Do not order from this company!
I ordered a fruit basket for a relative in hospital. I paid extra for delivery to be the following morning. The courier company then contacted me confirming delivery had been made the following afternoon. However, my sister had not received this. After my emails to Bradfords being ignored I investigated myself. The basket had actually been delivered to the stores dept and not the ward as requested. The fruit lay in the stores department for a further 24 hours being being delivered to the ward. Wasn’t so fresh then! Still have had no reply to my emails!!

I asked for a specific day for the cakes to be delivered for my son’s birthday. Unfortunately they were delivered two days early and spoiled the surprise. These cakes are not worth the money paid

My husband received a savoury hamper as a gift for his birthday. The hamper contained a selection of pates, 2 different flavours of cheddar cheese, 2 different types of savoury biscuit, a chocolate cake, a bottle of wine and a helium balloon.
It was a lovely gift, and was well packaged.
The reason for the 3 stars is because the pate only had a very short use by date of 5 days. Despite contacting customer services to express my disappointment, I have heard nothing. The pate does not appear to be anything special to justify the short shelf life. It came in a jar so I would expect a shelf life of a couple of weeks.

I ordered 2 boxes of 6 cupcakes as a gift for 2 different people. One of the boxes was great. The other recipient received a box of squished cupcakes which bore little resemblance to the photograph. Customer services said they may have been squished in transit or perhaps topping had been overfilled meaning they did not fit in box. Delivery cost was refunded. I really feel whole cost of that box should have been refunded as a box of squished cupcakes was really not the gift I had hoped to give.

What was delivered was equal to my expections. Packaging and fruit was in good condition. Delivered on time through DHL. Would like to have added a photo but couldn't see how to attach.

I have used Bradford bakers many times and the strawberry’s , cakes and buns are of a very high standard . I highly recommend

Customer service needs some training. Staff very nice and sound like they want to help but don't get back to you. After making several phone calls and 2 unanswered emails problem was not resolved. Left feeling let down and very dissapointed.

Purchased a jubilee gift hamper. Beautifully packaged, but unfortunately I didn’t enjoy the muffins or Victoria sponge, just didn’t like the taste. I expected the cakes to be soft and spongy but they weren’t. Strawberries in chocolate were lovely though, so not all bad. Don’t think I’d buy from again though.

I used Bradfords Bakers several times a few years ago to give gifts to clients, and always received good feedback. So when I wanted to send something to thank a team of teachers, I decided to use them again. The cakes arrived today as promised, I've been told they are 'already legend and have gone down a storm'.

Negative comments for Bradfords seem to generally be about delivery - DPD can be hit or miss (as I know from bad experiences), but on this occasion they got it right!

Absolutely delighted with the products I ordered from ordering to delivery ,delivery guy was very pleasant what a difference from the norm. I like making strawberry tarts for my Grandchildren and bought strawberry jelly ( it's fantastic) in Dobbies Cumbernauld before it closed so I ordered directly from Bradfords in Glasgow and pastry cases they are delicious, wish I had known about this bakery years ago will definitely be ordering again, thank-you for great products and service.

Do not bother to order a breakfast hamper! the charge you £5 delivery and then deliver its at 3pm. They then tell you you should have paid £10 for delivery if you wanted it before noon!
the box delivered is also really feeble and naf looking.

This company can not be trusted. I noted that all bad reviews for this business are very well hidden.
They have done the following
1.) Sent broken item in the post and would not resolve the issue until it was too late.
2.) Ruined a birthday
3.) Delivered terrible customer service
4.) Insulted and reduced the recipient to tears, with their behaviour
5.) Refused a full refund.
6.) Then said a full refund could be given if the week old cake and chocolate is returned to them at our cost. I looked this up and I am reporting the company to health inspector. There is heavy regulations around perishable food items and reselling. Which is what they would do.
7.) Still have not resolved the complaint - we have spoken to a legal representative and they would gladly take up a case.
8.) We have now raised a charge back with the credit card company against this business.

We ordered goods from other companies and never had this experience.
Do not buy or trust the company. I would be fearful that your being given broken or worst returned perishable food items, which are stale.

You have been warned.

Faultless service from this company. Excellent service and delicious hamper contents. Always deliver on time (even to Fort William Scotland).

I've used this company repeatedly since lockdown began, for birthday and anniversary gifts and just general surprises.

They always deliver. Great quality, reasonably priced, always packed well, easy to order and they keep you updated and you know exactly when your order will be delivered.

Luckily, someone I ordered a gift for returned the favour and I had a lovely cup-cake selection so finally got to sample what everyone else had fed back to me - really nice quality.

I'll continue to use and happily recommend.

We had a lovely cream tea for my wife’s birthday treat. The cakes and scones were absolutely yummy. Well presented and excellent delivery. I live in Buckinghamshire and I was worried that it wouldn’t be so fresh on arrival but I was so wrong to think that. Excellent food!

It the 1st time I've used bradfordsbakers.
I ordered Elegance Tea Tray for a 70th birthday, it was well received,was packed lovely.
I was worried about delivery but i was kept informed,it was delivered on time on the day.

I highly recommend Bradfords Gifts. I purchased chocolate covered strawberries and doughnuts for my son and his wife who live in England for their first anniversary. I was nervous purchasing from the USA online, but their ordering system was very easy and flawless. Customer Service communication was excellent. Order was shipped and received as promised with updated shipping information throughout. My son and daughter-in-law were thrilled with the gift which was carefully boxed and came with an elegant gift card. They said the doughnuts were fluffy, fresh and delicious. It tasted as though they were made that very morning. The strawberries were perfect, as well. Thanks to this company for their attention to detail and a very positive experience!

Hamper delivered on time as a present to friends. They were over the moon and said it was beautifully presented. Thank you Bradford Bakers, excellent service and would highly recommend.

I ordered for 4 different sites as it was a staff event for the whole organisation, only 2 sites had a delivery, I spent hours chasing the deliveries , making calls and sending emails both to DPD and Bradfords. I understand that occasionally things get lost in the post and I know this is even worse with DPD, I was patient and understanding. What I don't understand is the fact that I have had to wait a month for a refund, I have spent time and effort trying to call and sent a number of emails to customer service, I have never been contacted back, no apology no offer for an explanation. the only contact was a confirmation from the external payment company to say that a refund is being processed 4 and a half weeks after the fact. This ruined the event and upset a lot of staff. DISOPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATMENT. My Organisation will never use this company again.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Awful customer service.
Goods still have not arrived 2 weeks after scheduled delivery date. Have contacted customer services several times requesting a refund for failed services, but no responses. Ruined a 21st birthday surprise. Do not use, waste of money.
