I have been using self tan for many years so I know how to apply and get good results. I have used various brands until I found my absolute favourite over 10 years ago. Sadly this brand was discontinued so I gave Bondi Sands a try. The price is cheaper than my old favourite and the smell (coconut) is pleasant. There I’m afraid the positives end. The lotion is thick, sticky and has a green tinge on application. You certainly can’t go out until you wash off hours later! However, applying overnight isn’t an option because it stains the bed linen. If you apply too much in certain areas it is hard to correct. This obviously results in streaks or dark patches if you aren’t ultra careful. I left the lotion on several hours as instructed then washed off to reveal not a golden tan but a fake looking orange- absolutely awful! So disappointing- won’t use again and have thrown the remainder in the bin.

I absolutely love bondi sands for their fake tan products, as well as their SPF and skincare. I find the SPF is moisturising, as someone who hates how suncream feels due to the oily and sticky feeling of it, Bondi sands is perfect - it melts into your skin and is very lightweight.

Moreover, the customer service team are wonderful. I ordered from the sale two weeks ago, and was emailed promptly to be made aware they had sold out of the SPF lipbalm flavour I ordered, I was given multiple options (including refunds, or replacement) I decided to go for another flavour lipbalm, and my package was shipped very fast - arriving two days after being originally emailed. In particular, Lei from the bondi sands team was very kind and very speedy response.

Bondi sands used to be my go to. But since the change in formula, it’s has become orange and leaves you with the worst. Most irritating rash. I have scratched my skin raw on my legs arms and tummy. Moisturiser doesn’t do much to help with the itching. It’s excruciating. Hands down the worst bloody tan on the market today.

Love the products but the customer service is AWFUL, don't order directly from the site spend your money with a retailer instead! My order went missing and they refused to help me and said it was up to me to raise it with Royal Mail and deal with it. Although it is the retailers' duty to ensure the products arrive to the customer. The representatives were very unhelpful and unprofessional. They very kindly just resorted to ignoring my emails.

I use Bondi Sands, dark foam religiously, once a week.

I recently decided to try their Aero formula, however wasn’t a fan of the colour and it came out patchy.

This is a shame as their products are expensive, so I contacted their customer service on live chat via their website.

I contacted them at 10pm on a Saturday night and was instantly connected with an advisor. Omar was on the case and resolved my issue in a matter of minutes.

I love their dark foam and their customer service was excellent, to be able to sort my query instantly at this time of night.

This stuff is stinking 🤮 such an awful smell

I made an order, as I thought it was a great deal having a discount on products that weren’t currently discounted in store. I also thought I could try new products that weren’t avail in store.
I made my order and it took days to be packed, finally posted over a week after ordering and then for the last month I haven’t received my goods.

They use star track but use a courier service so they can’t drop your package at a post office. I waited to find my tracking said wrong address. The reason it was “wrong” was because the postage company couldn’t be bothered looking for my address and marked it as wrong address. I discussed with customer service of bondi sands that I just wanted a refund and to cut ties with this company, due to such incompetence from the courier, the wait time and just generally wanting my money back to buy the items elsewhere. I was refused and told they need to confirm the item would be on its way back to me. The tracking stated it was, but they didn’t believe that or me.

I was told they could get back to me in 24 hrs. 3 days later I got an answer, “we are still investigating”
After a month, I finally received my package after being on the phone for hrs to Star Track in order to get it. I just feel like their postage service they use is almost impossible if you work, have a life, because you have to be home all day just to receive it or drive to an obscure warehouse in the middle of no where just to get it. The customer service was dismissive, didn’t care, gave this false gross behavior of “OMG BABE xoxoxox” and it’s just cringe.
I feel like if they just took into consideration that their customers actually wanted to be looked after, and not treated like an after thought, it would have had a better outcome.

Now I have these items that to be honest, I don’t even want anymore because I bought them in store, and s really bad taste in my mouth from customer service. They don’t care about your patronage, they don’t care how much you’ve spent, all they want is your money. They don’t even care if you had a good experience or a bad. It’s just been horrible all around and I advise anyone not to order off the website. Go to retailers if you want the products or literally anywhere else to get other tanning products.

