I made a large order for collection and I needed it quickly, then it snowed and I couldn’t get there to pick it up so I phoned and they delivered it to me same day no problem at all. Great service

I am a painter and decorator of 11 years but this issue had me stumped! Nick was very knowledgable of his products and gave me a follow up call two days later to ask how the rectification process went. What amazing customer service! A paint shop without colour charts.

I went in to the store at the weekend as I wanted to get some colour charts for a project I am working on, the staff looked under the counter then went off out the back somewhere before coming back and saying they could not find any of the charts I needed.

The staff serving me, said they was unsure when or if the manager would get anymore in as she had just had a clear out. I couldn't believe it given Brewers reputation that stuck me as being very odd that a manager would just get rid of something as basic as colour charts.

After hearing that I told them not to worry I would go elsewhere and get them. Turns out the Crown decorators centre is just around the corner and they actually had the charts I needed.

Based on my experience going forward I will just be using Crown instead. I would not recommend using Brewers, Crown on the other hand I highly recommend.

The Gillingham store refused to deliver to me.

I was in a real bind as I needed some Dulux paint and as I had work going on at home I could not leave the house.

I contacted the Gillingham store to get a delivery they told me that the could not come out, telling me they did not have a driver for the van and then proceeded to tell me even if the driver was in that I was outside of their delivery area and so I had to speak to their Canterbury branch, this in and of itself is terrible service.

Anyway I needed the paint so I called Canterbury branch upon speaking to an extremely rude man (probably the rudest person I have ever spoken to) who belittled me and told me I would not get my delivery until next week as I had missed the "cut off", he wouldn't even commit to a date telling me my expectations were to high.

At this point I was completely desperate for the paint, and knew Brewers were going to be of no help, thankfully I found out online that Dulux themselves deliver, after calling them they got the paint out to me the same day, they unlike Brewers were a real godsend.

If you need a delivery or paint in general based on my experience I recommend going elsewhere as I did. I can not remember the last time I had such bad service as this both stores I dealt with were bad. Needless to say I won't be coming back ever again and I would strongly recommend everyone else avoids them to.

Terrible atmosphere in the place now.

I used this store about 6 months or so ago and the vibe was great truly one of the best shop experiences I have ever had, everyone was so happy and helpful. So naturally when it came time again to get some more paint for the house I came back.

Unfortunately my return experience the other day couldn't have been much worse. I am not sure what has gone wrong but I won't be coming back, far from being helpful the staff seem cold and uninterested.

It's such a shame to see the place go downhill so fast, I ended up at B&Q instead.

Very disappointed with the service at the gillingham store having been used to nick and the others being ever so helpful over the years I was shocked to find the store is not the brewers I used to know. Instead, I was served by an ever so rude big fellow and a clueless woman who is apparently the manager.

Going forward I will make use of the boxley store instead as they are still very helpful over there I hope brewers management takes note and sorts the store out as seeing it like this is very sad.

Sold me out of date repair care product.
Of which using will invalidate the guarantee I can iffer my customer, and as I was on a dead line so I didn’t gave time to drive the hour round trip to return it for another.

Simple and efficient from start to finish. When insufficient wallpaper was available I got a phone call immediately to advise when it would be available and ensuring I wanted to wait. Very happy with the service - it was even in stock earlier!
