Order to washing machine on Thursday rang on Saturday to see could you get delivered any earlier? The answer was no it’ll be Monday took the day off waiting at Home for the washing machine to be delivered rang again they said sorry they forgot all about it. It’ll be Thursday… lies on top of lies.

Bought a washing machine 16/8/25, delivered 18/8. worked fine for 1 day, second day it was showing an error code and wasnt spinning or draining. Got in touch with WhatsApp after sales team 19/8 and they said they
would replace it. Replacement
arrived 25/8. The machine worked fine but smelled really bad like rotten potatoes. Smell became worse each day and was on all washed clothes. I tried every way to clean it but nothing helped. On 6/9 I contacted again and asked for refund as the smell was extremely bad. They send a photo of another replacement machine which i agreed to and delivered it on friday 12/9 but it wasn't the one they had sent me a photo of and was also 8kg instead of 10kg. They took smelly machine away and said somebody would be I'm touch. I again demanded refund as this was causing no end of stress. They said they would send another replacement. On 15/9 the 4th machine arrived. Straight away i could smell rotten potatoes but not as bad as before. Driver said there was no smell and he could only smell detergent. After sales team have now said that if I have an issue with this machine that i need to bring it back to the shop myself. Disgraceful service. Waste of time, money, energy and 4 days waiting in for deliveries.

Purchased a Samsung refrigerator in February 2025 with 6 months Warranty.

I was unable to collect it for approximately 6 weeks - recently the inside of the refrigerator started icing up...

Communicated with the warranty manager in the shop - and they won't stand over the unit saying it's no longer covered.

I requested to speak with the owner / manager and he refused and also said that he would not communicate to it with him on my behalf.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM - UNLESS YOU WANT LACK LUSTER SERVICE....

AND A BAD ATTITUDE FROM THERE SUPPORT STAFF...

The Budget Appliances shop I bought from was Budget Appliances Beckenham. Service and sales was smooth, very competitive and no hassle. 3rd purchase from them, and they are cheaper than the cheapest, but better than the rest.

Untrustworthy. Bought a dishwasher from them. They didn't install it properly and it leaked water all over my floor. They refused to pay for the damage. Their customer service skills are non existent. I had to bring them to small claims court and they completely ignored all correspondence until the final straw after it had been filed in my favour. Don't waste your energy or time with them.

Had a great experience. From organising buying to delivery on whatsapp, which felt stressless, to installation being punctual, quick and courteous. A really good team to deal with throughout, would recommend and use again.

Bought a used refridge from their Smith Town store, stopped working in three weeks. Contacted them about warranty/repair and was told that it exceeded the one-month warranty period.

If you're strapped with cash and needed washing machine asap then go for it but be ready and save those cash to buy a new one.
Heres my timeline: ( as Im reading the receipts a total of 4 with 3 washing machines and 1 dishwasher);
29/11/22- Indesit washing machine installed- 190e paid

13/06/23- the indesit broke( completely stopped working) replaced and paid 120e.
There's a goodwill of gesture and discount here because it just came out of warranty.

5/10/23- the 2nd washing machine broke again( drum wasn't floating anymore, scratches and making an aeroplane noise) replaced and paid 35euro for delivery and installation only as still with warranty.

May 26, 2024- 3rd washing machine broke (no spin, doesnt stop washing at just 1 minute left). I was advised to bring the appliance to Drogheda, get checked and I will be "quoted" repair fee.

Timeframe lasted for 3 washing machines: 18 months

Total paid: 345euro( for this price you can buy an A rated brand new at Currys or Powercity including delivery)

My old washing machine bought from new lasted me 15 years. I only use once or twice
a week for 3 runs to wash, drum is always descaled every 2 weeks.

12/01/23- bought a kenwood dishwasher
Total paid: 220euro

Issue: the sliding apparatus was broke as bought. I rinsed( handwashed) all cutleries before placing them in as they turn out still greasy after 2 hour wash while a friend of mine just chuck in dirty plates in her 14 year old dishwasher with no bother.
The washing cycle goes at error at times and I have to reset multiple times just to get it washed. It sometimes makes weird grating noises. It feels like it will stop working very soon. Now Im getting a brand new one before this happens.
My old dishwasher lasted me about same 15 years and washed a lot stronger than this. And never ended a cycle with still greasy dirty plates.

Total money wasted: 565euro in a span of 18 months.

Only nice thing is they have friendly chatty delivery and installation polish people.

To be offer a "Fix" and call out charge for a product (the machine didn't work at all) I bought Friday and Delivered Saturday just shows how dodgy this company is

Staff at Budget Appliances are very helpful. Installers were professional, polite and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Best priced washing machine, installed, old one was taken away and l was shown how to program the new one. Thank you!

Is my 3 tumble dryer l got and still broke before the 6 months warranty, l got the first one on novembre 2020 and 3 weeks later broke down and even broke my new floor , l asked them to give my money back they didn't and gave me another one to replace it and l used for 5 months,still broke again .l went there to ask them to give me my money back but he still refuse and gave me another one to replace, l just got it last month and l didn't use it becasue the weather was good and l didnt need to use it until today , and when l tried to turn it on it didnt work and it has a strange smell , l will have to go again tomorrow to bring it back , hope they give my money back ,which l dont think they will ,l just wasted 200€ and 6 times driving over at their shop ..

I bought a fridge and a dishwasher. Fridge broke within 2 weeks I had to fight on the phone to get it replaced, which then it broke again after 8 months (outside 6 month warrenty) the dishwasher broke after 8 months nearly set my house on fire it blew the socket, was bound to happen as it was celptapped together on arrival. when I told them I was going to publicly shame them they sent a man to fix dishwasher who told me "sh#t happens" eh I have small kids the whole socket is burnt. Then continued to tell me it was a fault in the socket not the dishwasher I used it once and it broke again. NOT WORTH IT TOTAL RIP OFF. Avoid at all costs.

AVOID! This is a scam pure and simple. They sell you defective items which they then charge you to repair.

I bought four items from Budget Appliances two of which stopped working after 8-10 months and were outside of the 6 month warranty period. Called repair number to get items repaired but phone is rarely answered and calls/voicemails are not replied to. Took 30+ calls over 10 days to get a repair date. When I eventually did get someone to look at the fridge it was found to be irreparable. I was offered a new fridge to purchase for €250, on top of the €40 repair fee and told it was just my bad luck that half the items had broken.

Save yourself time and money and avoid this company. Absolute junk which you pay for and then pay again to have repaired.
