Un service qui méprise les clients !

J'ai acheté au printemps 2025 une robe pour le mariage de ma fille. En l'essayant dans le magasin, j'ai notifié à la vendeuse la difficulté à fermer la fermeture à glissière. Elle m'a pris à la légère me disant que c'était juste la surépaisseur du tissus. Une fois rentrée chez moi je me suis rendue compte qu'il y avait 2 trous sur la robe probablement à l'endroit de l'anti vol.
J'ai contacté le service client.
Ils se sont montrés parfaitement lamentables et totalement inefficaces.
Pendant des semaines j'ai échangé avec un certain Joe qui m'a abreuvé de mails de félicitations pour mon goût, pour le modèle que j'avais choisi et ....sans jamais réellement me proposer de solutions. J'ai envoyé des photos, vidéos de la fermeture à glissière défectueuse et des trous .
C'est à 3 semaines du mariage de ma fille qu'il me propose de me rendre dans une boutique à une heure et demie de chez moi pour faire un échange ( aucune garantie d'avoir la même robe , à la bonne taille et avec une fermeture fonctionnant ).
Je suis sous le choc.
Ils m'ont volontairement fait traîner....
Une honte pour une marque soit disant de luxe .

Mi sono recata in un punto vendita.
Prima di acquistare una camicia per un regalo di compleanno a mio marito, ho chiesto alla commessa quanti giorni c’erano se dovessi effettuare un reso, mi ha risposto 14 giorni ed era il giorno 23/06/25 il regalo lo dovevo consegnare il 06/07/25 quindi dopo 13 giorni, faccio alla commessa lasciamo stare perché se non va bene la taglia non riesco a sostituirla, lei mi ha risposto che se mi iscrivevo come cliente non c’erano problemi si venivo dopo alcuni giorni e altrimenti potevo anche telefonare per avvisare, così mi ha convinto e ho fatto l’acquisto.
Il giorno 07/07/25 viene provata la camicia e vediamo che è grande e bisogna andarla a cambiare. Il giorno 08/07/25 chiamo al telefono quel numero che c’è sullo scontrino fiscale ma la sorpresa è che il numero risulta staccato e non più attivo.
Come avevo detto alla commessa io potevo recarmi al negozio solo di sabato e così il giorno 12/07/25 mi reco in negozio tranquilla per fare il cambio taglia.
Entro spiego tutto quello che mi è stato detto dalla commessa, riferisco anche che il numero di telefono è staccato e così intanto mi dice la commessa che mi segue che sono passati 14 giorni lavorativi e doveva chiedere al responsabile, prende lo scontrino e sparisce per 10 minuti, quando riappare mi dice che il responsabile mi nega il cambio taglia perché passati 14 giorni e questa è prassi del negozio, a questo punto chiedo di poter parlare con il responsabile di persona ma mi dice che non c’è perché in ferie, non mi ha voluto dare i dati del responsabile e così mi ha liquidata.
Mi hanno fatto fare un’acquisto che io già gli avevo detto che per il reso se era necessario avrei passato i 14 giorni assicurandomi il cambio e poi mi hanno liquidata e fatto buttare i soldi nel cesso.

SAV déplorable

Il y a quelques années, j’ai acheté un trench chez Burberry. Malheureusement, la doublure s’est déchirée à force de frottements. J’ai alors contacté le service après-vente afin de demander une réparation, même à mes frais. Leur réponse a été catégorique : sans ticket de caisse, aucune prise en charge n’est possible.

Ils m’ont reproché de ne pas m’être inscrit dans leur fichier client à l’époque de l’achat. Malgré une lettre recommandée adressée au siège, puis un contact avec le siège à Londres, la réponse est restée la même : pas de preuve d’achat, pas de réparation — même si je suis prêt à payer pour la prestation.

Un service après-vente vraiment déplorable pour une marque qui se revendique de luxe !

