Really enjoyable experience and the pilot directed us so we went over our village which was brilliant.

All on time. My sons were delighted.

Most memorable day .everything is smooth and easy .My instructor so kind,humble and good.
I learn basic information, handing ,got clear instructor. ALL OVER VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.

Great experience - instructor Martin was excellent

A friendly and highly professional flying club with excellent facilities.
The introductory simulator session I had was outstanding - both highly instructive and fun at the same time. I hope to move on with this in 2022 resources permitting. Flying is never going to be the cheapest of pursuits wherever you go, but Bristol & Wessex do also offer some training packages to help ease this.
I think Bristol & Wessex is a very hard act to beat.

I had a 1 hour trial lesson with Bristol and Wessex Aeroplane Club and it was absolutely brilliant. It took a few attempts to get a day where the weather conditions allowed for a flight but all the staff were very accommodating and very friendly. My instructor Jonathan was great and after I had a few nerves of being in the air behind the controls for the first time, he explained how everything works and allowed me to focus on making the most of enjoying the experience. Highly recommended!

I had an hour’s flight with Jonathan and thought the whole experience was amazing.
Not only was the aircraft instruments fully explained to me but all the areas of interest that we passed over were pointed out.
I can thoroughly recommend this as an ideal experience for everyone and look forward to a further flight in the future.

Bought a 1hour simulator experience for teenage son's birthday present. Excellent experience. Great instruction, informative and enjoyable. An expensive treat but worth it. Great cafe too.

We had booked an hour each for the three of us. We arrived in time to have a coffee in the restaurant and relax. We were then led to the simulator and introduced to the pilot. He suggested we split the hour into 3x20 minute sessions and alternate between the 3 of us. This was a great idea. We had the most fun and had many laughs with the pilot. He had us doing aerobatics in the second and third sessions.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would recommend it to anyone. Give it a go. You won't regret it.

My husband recently had his first flying lesson with the club and thoroughly enjoyed it; it has inspired him to take more lessons in the future. Martin was an excellent instructor. We did a lovely route circling Bristol, the Severn Estuary and Somerset. I particularly liked the way that my husband (who is an aerospace engineer) was able to do as much flying as possible, and lots of things were explained to him. I sat in the back of the plane and took photos, and we both had a fantastic day. We also had a tasty lunch in the cafe afterwards with a great view of the airfield. We hope to return soon for more flying lessons!
