Count your blessings that you have healthy eyes now. Do not chance the health of your eyes for a cosmetic surgery with horrific side effects. You will need them your whole life. Take that money and spend it on therapy to resolve your self-esteem issues, at which point.. you will no longer desire this surgery.

I died. I went and got the implants done and they hurt my eyes and I went blind and got an infection then died.

whoever thought it was a good idea to put something inside your eye that shouldn't be there is seriously dumb. Yes this also applies for anyone who thought it would be a good idea to get this kinda procedure done, like seriously what the hell did you think was gonna happen?

Leute wenn ihr soweit seid und das hier liest Glückwunsch, es gibt selten Firmen die so viele schlechte Rezesionen haben und als erstes möchte ich mich bei dir bendanken beim Leser bzw. bei der Leserin da du nachsiehst um was für eine Firma es sich handelt, als erstes möchte ich klar stellen falls du immer noch denkst du willst die Operation machen dann rate ich dir dringenst davon ab du wirst er so bereun du wirst eine menge geld zahlen müssen dafür das du blind wirst und ja du wirst zu 99% blind und jeder der dir was anderes sagt lügt ich bin ehrlich zu dir am anfang wollte ich die operation auch machen hatte aber mit zu vielen leuten kontakt hab sogar mit denen viedeo telefoniert und glaub mir das war ihr gröster fehler im ganzen leben sie haben das so bereut und das traurigste ist manche können jz nichts mehr sehen stell dir vor du kannst dein kind nie wieder sehen oder erkennst es nur sehr schwer von der nähe oder du kannst deine geschwister nicht mehr sehen mit dem auge ist nicht zu spasen bitte vertrau mir und mach diese operation nicht ich hoffe ich konnte mit der naricht dein augenlicht retten

I had mine done, and it was told it's safe and you will not have problems. They sell it to you like it's a dream. Anyone who get's it done, will eventually have it get it removed. So imagine you will pay twice the money to have them done, and than to remove. And many will end up loosing eye sights and having major vison problems. I now have permanent glaucoma and weak vison. I have also ended up spending so much money for treatments etc all for nothing. So please DO NOT get it done.

DON’T DO IT. There is a reason it is illegal in many places.You must go overseas to get it done. They are NOT FDA approved. Some things in them may be illegal. People are made to shut up about it or they break the agreement they signed before the surgery. YOUR VISION WILL SUFFER. Your pupils will basically be scrambled up so you can’t see. You can get surgery to remove them if things go wrong(which they will). YOU CAN’T GET YOUR SIGHT BACK. You may be “just fine” the first years you have them, but you will have pain later and vision loss. They pay some people to get the surgery and never say anything negative even if they go blind. THE IMPLANTS DON’T EVEN LOOK REAL. The implants themselves don’t even look like eyes. They should look like high end contacts. I mean you according to them should have no problems and have them the rest of your life. Why would you want your eyes to look like plastic?? PEOPLE WHO DON’T HAVE PROBLEMS ARE LIARS. People who “don’t have complications” are being payed or just got the surgery. To sum it up.THEY ARE BAD FOR YOU AND YOUR VISION.

This is a horrid procedure. Tampering with one of the most delicate organs simply for financial gain? I'm assuming it's financial gain seeing as anyone with a moral ground and human heart would not carry out this butchery. Please, to those who are considering this, your eye colour is fine as it is. Don't do it. They won't care if it goes wrong. It's all marketing!

Did anyone sued Brightoctular yet? So you say you went blind big regret but why ppl aren't saying if they sued them. That's my question I need a answer to. PLEASE.

I had the implants almost 3 years ago, with perfect vision and never complained about my eyes. Now my left eye feels like there's something in it, my eye cell count is very low and it always has high pressure (in both eyes), Im extremely sensitive to light and I cant even afford to remove them! The doctor who did the operation claimed that it was safe, and the implants used could last up to 100 years meaning a lifetime! I feel extremely naiive to have believed this scum douche bag and money sucking company! when trying to contact brightocular they claimed that "If a doctor told me that, I would run the other way as any adult would know nothing is guaranteed, especially in medicine." and they recommended a doctor in india...who after researching i found out that he removed a whole iris of another victim while trying to remove the implants!! and the sad part the horror story is still yet to be continued, since i have no idea how these eye ticking bombs are going to be removed, if it's possible to rate less than one star this should be it! people should know the truth about the implication these implants lead to!

DO NOT do brightocular! Watch out on youtube, horrible experiences! People got blind! NO wonder why its BANNED in almost all countries on earth including US! YOUR eyesight and vision is more important than this scammers! Wear contact lenses and go find horrific experiences on youtube! I hope I saved someone eyesight!