Auch ich bin leider sehr enttäuscht vom Kundenservice. Ich war in Mailand und habe mir einen Schal und eine Tasche gekauft. Der Schal wurde in Papier eingepackt und ich habe leider den Fehler gemacht, diesen erst in Deutschland auszupacken. Natürlich hat er ein kleines Loch bei diesem sensiblen Materialmix aus Wolle und Seide 🙈. Ich habe über WhatsApp Kontakt aufgenommen, musste den Beleg und Bilder senden, man versprach mir zu helfen. Der Kauf war am 16.05., bis heute hat man es nicht geschafft, den Store dazu zu bewegen, sich zu melden , so dass ich einen retourenschein erhalte. Lächerlich und ich werde nie wieder bei Burberry etwas kaufen. Per Email wurde versprochen, ich kann diesen zurück senden und ich erhalte einen neuen und dass man als Kunde wichtig ist. Ich fühl mich nur noch verarscht.

Mauvaise qualité et SAV deplorable

J’ai acheté un trench à 855€ en 2023 dans un magasin Burberry à Barcelone. Mis 3 fois, et un passant de la ceinture se décolle. J’appelle le service client, qui me dit que je dois ramener le trench en magasin à Paris…. Ne souhaitant pas payer un billet de train exprès pour Paris, je décide de le réparer moi même avec de la colle à tissu mais cela ne tient pas.
Je profite d’un déplacement à Paris pour rappeler le service client , qui me redit d’aller au magasin rue Saint Honoré, qui a un atelier de réparation et pourront me dire s’ils peuvent réparer. Le cours au magasin Saint Honore , pour m’entendre dire qu’il faut que j’aille chez la couturière partenaire , qui est biensur fermé au moment où on se parlait , et je dois donc y retourner un autre jour.

Pour un trench à 855€, le SAV est déplorable, et je déplore aussi la qualité du trench.. je n’achèterai plus rien chez eux, un bon trench d’une marque quelconque bien moins cher est de meilleur qualité je pense.

Overpriced and Overrated - Poor Quality and Worse Customer Service

I purchased a Burberry belt expecting premium quality and lasting value, as one would reasonably assume from a high-end brand. However, after just 14.5 months, the belt began to show unacceptable wear and deterioration a clear sign of poor material quality, not regular use.
Even more frustrating was the lack of accountability from Burberry’s customer service. Despite providing evidence and handling the item with care, I was told the damage was my fault due to "wear or storage." No refund, no replacement — just a dismissive response that completely ignored any responsibility.
It’s clear that Burberry offers no real value to its customers beyond branding and image. The product quality does not reflect the price, and the service is far below what anyone should expect from a so-called luxury brand.
Based on this experience, I will not be buying from Burberry again, and I strongly advise others to avoid their products. The service is poor, the quality is unreliable, and the brand does not stand behind what it sells.

I was convinced that I was sold FAKE at Burberry store in Bicester Village! But it turns out their quality has just gone down the drain.

I bought a bag in November. Very soon the bag started showing major quality issues. The leather print came off on all the corners of the bag.

I contacted the customer service and their quality team concluded that there are no signs of manufacturing defects and that repairs would be at an Extra cost. Imagine getting this email after purchasing a +/-£500 bag with major quality issues.

Needless to say I am very disappointed with the purchase and I have 0 confidence in their repairs service.

I put in an order for a scarf on this website at 8:44 on Sunday morning, and also requested the complimentary embroidered personalisation service.

I then made the mistake of coming to this page and stressing myself out after seeing all of these other reviews.

Thankfully, I received my item at 1:05 in the afternoon on Tuesday (today), little over 52 hours. I've looked through it and everything is exactly as it should be.

Very happy and will most likely order from them again.

Das unternehmen muss sich verbessern! waren so enttäuscht. Waren vor ca 4 Jahren regelmäßige kunden bei burberry am neuen wall in hamburg. Dort wurden wir immer sehr aufmerksam begrüßt und sehr gut beraten. Als wir in der letzten woche den laden besuchten um einen mantel zu kaufen, war erst kein verkäufer zu sehen, kam dann aber einer von hinten. haben unsere wünsche geäußert, dann entfernte sich der verkäufer, um ware aus dem untergeschoss zu holen. in dieser zeit waren wir gefühlt alleine im laden. Kein platz oder wartegetränk angeboten. Zwei harte bänke mit sehr eingesessenen pferdedecken drauf, das man fast von der bank rutscht. Dann nur ein mantel in der richtigen größe, fragten dann ob es kundenrabatt gibt, nein darauf nicht, aber ich kann ihnen handtaschen holen darauf ja. wollte aber einen mantel. früher war das ein exclusive laden. nein danke. haben dann übers internet in einem kaufhaus bestellt, und noch gutschriften gesammelt. so hält man keine kunden, sorry

Poor quality – never buying Burberry again

This will be my last purchase from Burberry.

