything was explained so well, helping me make the most appropriate decision with regards which surgery option suited me best. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The aftercare has been excellent. I have felt very supported throughout. I would highly recommend the Cathedral eye clinic to anyone considering laser eye surgery.

My elderly father had cataract eye surgery in both eyes performed by Mr Wing Chan over September and October 2022. We were both impressed by the professional manner in which the whole procedure was conducted. Mr Chan himself was friendly and approachable and the clinic staff were at all times helpful and nothing was too much trouble. My father was treated at all times with dignity and respect and the information given was detailed but easy to understand and it was made clear that we could contact them at any time with any concerns. Both procedures were without issue and my fathers eyes are now healed and healthy. We would highly recommend Cathedral Eye Clinic.

To say that I was nervous would be an understatement, I don't even like anyone putting drops in my eyes!!
When I went for my consultation, Mr.Chan explained everything about the cataract procedure very thoroughly.
It made me realise just how much I needed to do something as my eyes were only going to get worse.
I had my first operation in May and the next in August.
Everyone was lovely, very friendly and reassuring.
Everything was over very quickly and it was lovely to get a follow up phone call to check in and see how I was doing.
The results have shocked me-WOW!!!
After years of wearing varifocals, I only need glasses for reading.
This has been the best decision that I have made going to Cathedral eye clinic to get this done.

After a long time on nhs waiting list I decided to go to Cathedral eye clinic . Although relatively young I had a dense cataract , along with a further complication in that eye. I had a consultation with Mr Chan who explained everything to me and also the risk I may have to have a further procedure due to the complication with my eye .I was very nervous on the day of the surgery and my blood pressure spiked . Eamon was fantastic and monitored my blood pressure until it came down and it was safe to proceed . He has great chat and I felt much calmer with his help.The operation went well and no further surgery was required thankfully. Ian was amazing and kept me calm throughout the surgery.I cannot thank Mr Chan enough not only is he an amazing surgeon he is also so kind and reassuring. I now have now fantastic vision in my eye , which after many years of no vision is life changing for me My only regret is not doing it sooner . Thank you to all the amazing staff at cathedral eye clinic .

I had a cataract removed by Mr Stephen Stewart at the clinic in Belfast and it was a great success and pain free. The whole team are excellent from start to finish.
Having previously had a very successful retinal attachment by Mr Richard Best some years ago I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.
Everyone showed professionalism and kept me informed every step of the way.

I had a cataract removed from my right eye in early January. It was a painless and quick procedure. The staff are very nice and pleasant and the clinic is spotlessly clean.I would definitely recommend the Calderdale Clinic to others. A fantastic and straight forward procedure that has improved my quality of life forever.

My Nanny has a strong family history of Wet AMD which is a condition that can drastically reduce vision. When she mentioned a drop in her reading vision I was anxious for her to have an Ophthalmologist health exam. As an Optometrist working in practice I have referred many of my patients to the clinic for their expertise so I was delighted to have an appointment for my Nanny so quickly.
Her experience at the Cathedral Eye Clinic with Mr Chan was very positive. She felt at ease with Covid-19 safety procedures in place, the team were friendly and welcoming. She had been rather nervous to attend fearing a poor prognosis however, Mr Chan completed an extensive exam and was content with no need for treatment.
My Nanny’s mood was lightened and worries put to rest.
Covid-19 has meant 2020 has been a challenging year in health care but the team at the Cathedral Eye Clinic have continued to deliver excellent care for their patients.
