Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review! 🥰

We’re genuinely thrilled to hear how much you love the set — especially the packaging and the little “surprise” moment of discovering each item. We put a lot of care into making it feel like a proper treat from the second you open the box, so it means a lot that you noticed the scent and presentation too.

It sounds like your daughter is going to have the loveliest bath sessions, and we’re honoured you chose us for her Christmas gift. Thanks again for the recommendation and for supporting our small business — it really does mean the world.

Wishing you both a wonderful Christmas and a very pampered New Year! 🎄✨

Hi Anna Jane! Thank you for your feedback and for letting us know about your experience. We’re sorry to hear that some items weren’t exactly as ordered and that you haven’t received a response to your follow-up email — that’s not what we want for our customers.

We’ve requested your details through Trustpilot so we can look into this further, but we weren’t able to find an email under your name in our system. It’s possible you used a different email address when placing your order. Could you please confirm your order number or the email linked to your purchase so we can locate it and help resolve this for you?

Thank you for your patience — we’d really like to get this sorted.

Hi there,
Thank you for your message. I’m genuinely sorry this has caused you frustration.

I want to assure you we’re a legitimate business and we are not a scam.

We operate two different divisions — one for trade customers, and one for consumer (retail) customers. The person who normally handles all the incoming phone calls in your department has been off unwell, so other teams have been stepping in to help, which has unfortunately slowed down our response times and caused some confusion.

I can confirm, we’ve actually spoken three times this week to explain what’s going on, and I can confirm your order is out for delivery and will be with you today. You should have received updates from DPD regarding this. You placed the order on the 1st, and everything has been processed within the delivery terms published on our website.

If you like, I can send you the tracking number now so you can see exactly where your package is if you have not had the DPD notification

I’m sorry for how frustrating this has been. Thank you for your patience, and I’m here to make this right.

Thanks again for your patience, and I’m really glad the order has arrived and that you’re happy with the bombs.

I’m sorry the communication wasn’t better. Six days from order to delivery is still within the delivery terms listed on our shipping page, although we normally move faster. Because we’ve recently had a turnaround in staff, things slipped a little — that’s not an excuse, just context.

DPD automatically sends out status updates and tracking notifications, but clearly something went wrong with how those got communicated in your case. I apologise you didn’t receive them in a timely manner.

I want to reassure you that in future, if you ever need a status update, you’re very welcome to call us directly on 01202 859059. If you notify us of any delivery concern through that number, we will always prioritise your order and get back to you straight away.

Thank you for your feedback — we’re working to improve our communication so this doesn’t happen again.

I'm really sorry to hear about your experience. I completely understand how frustrating this situation must be, especially when you've been left waiting with little to no communication. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused.

I’ve had a look into this for you and I can see that there is an order under your name from Monday that has been dispatched with DPD. However, to get more information I have requested further information from you to confirm (including email address and order number) and I’ll be sure to update you as soon as I receive a response.

While we do our best to ensure smooth and timely deliveries, it appears this issue lies with the courier as it did leave us Wednesday, and I’m really sorry that it’s impacted your experience with us. That said, we take full responsibility for resolving this for you and won’t leave you chasing answers on your own.

Thank you for your patience so far, and again, I’m truly sorry for the delay and the lack of updates. I’ll be in touch with more information as soon as I have it.

I’m really sorry to hear about your frustration and I completely understand why you’d be concerned if you haven’t seen any delivery updates. I’ve looked into this for you, and I can confirm that DPD sent the tracking information directly to your email address on the 13th of August. It may be worth checking your junk or spam folder in case it was filtered there.

I’ve also searched our system and can’t find any emails from you, which is unusual, as we always respond to customer enquiries. This definitely isn’t how we normally work, and I want to reassure you that this is absolutely not a scam.

We value your trust, and I’ll make sure you get the information you need. If you’d like, I can call DPD for an update now and see what has happened.

I will reply with an update personally to your email address used to place the order.

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m so sorry to hear that our Foaming Bath Wash didn’t meet your expectations—especially for a Mother’s Day gift. That’s definitely not the experience we want for any of our customers.

Our formulas are designed to create a rich lather while nourishing the skin, so it sounds like something may have gone wrong here. We’d love to make it right and also gather a bit more information so we can look into this further.

Would you mind letting us know the scent or variety you received, and where it was purchased? If you can please email it to mailorder@bombcosmetics.co.uk

In the meantime, we’d be happy to offer a refund or send a replacement if you’re open to trying another product that might be a better fit for your skin. Again, if you could email your details over.

Again, we really appreciate your feedback—it helps us improve and serve our customers better.

Thank you so much for your order and for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. I’m really sorry to hear that you were disappointed when your delivery arrived—that’s never the experience we want for our customers.

I just wanted to clarify that our bath bombs are priced at £3.99 each, and each one weighs a minimum of 180g, which is a similar size to many of LUSH’s bath bombs—but at a more accessible price point. We're not sure how the £6–£8 figure came up as we don't have any Bath Bombs at this price, but we’d be happy to double-check your order details if you’d like to send us the order number.

That said, we completely understand that everyone has different preferences, and we’re genuinely sorry to hear that we didn’t hit the mark for you this time.

Thank you again for giving us a try—we do appreciate it, and should you ever decide to return, we’d love the opportunity to offer you a better experience.

I’m so sorry to hear about your recent experience, and I completely understand how frustrating and disappointing this must have been—especially as the items were carefully chosen for your daughter’s birthday. Please accept our sincerest apologies for letting you down.

Substituting an item without prior notice, particularly when it’s for a thoughtful gift, is not acceptable, and I’m really sorry this happened. It’s also deeply concerning to hear that you had difficulty getting through to our customer service team—we’re currently reviewing how this was missed so we can prevent it from happening again.

Of course, we’ll issue a full refund for the incorrect item, no questions asked. If you could please send over your order number, we’ll get that processed as quickly as possible.

We truly appreciate you taking the time to bring this to our attention, and I’m so sorry that your experience didn’t reflect the care and service we strive to offer. Thank you again for your patience, and we’d love the chance to make this right.

Thank you so much for your continued support and kind words—we’re really glad to hear you’ve been happy with your previous orders directly from us!

We’re really sorry to hear about your experience with the gift set ordered via Amazon. Unfortunately, we’ve seen cases where some third-party sellers don’t meet the same quality standards we hold ourselves to, and the products may not come directly from us. That said, we completely understand how disappointing that must have been, especially when you were expecting the same standard you’re used to.

If you ever have any doubts about where to buy, we always recommend ordering directly from our website or authorised retailers to ensure you’re getting the real Bomb experience—beautifully made products, carefully packed, and quality-checked.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback—it really does mean a lot, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!