I won’t be repurchasing from this website ever again due to the horrible customer service, long waits for postage and general “we just want your money, and don’t care about you” attitude. Save your money

By far the worse tanning moose I have ever used! I bought dark and it doesn't even look like tan it looks like dirt in odd places.. the rest of me just looks pale! And the smell is awful and makes you all sticky. Wish I'd stuck to my usual now as I don't have anything else to use in the house. First thing I've bought off them and will be the last aswell

Hands down the best instant tan, no transfer, no streaks, easy application and gorgeous colour. Also love the gradual tan milk. Can’t wait to try the liquid gold gradual tan.

I love all of bondinsands product but aero.
AERO DOESNT BLEND!!! It’s awful to say the least, you have to keep applying more to make it blend and then it’s patchy so you as more and it becomes a vicious circle.
I have never wanted to smash my mirror more. My elbows are now look like the colour of my dogs excreetement, not orange, MUD BROWN
I can’t go out like this.
Unblednable rubbish

So far I have tried Bondi sands dark foam, aero liquid gold, and the dry oil spray pump. I've spent alot of money and not very satisfied. The initial smell is pleasant but the longer it sits the worse it smells. Especially if you start to sweat. This apply's to each one I have tried. It does not last long at all even if you do exactly what they say. Shower, shave, exfoliate, moisturize knees, elbows, hands, and feet. Even went as far as freezing myself in the shower by using very cold water before I got out to close my pores. The foams are very sticky and seems to wash right off in the shower even if you've worn your tan for over 10 hours. I use a makeup brush to apply the product to my face, feet, and hands. I don't know how they get their models to look so flawless but that's not at all how these tans make me look. False advertising! There is nothing I can do to make my hands look right. They come out very uneven and patchy looking. The dry oil, is a step up because it dries quickly and you can get dressed almost immediately without leaving fake tan all over your clothes. I was tanning in an indoor tanning bed and was very bronze, but got scared of skin cancer so when I seen these tanners I stopped tanning indoors and gave them a whirl. I keep using them even though they do not please me to the fullest. If anything could be changed i would choose the smell. Maybe they could come out with a non scented one that does not smell like crap within a half hour. I give this product 3 stars because it def gives you some color to a very pale skinned girl but it is definitely not worth all the hype.

This tan gave me a rash. Customer service was very poor. I would not recommend this product

Love , love, love the shampoo and conditioner! I’ve been looking for a natural product that works! My hair is so soft and shiny!!

If I could give the bondi sands tanning foam zero stars I would.... yesterday I tanned using the ultra dark foam and I woke up looking more pale than I did before I put it on. Also, I was so green I had to where a long sleeve too and trousers to try and hide the colour of my skin, now I have to use a different tan over the top and hope it takes away the green tinge otherwise I will look like this for at least a week. Beyond awful and you can’t even email them for a refund.
If you’re like me and like a nice dark natural looking tan steer clear of this !!! Just horrible.

Just tried the dark spray mist, it's absolutely gorgeous, the smell is lush and it goes on perfectly, definitely better than any I've used before!!!

After using self tan for 20 years and different products I thought I'd give Bondi beach ago as I've never used it and I've read good reviews on it but won't b using again it leaks when u push down on the bottle do u get a dark finger it also gives u a green tint to your tan I've used a cheap 5 pound one for years so I'll b going back to that as I have no problems with it at all just thought I'd try something different won't b again

I let them know I couldnt stand the smell, that It woke me in the night to need to shower AGAIN due to the odor of roasting turkey.. IT TOOK A WEEK BETWEEN EACH EMAIL TO GET RESPONSES Its sticky for hours. And the supposed cocount scent smells like nothing!
THE HOOPS TO JUMP THROUGH REQUIRED TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK GARUNTEE ARE REDICULOUS!!! AND NOT GARUNTEED AT ALL!!!!!!!
