We had a great experience with our agent Lola Quehan of Cairds Epsom. She resolved the issue of the property that we are currently renting. She immediately booked maintenance straight away. We have been renting with Cairds for over 5 years now and there has been no issues at all. I highly recommend renting with Cairds Epsom.

Would recommend Cairds. They were very professional and patient throughout our house purchase, even though it became a bit complicated. Really appreciated Oscar's effort and patients throughout the process and would recommend him specifically.

The whole team at Cairds was professional, informative and friendly. Our property was put on the market promptly and it was easy with the app to see what viewings there were booked.
We almost didn't use Cairds to sell our property as we didn't initially realise they had a dedicated sales negotiator. Oscar has proved to us how essential it is to have someone consistent to liaise with, chase the solicitors, communicate with the buyers and most importantly, keep us updated on the sale's progress. The buyers' solicitor was painfully slow and Oscar's efforts definitely made the whole process smoother and less stressful. He was easy to get in contact with, personable and very patient with us. He demonstrated understanding of both sides when problems arose in the sale and represented our interests well. I'm not sure the sale would have gone through if it wasn't for his persistence! We are incredibly grateful for all of his hard work.
Steven and Lorraine were also excellent in chasing and communicating when Oscar was on leave. We couldn't have asked for more.
Additionally, the solicitors that Carids recommended (Switch Law) were very speedy and easy to get hold of, which I think is rare.

It was a particularly long, stressful process for us this time. We had a bit of bad luck with the previous buyer and some frustrating setbacks with the chain along the way, all the while trying to sell in a tricky and falling market.

However, you both stayed with it and we got there in the end, with lovely buyers and a happy result all round.

We bought and sold a property with Cairds. Gavin worked with us closely in both. He was very professional, prompt, informative and is very personable. He , and his team kept us fully informed, adapting as necessary to facilitate the sales. Once agreed , the conveyancing was very quick which was what we wanted . Very pleased overall nd would have no hesitation in recommending Cairds based on our experience .

We rented a flat in Epsom at the end of April. We were very new to this but Lola was very kind and took me through all the steps to securing the property. She helped with the online communication and made it seem less stressful when for me it could have been overwhelming. She was always available to speak to. Any problems we had in the flat and someone would come round from Cairds.
We used the flat for only a short time as my husband was taken to hospital in early June .We therefore gave notice at the end of July. Prospective tenants came round and within a few days a new tenant had been secured and we moved out.
The paperwork and preparation regarding all this was very efficiently handled by Sathees. Any questions I had were answered very quickly. He was also very fair about deposit and we appreciated this.
I would thoroughly recommend Sathees and Cairds in general to help with all to do with renting and then ending the tenancy of a property. They were thorough, professional and kind.

I had a fantastic experience working with Jack at Cairds. He was great in accommodating my schedule, and went above and beyond to help me understand the rental process.

Having recently moved from South Africa to the UK, the process was all new to me, but Jack made it straightforward and stress-free. His support was instrumental in helping me get my offer over the line.

Cairds were acting for the seller of our new home we purchased
we liaised with Oscar (Lythgoe) throughout the process and he was fantastic.
He was quick to answer or find the answer to all our queries, all in all helped make the process much less stressful

Very disappointing experience with Cairds.

We genuinely wanted the property and were ready to proceed. We provided our financial information and even agreed to pay approximately £2,500–£2,800 for the Goodlord Rent Guarantor service to meet the requirements.

Despite this, we were told that the landlord had decided to proceed with another tenant. We had not withdrawn and were still fully committed to renting the property.

What disappointed us most was that Cairds then decided to retain our holding deposit. After challenging the decision several times, they eventually refunded part of it but still kept £250 for referencing-related costs.

We feel this was extremely unfair, particularly as it was not our decision to walk away from the property.

Based on our experience, we would not recommend Cairds.

We can’t recommend Oscar from the Epsom Cairds branch highly enough. From our very first viewing, he was fantastic to work with and stood out throughout the whole buying process.

He took the time to understand what we were looking for and diligently followed up with properties he genuinely thought would suit us. He was personable, easy to engage with and always clear and communicative. We never felt like just another buyer on a list. Oscar wanted to help us find the right home.

Once we found it, that same level of dedication continued throughout the process. His communication, persistence and willingness to keep things moving made a huge difference, and we always felt we could rely on him.

We’re now very happily settling into our new home in Epsom and honestly can’t thank Oscar enough for the part he played in getting us here. He is a real credit to the team.