Had my procedure in India, I was planning to go to Mexico but due to many complaints coming from one specific facility there, Brightocular no longer recommended that Center and banned it from performing the procedure however they did recommend places to go site seeing in Mexico. My experience was great besides the long flight to Delhi.

My advise is this, if you do not want to take any risk, don't have surgery at all. it's your decision to fly to another country to have the procedure. There are both negative and positive reviews all over the net which you can find on any procedure. Negative reviews or always more comment on the internet for any procedure because unhappy peoples voices are always louder than happy people who go on with their lives not posting their longterm success. No one can say they were not aware of the risks with all the information on the internet and when meeting the doctor and signing the surgery consent form which explains all the risks of the procedure which is also mentioned on the FAQ. It's strange when people say the company is misleading when the risks are on the website yet some people seem to ignore the precautions post operatively. If I have complications 20-30 or 100 years from now I took full responsibility for the decisions I made from my research, it's part of being an adult.

Long story short, in April 2012, I flew to Turkey for a cosmetic eye surgery after various consultation via email, under the direction of a company known as Brightocular. With my own research, I have found the company is a subsidiary of Stellar Devices LLC, a New York based company who manufactures these cosmetic silicone implants, and in turn sells them to the public via cosmetic surgery directly through the Brightocular website.

Around 4-5 months after the cosmetic operation, I started noticing that I was becoming extremely light sensitive in both eyes, and progressively my eye problems began to get more severe. Due to a lack of financial means, I had to suffer with the eye problems, which were later diagnosed by my current opthamologist as: Iritis--severe inflammation of the iris; highly elevated intraocular pressure, which if left untreated would have led to glaucoma; Vitreous Hemmorage, in which blood leaked into my right eye causing a severe and rapid loss of vision; and of course extreme sensitivity to light which caused me to wear sunglasses at all times even indoors, all a direct result of the implants as stated by my ophthalmologist. I have recently undergone surgery to remove the lenses and although I'm slowly recovering, my eyes are permanently damaged.

I wanted to share an article with in which another victim's story sounds almost identical to mine as far as the medical complications. I also noticed that the customer relations manager for Brightocular, David Kaiser, in the NY Times article was the same man who had consulted me for the surgery in my emails, which I still have, as well as other documentation of the surgery.

Yes, Brightocular was not a very well known company at this time, but as time progresses, I have noticed its popularity growing and I feel a duty to at least try to prevent this company from continuing to harm unsuspecting people who wish to undergo a cosmetic alteration.

Knowing that I can't prevent this, my goal is to at least make sure that is unbiased publicity, and cases like mine and other victims are no longer hidden in the shadows. It truly does break my heart seeing a company like this flourish after all of the pain I have endured, and I'm sure others have as well.

I fear that unless they are pursued legally, they will continue to flourish, thus harming even more innocent victims. Brightocular is not approved by US and European authorities. All I can say to people who are considering of doing this surgery overseas is to NOT DO IT, it's not worth sacrificing your eye sight just to have light colored eyes.

Don’t even think about having this procedure done. You will regret it. All they want is your money. They are a marketing company that cares about making a profit rather than caring about their patients. BrightOcular implants are dangerous and will increase the risk of complications and eye damage that will lead to blindness. Most people that got this surgery done ends up with having the implants explanted because of horrific complications. Sayyora recently had her implants reversed due to irritation and sensitivity to light. This procedure is not allowed in the US and Europe because of the high risks of complications. BrightOcular also got banned in Mexico a few months ago, they are not allowed to have a facility in Mexico anymore. All their testimonials on Youtube are fabricated. Trust me you will be saving your money and eye sight by avoiding this procedure.

Most people that have this procedure done ends up with having the implants removed within 1-3 years. There are hundreds of people that had these iris implants explanted due to cell loss, high eye pressure and inflammation. Just to mention a few of them: Patty, Sveta, Selena Rodriguez, Nadinne Bruna, Zonnique Pullins, Tanard Davis, Omar Sabuding. BrightOcular don’t care if something happens to your eyes after the procedure. All they care about is receiving payment. They are a marketing company that cares about making a profit rather than caring about their patients. We all know that the BrightOcular implants are dangerous and will increase the risk of uveitis, glaucoma and cataracts that will lead to blindness. There is a reason why this procedure is banned in Europe, US, Canada, Australia and New Zeeland. The US and EU will never FDA and CE approve this procedure. DONT DO BRIGHTOCULAR. ITS NOT SAFE NO MATTER WHERE YOU GET IT DONE AND WHO DOES IT. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