I bought a handbag from the Noventa di Piave outlet as a gift for my mother. After very limited use, the handles started peeling badly, making the bag look fake — despite the rest of it being in perfect condition. When I contacted Burberry Customer Service (after being ignored twice), they replied only to say the damage was “likely due to wear and tear” and that “the bag had much use over time.” Honestly? That says everything about their product quality.

Burberry products are sold at luxury prices but clearly offer some of the lowest quality I’ve ever experienced. I’ve owned lower-end handbags, backpacks, and accessories that lasted far longer and held up much better — for a fraction of the price.

Worse yet, customer service offered no real help. I wasn’t even asking for a free repair or replacement — just guidance. Instead, I was told they don’t operate in my country (Slovenia), won’t recommend any official repair options, and that I should just go find a local, non-authorized service. No mention of sending the item abroad, no ownership of the issue — just a brush-off.

This wasn’t my first Burberry purchase, but it will certainly be the last. I’ve had disappointing experiences with other Burberry items in the past (like a poorly made watch), but I had hoped those were isolated cases. They weren’t.

If you’re looking for quality, I strongly advise you to avoid Burberry. There are far better options out there — with better service, better craftsmanship, and more respect for the customer.

Ho un trench Burberry acquistato in Rinascente a Milano alcuni anni fa. Praticamente mai indossato perché con le maniche troppo lunghe. Stabilitami a Firenze mi informo presso il negozio di Via Tornabuoni della possibilità di usare a mie spese il loro servizio di sartoria per accorciarne le maniche. Mi rispondono positivamente e mi reco nel negozio con il capo nella sua dust bag. Mi accompagnano ad indossarlo. Dopo poco la commessa riappare chiedendo prova del dry cleaning. C’era ancora l’etichetta attaccata della lavanderia. La commessa scompare nuovamente e dopo qualche minuto ricompare chiedendo la prova di acquisto che non avevo. Tutta la situazione paradossale e antipatica mi ha profondamente irritato. La commessa non conosceva probabilmente la policy aziendale sulla sartoria per capi di acquisto non recentissimo ed io mi sono sentita veramente presa per i fondelli in questa tiritera pietosa. Se c’era bisogno della prova di acquisto non mi avrebbero dovuto nemmeno accompagnare a indossare il capo…e soprattutto non mi avrebbero dovuto far perdere tempo tra la mia richiesta e poi il rifiuto di supporto post vendita. Morale della favola: Burberry ha personale di vendita inadeguato e incompetente. Gestione scadente della relazione con il cliente. Ed io? Ho risolto usando privatamente la stessa sarta che lavora per il negozio alla metà del prezzo che mi avrebbero richiesto in boutique. Ridicolo. Mai più cliente Burberry. Mai più…

Purchased a bag from Burberry…

Purchased a bag from Burberry approximately 2 years old. They have put gold writing where the bag closes and now the writing has come off. It looks fake. Contacted Burberry and said they will not do anything with out the receipt and find my own person to fix this. I went to the store to try to get copy of my receipt and they have changed there system and no longer have my receipt on file. Going to trading standards see if they can help. Wish I could put photo up of bag.

Never buy BURBERRY glasses

They are very polity but they will not provide any solution to you and I will explain why.
Please never buy glasses from them, BURBERRY do not produce glasses, they have a third party company with a very bad quality who does it for them and the warranty is only for two years and when they do not have spare parts, the solution is just a simple sorry, BURBERRY will not do anything to help because they do not have any responsibility, that is how it works since they (BURBERRY) do not produce the glasses any issue you have with them is not their problem.

I regret purchasing Burberry Goddess Intense. The scent is off and doesn't compare to the original Burberry Goddess. Unfortunately, I can't return it, which makes it even more disappointing.
